Chairman

The only review here ?? : ) This brand seems to be not quite mainstream in my country, and myself as a perfume fan for many years I even haven't heard about it, sorry... But this one is owned by my boyfriend (the only perfume that he owns, which was a present from one of his uncles bought from Algeria, eight years ago haha... share the little story) However, I want to say I like it very much! It smells quite intense and sweet, but in a masculine way, the dry-down smell woody and warm, it's a long-lasting one in winter. A killer scent for me : ) In spite named as 'Chairman', this is not a chairman with a somber face, in contrary it's an easy-going gregarious young chairman to me : )

This is a sweet fragrance, that could quite easily be worn by a woman. Underlying the vanilla, amber and sugary and slightly spicy notes is a faintly vague woodiness. It is a really warm scent that is suitable for winter. The good thing about Chairman is that it avoids being cloying and It has acceptable longevity and projection.

This one is tough for me to describe. It's somewhat sweet with it's vanilla, amber, spun sugar, and slight apple note. Yet it's also spicy with the cinnamon. It should be overwhelming sweet and gourmand yet it isn't and has a woody tone in the dry down. Looking at the notes I really thought it would smell at least a little bit like Boss Bottled #6 but it does not. Confused? So was I. Yet, the notes listed do exist but are just not presented as a super sweet fragrance. Again, it's more woody than sweet, vanilla-y, or fruity. All that somehow manages to take a back seat to the overall woody character. Sillage and longevity are average. Chairman is nice and surprising but not special so it's an above average like and not a love. For the price is it worth it? Sure, it's good but I'd recommend Jaguar Gold or Boss Bottled over this any day. They're in the same genre but not close enough to put in the reminds me of section. Jaguar is much sweeter. So if you'd like Jaguar Gold if it wasn't so sweet and gourmand then this fits that description. As mentioned, the name is totally wrong. It's Amber Gold, Spiced Amber, Chairman's Lounge or Chairman's Pupil/Assistant/Understudy/Intern. Lol. Buy or Pass? $20 for a set with body wash so buy but just because it's pretty good at that price point. If it were $25+ then pass as it's good but not unique. I tend to like gourmand fragrances that are indeed sweet, vanilla-y (my favorite note), and/or fruity and even though this, IMO, isn't really any of those it's still enjoyable. 6-6.5/10. It's probably not said enough about other reviews when we post as we're usually just thinking about our POV but the reviews below me are accurate as well. Between all of them, I think it gives a good idea about this fragrance. Hope this helps shed some light on an obscure fragrance!

Hmm... This is sweet, but not cloying or a gourmand frag(No). Sweet, soft spice, a bit fruity. I bought this because of a friend. And when I read it had spun sugar as a note... I was like...Hmmm!It does... let's give it a try. And it's okay... It's like one mil and jaguar gold classic mixed into one. IMHO... Hope it helps. I used six sprays...both wrist, back & front of my neck, chest, and front of my shirt. Will I buy this again?...No, I don't see myself finishing this bottle. What's the strength of this? EDT.
