Thallium Sport (Limited Edition)

This does not have great performance but the smell is really nice. A summer only scent and has the best scent of the 3 Thallium scents but performance is an issues

FRESH/CITRUS/WOODY/CREAMY GOOD FRAGRANCE w/ POOR PERFORMANCE Having the Regular Thallium, I expected this to be super sweet (like female perfume), however, Thallium Sport is nothing like the (super sweet) Original Thallium. Thallium Sport starts off citrusy (candied orange) with linen like freshness along with a hint of the Original Thallium sweetness, then as it dries it gets creamy (like vanilla) and lightly woody. Its a very light & subdued scent compared to the OG Thallium; Overall a GOOD SMELLING Fragrance even though it's rather synthetic; seems to be inspired by Chanel Allure Home Sport Eau Extreme, not even close to the same quality but still gives that fresh clean+ creamy sweet vibe but Thallium Sport is more candied-orange sweet. Projection is DECENT, will need a lot of sprays to get projection but it's so light that it's not easily over applied; good arms length scent bubble for about an 1-2 hour(s). Performance is POOR, might get 1-3 hours. Get the best performance in cool to cold temps.

*************************** Best Smelling Thallium *************************** I had Thallium, Thallium Black, and now Thallium Sport. No comparison, SPORT is the best smelling of the three. Original is too sugary, Black is too OLD MAN smelling, and SPORTS smell so fresh & so nice, I love it. ***************************** Really Bad Performance ***************************** Thallium ORIGINAL give me 2hrs projection, 4~5 hrs total life Thallium BLACK give me 1hr projection, 3 hrs total life Thallium SPORT give me 15min projection, collapse into skin scent for barely 1~2hr total life. I really ♥ the way Thallium Sport smell, but I"m getting really horrible performance from it. I have a $7 Adidas fragrance that performs better.

Thallium Sport is definitely a good clone of Chanel's Allure Homme Sport. If this wasn't true, I wouldn't waste my time writing this... Thallium isn't quite as deep as AHS is though. It relies more on the top notes, and doesn't do the fresh peppery blend as well as AHS. To me, it pushes the lemon note too much to the top, as it is most noticeable in the scent. It's also slightly synthetic, but only slightly... I doubt anyone would expect it to last as long as a Chanel frag, but it does hold it's own and will last an average of 4 hours. Again, I feel confident in saying that if you don't want to buy AHS at $90/ bottle, this inexpensive Thallium clone will probably satisfy you as a substitute unless you're fairly picky.

I love regular Thallium. I like Thallium Black. I like Thallium Sport too, but its a lot shorter relationship than the other two Thallium offerings due to the terrible performance. One way to look at it is that it is so cheap that you can decant and reapply continually (which is what I'm doing). Now, I will say that I don't ever get the monster performances that other folks get with most frags, but I would expect a little better performance than what I'm getting. Hot as hell high humidity can't explain away all the performance problems for TS. If I find cool weather performance that is superior, I'll update my review.
