Even if it ́s not listed as a note I believe there ́s a hefty dose of genuine ambergris in here, as well as some incense. The result is stunning! IMO Ys-Uzac is one of the best and most original perfume houses that exist. Vincent Micotti is so talented, I always expect something extraordinary from him, he has risen to the occasion every time. The concept is groundbreaking and unique, and all the fragrances actually live up to the rather imaginative inspirational notes from the brand, it actually makes sense when you experience their scents. Both this one and Bois Fou which was released at the same time are on my want list and will hopefully be a part of my ever growing collection where Ys-Uzac now is taking a very prominent position.

Mildly polarizing tuberose with slight synthetic leather undertone. Long longevity, moderate sillage. Ambiguous, carnal, reasonably expansive, with playful airy-watery supporting smells to the main act of blonde leather and tuberose. Expansive aura of confidence, being both feminine floral and ambiguously masculine smelling. Amplifier of pre-existing emotions towards the wearer. Reminiscent of expanses within eastern North America. Early dreams of Westward expansion, what with the leather (saddle), with all of the ambiguous motives tied to Manifest Destiny. Embraces moral complexity, committing to work through, not turn away from challenges.

First thing: I applied it on my wrist in the morning around 11 am. Its 22:45, I had already a shower. took te train and back and it is still strong. The analogy of a child contemplating the skies at night is very adequate. In this scent I can feel a sky is being painted in from of my eyes with some grass whispering to my ears, especially when I close my eyes. It has the Vincent Micotti signature for sure
