Thallium

Bought this on a blind buy online because it looked interesting, and for the ridiculously low price, coupled with the generally high reviews, I figured 'what the hell?'. Honestly, judging by the shape of the bottle, I was totally expecting a barbershop vibe to be Thallium's strongest characteristic (reminds me of the old school Barbicide bottles in every barbershop on earth with the used combs sitting in the bottom), but damn, this one surprised the hell out of me! No barbershop whatsoever detected here. What I do detect is that Thallium has a dual personality, it is a wolf in sheep's clothing. It is definitely not what it seems, and I would not call this a fougere as the above description states...but amber, yes, and aromatic, and downright sexy in the final analysis. I have to say, coming right out of the gate I couldn't stand this, it was so f-ing sweeeeeet, I just about threw it in the trash, but I gave it some time to dry a bit, and now I'm digging this, immensely! The opening is straight up pineapple upside-down cake decorated with those little powdery, pastel-colored candy hearts with the words on them, the ones we used to give to our potential sweethearts in middle school, extremely sweet, damn near unbearable! But the uber-sweet 'sheep's clothing' starts to drop off as it starts to drydown after about 15 minutes, and the wolf slowly emerges. It becomes a cross of aromas reminiscent of JPG Ultra Male, YSL 'Y' EdP, Versace's The Dreamer, and even a bit of Mugler Pure Malt (minus the burnt whiskey note), to my nose. If it's to be a wolf, it is a shy one. Thallium has a reserved strength about it. It's strong, but it doesn't project itself as being so. It's got a reluctance about it that I can't quite explain (maybe if you have it you can relate); it comes across as if it could be a beast if it really wanted to...but it has a kind of meekness to it, that says, 'no, that's all right, I'll stay back here.' (I didn't spray very much of this to get an idea of it though. I could be totally off-base; one or two more sprays might've had me whistling a different tune).. I get a pretty vivid impression of two fairly young people who either just met or who are really into each other making out on a sofa in a dark corner in the back of a club somewhere from this, so I mean it's strong in a more intimate, come-hither-to-my-lips sort of way (hence the lipstick note i'm getting from this, perhaps?), that doesn't necessarily need nor want to broadcast itself. I think this is a straight down the middle unisex fragrance once the overly-fruity/cakey opening subsides. A lovely sweet powdery ambery musk keeps developing after the initial fruity notes dissipate. It might lean ever so slightly toward the masculine, but I hardly notice it. This has a really nice powdery, lipsticky, sultry, seductive vibe to it about an hour into drydown, I'm loving this part of it! I imagine this gets a lot of compliments from just about anyone, particularly a younger crowd. In fact I would recommend this to any young person as a good inexpensive starter fragrance, it has a very youthful energy about it, and I can see this really appealing even to the forty-somethings with a Peter Pan streak in them :) Thallium would likely be best for the colder nights of the year, due to the warm sensuous cloud it eventually becomes, but it just might do well as a cooler summer evening fragrance as well. This could go over very, very well as a date fragrance, as long as it is sprayed at least 20 minutes in advance of your meeting up, giving it time for that sweetness to tone down a notch or two. And I wouldn't be surprised to hear more about this one's effectiveness and would-be popularity in the clubbing scene. For the total romantic factor, it's 40% cuddly, and 60% grab-you-by-the-collar-come-here-right-now sexiness. For the low price of around $15 for 100 ml, this juice is an absolute steal! I think it does smell synthetic and a tad bit discount-store-cheap, but it is what it is... You get what you pay for, and More! It is long-lasting and keeps getting better and more seductive as it dries down further. The basenotes are just delicious, well blended! I give it a 9 out of 10, for what it is. Overall, I say if you can get past the sickly sweet opening, and if you like sensual amber and musk notes, you will enjoy this, probably a lot. If it weren't for the obnoxious sweetness in the opening, I'd give it a perfect score. For the price, its longevity and totally decent performance, and the awesomeness it evolves into, Thallium is worth having, whoever you are. And if you don't like it, you can always send it to me :)

I absolutely LOVE this stuff. I got it a few weeks ago and it's all I've worn since. I've passed up my more expensive bottles for this. I find this fragrance very comforting when I wear it. And I love the sweetness of it. GENERIC: Maybe as it's not gonna challenge your nose or anything. It's not a complicated scent by any means. SYNTHETIC: Make no mistake this is synthetic. Especially the opening. But when it dries down it loses that synthetic part. But I like the opening so it's not an issue for me. "OLD LADY SCENT": It has, at least on me, a floral powdery aspect to it, which I think is where this criticism stems from. I think some people associate that with the fragrances their grandmothers wear. But regardless I LOVE it. I like powdery scents if it isn't overdone and this one isn't. Also it's sweet without being too sweet. I don't get the fruity notes everyone else seems to get on the opening. I get a synthetic candy like blast that disappears within 15 mins or so. Then I get alot of powdery sweet floral notes. I do get a slight creamy vanilla note on the dry down also, altho I don't think it's listed as a note for this scent. And the dry down is the best part on me. I've went thru bottles and samples etc looking for something like this, thinking it would have to be an expensive scent but it isn't. And for the price you can't beat it. I will always keep this on hand as long as it's available to purchase. This is the best cheapie I have ever found so far. And I do think this could easily be a unisex scent as well.

Ok I'll make this short and sweet. This is the best BEST cheapie on the market. All you nautica voyage fans move over cause Thallium is the king of cheapies. I would buy this if it was 15 dollars or 50 dollars for that matter. A sharply fruity sweet opening QUICKLY dries down to a fresh and woody and florally musky base while keeping the sweet tones all the way through to the end. The overall impression I do get is a heavy sea - breeze type of scent that as one reviewer mentioned is noticed much more as you get whiffs of the frag coming off you or as you heat up. You can smell it close up and get a different impression which would make it smell much heavier and sweeter. Picture being by the ocean or even like a bay where there are flowers growing along with the fresh sea air and having a sweet fruity tropical drink in your hand and meshing those scents together with a touch of musk and you have thallium. I highly highly recommend this. The projection is great for the first 2 hours or so then sits closer to the skin which is ok with me. The longevity is solid....about 6-7 hours. Only one downfall is the atomizer. Could be a little stronger. But overall I give this 9 out of 10.......for the price and quality.

I feel like the specific blend of lavender and apple in the mid created a really nice, and not overly sweet, grape for me at first. The initial opening of citrus is short lived, but who cares. make more room for the dry down! It’s great, you want to a smell like this. You want to smell like this around someone with whom you may be attempting to break the friend zone barrier. Why? Well, it smells like you care about your appearance and the way others experience your company. A happy trigger finger may work in more of your favor when the weather is cooler. If you live where it’s pretty warm year-round, letting one or two sprays waft around you for the morning is going to have people notice. Maybe switch to something a little brighter as the day does so as well. Date night? Thallium. Meeting the girlfriend’s parents? Thallium (easy on the trigger👍🏻). Interview in an office setting? Thallium. Church? Thallium. You get it. Go buy this stuff and give it to your neighbor if your nose for some otherworldly reason can’t appreciate it. I just bought this fragrance for a ridiculous price (€13,00 for 100ml). What a precious gem it is. I really wonder why this frag it's not a lot more popular. I can only understand it because Yves de Sistelle is not a well known designer... It should be. Some very good reviews have been made in this page. I do not feel the need to repeat them. I just would like to state: - I love Eros and Thalium and really do not consider Thalium a clone of Eros or even similar. I do believe that Thalium was launched before Eros (I am not sure). - This is a super versatil and please everybody EDT. - The scent is unique. I do not know similar fragrances although it does make me remember faintly Au Masculin EDP by Lolita Lempika (another amazing fragrance). - Thalium is a newcomer to my 130+ shelf of perfumes. It is still a rookie but fighting his way to my top 10. This fragrance is so amazing that will get there in a couple of weeks. I don't get the "old lady smell" comments. When I wear this I get compliments from my niece and her friends (all in their 20's) and my wife and her friends (30's and 40's) love this on me. I think it's an supreme scent and works amazing in the summer. Sure there is some powder, but it's a fresh kind of powder in a sporty way with fruit and spice that is just done so good. Just 2 sprays to the back of my neck and 1 spray to my chest, and I'm good to go all day. The dry down at the 2 hour mark is even better. You can get this for about $20 (3.3oz) so the value is excellent. If you like Versace Eros and Joop Jump, this is worth a blind buy. If you dislike sweet scents, you'll probably want to avoid this one. Although it's not overly sweet, it's definitely sweeter than most male fragrances traditionally intend to be, although that is quickly changing in today's "unisex" market. Such an underrated gem! This was one of my first fragrances when I was in high school and my girlfriend at the time absolutely loved the scent, she would have me spray it on a shirt for her to smell when we weren't together, and when we were she just couldn't smell me enough times. it was like the early days of aromatherapy xD This and Abercrombie Fierce made what should have been years of awkward teen dating into a very fun time! It's versatile, works for dates the gym and office, lasts a very long time, and for 20$ a bottle how can you go wrong!? If you like Aventus, you will maybe even like Thallium better due to its performance being unmatched, it is like Aventus for people who don't care about brands and only want to smell great to the opposite sex. A more masculine, yet still sporty and fruity Aventus. So glad I recently found a 10+ year old bottle of it and it still blows me away how great it is!

I'm happy i traded for this. I like it, it's a cheap gem. Perfect for the fall, That granny smith & pineapple fusion. Man that alone got me. Got this from Fragrancex and shipped to the UK for £12.50 and that included shipping from the US to the UK. So no complaints on price. I read lots of reviews and thought I would blind buy it at this price and boy I am glad. I get what people say about it being synthetic and it's not super original, but I just cannot get enough of this scent. I totally adore it, and yet everything it comes back round to wear it again, I always forget just how much. I could wear this all the time. I can see how some people would not like this but something in this just flats my boat. It's a sweet Apple blast but oh how I love it. Projection and sillage is just average but I only go about 4 hours before I can't resist a top up. It's like catnip to me. Blind buy it at £12,you can always sell it on Ebay and make a profit in the UK, or at least get your money back, as it seems difficult to get here.

This for me is just ahead of Nautica Voyage as the best cheapie on the market. What you get with this is a sweet (but not sickly sweet) vibe with some fruity notes (but not too fruity) off the top. The blend is as such that it is somewhat difficult to pick out individual notes, but at the dry down this becomes seductive and creamy, somewhat resembling Allure Homme Sport. This is an all-seasons scent with great performance. For less than $20 it's hard to go wrong. Performance: 7.5/10 - this is not a beast, but performs well above average in any kind of weather Overall Scent: 8/10 - this is a youthful, playful fragrance that is still quite masculine. I routinely reach for this over many of my much more expensive fragrances. Unique and well-blended, it's a challenge to find a better scent at this price point.

This is most certainly an impressive fragrance. My favorite notes are the pineapple and amber accords in addition to the nice jasmine underlay. The only note I don't get is the musk..maybe because of the amber and jasmine which both have animalic qualities. There's also something aquatic and fresh about this fragrance, especially in the opening. Maybe it's the way the bergamont, green apple, and pineapple is blended together but it has an aquatic nuance to it that reminds me of AHS by Chanel. Also has a barbershop vibe to it. Mid notes are herbal and powdery yet I really don't get the base notes on this one outside of the patchouli. Even with this the way it blends into the mid seems to extend the mid as the base on my skin. Excellent fragrance, will definitely buy more bottles.

Honestly a really great fragrance that lasts a while and will radiate if you spray in the right spots. Inherited my first from my dad who had a small collection of colognes, and was happy to find out its still available. Very cheap and great for its value and definitely not as overpowering as the black one which I bought recently and wear. Before diving into colognes, this and an older Nautica voyage were in my weekly routine. I recommend this over something like JPG any day simply because of the price. It kind of reminds me of the feeling when wearing something like Penhaligon's Terrible Teddy although they have no resemblance in terms of smell.

This cologne is simply sweet. Nothing else really stands out, besides maybe the sweet apple notes and the jasmine; at least on my skin. The fragrances does not change much, but can come at you from different ways. This is a very very very sweet fragrance, so definitely smell before buying, it may be too sweet, as it resembles sugar. Obviously, this cologne is pretty cheap, or at least affordable. I recommend this cologne for winter. It reminds me of a candy apple in christmas. Longevity: 7 Lasts a very respectable amount of time Sillage: 6 Loud but dies later Smell: 5 Unique for sure but too sweet imo, very synthetic.

When I first got this scent years ago, I felt that the sales rep was pushing it on me. I instantly liked it. My concern was longevity. Needless to say, longevity complement factor was outstanding. It is so readily available I have not stocked back up on this one. I smelled a few wks ago and I am ordering it again;) It is not AS SWEET as everybody claims it is. It is sweet, but it is not sickening sweet. Fruits and notes are well blended. No need for a bunch of fragrance expert talk. It's a complement getter that last.

Thallium is a scent that was recommended to me by a female friend in my early college days. At this time I had owned other fragrances, but this was the first that literally had a female coworker on her first day on the job wanting to take my shirt home. A sweet green apple cologne that transitions while still maintaining a moderate sweetness into an almost aquatic, woodsy, floral scent. It's affordable at under $20, projects well for a couple hours, and ends as a skin scent at around the 7th hour mark. Overall: 9/10

I am female. My dad wore this fragrance and I loved it on him so much that when I was younger he gave me the bottle before he finished it. It is strong and projects well, especially for the price point. It has a freshness to it but it's not citrus-y or linen-y fresh. It smells manly like a cool-headed but interesting businessman. However, I think a woman could wear this if she was in a "masculine-like" boss mode. I love it and wear it myself sometimes ☺.

Ok, this on my skin is better than moderate on all accounts, it preforms well 6 to 8 hours and sillage is also 3 to 6 feet (depending on number of sprays) this has similar notes as Jaguar and Dunhill Desire. Those that get poor performance all I can say is either skin chemistry or you got ripped of by a fake....but who would clone a $20 fragrance? This has a mass appeal and could be an anytime anywhere fragrance reach.

I really enjoy the powdery, candy-like sweetness of thallium. I get offered this one all the time at the perfume store but turn it down because they overprice the hell out of this one. You can get it from 16-18 dollars on the internet. I plan on ordering it soon. It's worth it if you want a unique fragrance that everyone you know doesn't have.

Sweet pleasant not too sweet just the perfect touch. For the price you can’t go wrong. I carry a little sprayer with me and spray it on every so often. It’s not too strong or not too weak. Like that shirt or pants that fit just right. I recommend it it it’s convenient don’t pay more than 20 for it. It’s up there with my favorites

Yes Thallium is sweet, it's linear, it's synthetic. So what? It's also affordable, well-presented and offers a bright, cheerful blast of blue candy goodness, fresh at first then powdery - yummy all the way through. This fragrance belongs up there with Nautica Voyage as one of the all-time great cheapies.

A very good and long lasting EDT. For both a blue and cheap fragrance, the performance is good and it lasts long. Smells quite well and works any season. Smells very fresh, almost like a tropical sprite. Feels like Nautica Blue's more successful (but lesser know) cousin.

Easily my favorite men’s cologne. I wish I knew about this when I was dating my ex; I would have bought this for him for sure! It’s masculine without being too overwhelming; a great choice for any occasion.

I’m a bang for the buck kind of guy so I saw reviews on this and saw a fairly positive reaction so for $15 I decided to give it a try. All of the video reviews I saw compared this to a sort of candied apple, super sugary, and overall pleasant after the initial harsh dry down. Well, after trying this I hesitantly came to the conclusion after giving this every chance that this is actually terrible, at least to me. Thallium sometimes smells like an extremely powdery “old lady smell,” then the rest of the time it smells like an elementary school girl’s cotton candy squirt bottle perfume. The cotton candy smell wouldn’t actually be terrible, but it still retains its harshness from the initial opening. The sprayer is a little too frugal, needing about 3 sprays to equal 1 full spray from really good sprayers. This should be kept in mind when trying to apply as you should probably go 4 to 6 sprays with it if you actually want to smell like it. This gives decent projection and longevity. Honestly, I know there’s people that say there’s no such thing as feminine or masculine smells and it’s all marketing, but this is for a female, and a young one at that. And just to touch on this a little more, like I said, I'm a bang for the buck type of guy, under $25 is my desired price range with scents so I can have 3 cheaper options over 1 mid/high end scent. So, when I say these words I don't say it lightly. This is synthetic, and I don't mean it has its own unique pleasent smell that isn't identified by notes ("smells like MJ Legend" as opposed to "smells like coffee, anise, amber, etc.") The harshness that people tend to say goes away after ~15 minutes stick around the entirity of the time for me. And it is actually painful to smell. Final Verdict: Longevity: 8 Projection: 7 Smell: 4 I really wish it wasn’t so, but the harshness and extreme feminine qualities ruin this as the “men’s cologne” it’s presented as.

【2018 Thallium vs Jaguar Gold】 I'm writing this updated reviews for buyers who are curious between the fragrances. I receive a decant of Jaguar Gold from member LOCKON (Thank You). I spray Thallium on my left wrist, and J.Gold on my right wrist. Here is what happen: 【1st 30 Minutes】 Both have Strong Powerful Projection (easy on sprayer!) Both smell like Synthetic Fruity Syrup (thick & dense enough to cut through winter). Tallium has an obvious GRAPE SODA smell. Jaguar Gold smell like synthetic fruit, but I do not smell any Green Apple yet. They do smell very close to one another, like a fraternal TWINS to one another. 【1st 30 Minutes】 Both have strong projection. Thallium still smell like GRAPE SODA, and Apple makes its appearance in Jaguar Gold 【1 Hour Difference Appear】 Thallium stay Sweet Grape Soda, while Jaguar Gold take on a Apple Cinnamon Pie smell. There is no Cinnamon, but I smell somekind of Spice from Jaguar Gold. Both are projecting strong, quite amazing for under $16 cheapie. 【1 hour 30 minutes】 Thallium is now projecting weaker, with 1~2" projection from my skin. Jaguar Gold is still going strong, with 2~4" projection form my skin 【2 hours - Winner is show itself】 Thallium has collapsed into a skin scnet. Its still there if I dig my nose against my wrist Jaguar Gold still has a 1~2" projection from my skin (impressive) 【2 hours 30 minutes】 Thallium still has a Faint fruity sweetness left on my skin. Jaguar gold, on the other hand, still has 1" projection from my skin 【3 hours - Jaguar Gold wins hands down】 I struggle to smell Thallium now, but Jaguar Gold still have a 1/2" Spicy smell 【4hours - end of the test】 Thallium has disappear, while Jaguar Gold is still kicking as a Skin Scent. WINNER = JAGUAR GOLD. I own & loved my Thallium, but I admit defeat. JG is the new cheapie champ for Longevity Performance.

I bought my bottle used and when it arrived, the cap was broken off, but it was easily reattached, and it managed to spray itself a few times in shipping. Ironically, the dry sprays smelled awfully similar to what I'd been wearing all day - Versace Pour Homme! It's very similar to VPH, but a little sweeter, with a slightly more powdery and salty aspect. Salty, sweet, semi aquatic, powdery apple and musk notes, that pretty much sums it up. If you like VPH, you'll like this. The powdery sweet apple is also reminiscent of Versace Eros. If you like both VPH and Eros, you'll DEFINITELY love this! For a while now I've been struggling with finding something to wear at night after wearing VPH during the day, and this might just be it! UPDATE: I confirmed today, this scent goes very nicely between VPH and Eros. I wore VPH to work today, Thallium after work, and just applied Eros, and there is absolutely no clash between them after dry downs. The projection and longevity of this are just downright impressive for the price. Also - to anyone familiar with the sprayer on Paco Rabanne's Invictus, this has the same type of sprayer and even makes the same sound - "kosh"! Great sprayer! +1 for the bottle design, in spite of having to put mine back together. One thing's for sure, reviews for this one are all over the place. I say it's worth the risk. I really love it so far! If your a fan of Versace Pour Homme or Eros, you'll love this. The fact that it's so cheap doesn't hurt either!

I was able to smell Thallium at a mall kiosk and of course they were overpricing this baby, so I didn't buy it. But on my way home, I couldn't help but repeatedly smell my arm where the SA sprayed... it was amazing. I recently bought Thallium online and I'm so happy I did. I will say this, usually fragrances that are shipped takes a couple of wearings to get the notes to settle (or it's probably me familiarizing myself with the fragrance). When I first sprayed this, the candied fruit smell was a little too synthetic... I didn't like the musk in this either. But I decided to give it another try because it smelled so good at the mall. Now when I spray Thallium, I get the juicy, delicious red apple and pineapple candy smell. I don't get much woods in this fragrance. The initial blast is candied fruit, almost like skittles. The mid notes, I do get the floral notes accompanied by the candied fruit smell. With the basenotes, the florals and fruit are still present but musk is added to create a powdery aroma. I see this fragrance being quite unisex but it does smell good, projects, and lasts. For those that are into more natural smells, I don't think this would be for you because Thallium is synthetic. In fact, if you spray too much, Thallium starts to resemble the same synthetic quality that is present in One million (though they smell nothing alike). Overall, this is a recommended buy for those sweet fragrance lovers... a crowd pleaser too!

If you like sweet, confectionery, candy-like accords this one will suit you well. If not, you aren't going to like this, it has a very sooty, juicy pineapple note that dominates the top and then transitions into a Skittles and cotton candy vibe after 1-2 hours and doesn't develop much thereafter. Thallium is a popular favorite of younger women; especially early 20's and teens, who appreciate it for its close resemblance to some of their own favorite fragrances as teens. The pineapple here is very nicely done for how synthetic the whole composition is, it dominates the top along with the bergamot and in tandem with the amber you get a creamy, smoky citrus feel. After awhile the sour, tarty apple comes in and adds a layer of sweetness and apple pie like feel to the aroma but the amber and aromatics stick around into the dry-down and maintain a rather general candy feel not unlike Guess Seductive Homme but better blended and less imposing. A very decent bargain fragrance for the 40 and under crowd that is versatile enough to be worn at work or on the run, with reliable projection and solid longevity with just 3-4 sprays. I echo the sentiment of the reviewer below. Its all about how "well blended" the ingredients, oils, chemicals are and how "smooth" the end result is that makes a scent more natural smelling. I hate the way that synthetic word is used. If something doesn't agree with your nose, skin chemistry or its just a subjectively terrible fragrance for you then just say that. Thallium is another one that goes into the "always worked for me" category. Nowadays when I reach for it, its more or less grab and go situations, work or the gym. Its one about 4 or 5 cheapies that I'll probably always have a bottle of and it has a history of receiving positive attention not mention the memories attached to wearing it. I don't get the comparisons of Dunhill Desire. I used to adore that fragrance at its inception but these days not so much. Thallium to me has this nice balance of freshness and sweetness that sits in a grey area thats tolerable leaving it still masculine but not too playful. I also do get an ambery fougere element at times thought faintly I think its still there. Good juice indeed.

This used to be hyped back in the day. It probably still should be. 100ml for under $15?-20?. I am almost done with my second bottle of this. It’s my movie theater scent. I can’t really explain why, but that’s what the smell evokes for me. It’s been raining outside, you go to the theater, you sit down in a comfortable seat with various candy boxes, and you take in a good show while gorging in flickering darkness. Thallium is synthetically sweet. Almost a spa/shower vibe in the background. It feels wet and sweet to me. It is not like other “sweet” and more popular fragrances in the genre like Invictus or ysl Y. This may be hit or miss for people, not having as much mass appeal. But for the price, I keep it around. I enjoy it. I’d wear it before wearing invictus personally. And this thing performs really well.

Great bang for your buck fragrance. $20. Good performance, good scent, and garners compliments. However, it's a bit too sweet if you overspray it. It has a candy-like sweetness. My nose picks up fruity notes like citrus and apple, and sweet notes like honey and pineapple also. A bit synthetic, but not bad. If you really like sweet fragrances that last and perform well, give this a try. I like it, and the ladies like this one as well. Works best in the cooler weather. Too heavy for the summer and will be pretty cloying. I'll give it a 7/10. For the price, you can't go wrong with this. DO NOT overspray. You'll be choking people out. If you don't like sweet fragrances, give this a pass as this is very sweet.

I used to have Dunhill Desire when I lived in Mexico and this totally takes me back to those times. It’s a slightly fresh yet powdery cologne that smells quite nice. My wife really loves it. I was a little worried from the reviews here that this was going to be too sweet. It’s definitely sweet, but I would say it’s not quite to the level that I was worried it would be. It’s very wearable. I would go even as far as saying this is better than Dunhill Desire, which I wasn’t expecting. Am I blown away by this? No, but it’s more than worth the price and will certainly get you compliments. Remember to go fairly easy on the sprayer, though, because it can be pretty heavy if you’re not careful.

I really enjoy the fragrance on a basic level, but on my skin the sillage and longevity are next to nothing. Based on the rest of the reviews, I must have gotten the lemon of the batch, because it comes down to where I have to hold my hand to my nose to get even the slightest whiff of the scent. The vaguest essence of fruit is what is left after the dry down, and its not really identifiable as any one specific fruit, it's just fruity. Probably wont get it again, but I use it so rarely I'm sure the bottle will last me for years.

Very sweet & fresh cologne. Very candylike, fruit smelling. Could be unisex but still can be pull off being considered masculine. Love it, has got me nothing but compliments & girls go absolutely crazy over it because of it's very sweet candy aroma but doesn't get cloying or sickeningly sweet like overspraying other good colognes like MJ Legend, Rochas Man, Bond No 9 New Haarlem etc. Very fresh, sweet, candylike, & pleasant. Love it, great cheapie! Recommend on dates, close encounters.

It's cheap and I can't get enough. The top is good,. Sweet fruit. Then in the mid there are some slight floral tones in the background along with the fruit. In the dry-down into the base and for the remainder of the scent life, it becomes sweeter with the fruit less pronounced and creamy. Lovely. You can definitely say the top is more for the younger crowd, but when it drys down it becomes more mature while still holding onto the youthful vibe.

Despite the fact that Thallium is loaded with amber, I like it. In fact, I think the amber keeps it from being TOO sugary or candy-ish. (I generally hate amber, unless well-blended, which it is here.) It certainly seems to have its own personality. Does anybody else think it smells like Spicebomb? Surprisingly strong for a cheapie. If you get a chance to sniff Thallium, don’t pass it by.

#120 in my "Tour de Fragrance" of 250 scents in 250 days and another of the "30 under $30 I've gotten to try. definitely getting a full bottle of this yummy stuff. I already had Thallium Black and no idea why I didn't get some of this at the same time, but I'm correcting that right now!

I tried this Paris Bleu's Thallium, and I like it better than Jacques Evard' Thallium. Both have a lot of similar ingredients, but Paris Bleu is more pronounced and less candy-like than Jacques Evard's. By the way "Thallium" comes from the Greek word "Thallos", and means "green shoot".

Amazing cheapie! Longevity is wonderful and the scent is quite lovely. I’ll actually spray this on before going to bed. Waking up to the dry down is a great way to start a winters day.

hasn't grown on me yet.. smells good off the bottle till you spary it on you.. winter fragrance so i will wait till the cold weather comes in to try it...

SWEET COTTON CANDY Thallium is very potent & sweet, smells like cotton candy from the opening to dry, when it dries there's some musk and floralness in the background that adds some powderyness but it's very faint and overshadowed by the sweetness (don't detect any wood notes at all); definitely a unisex scent for colder weather, i could see young women liking and/or wearing this fragrance. Projection/Sillage is GREAT, definitely will get noticed inside or outside for the first 4-5 hours after that it still projects just not as loud but not necessarily quite either. Performance/Longevity is GREAT, on average 10-12 hours.

This one was a little too sweet for me. I think the pineapple notes are what's putting this one over the top and I can't quite pick out any other notes so it smells just like pineapple juice. It does remind me of Eros a little bit and that's not a good thing because I wasn't impressed with that one either. Performance was not that great as around the 2 hour mark it was all, but gone. I would really avoid this one in the spring or summer. I think it might be too much, but if you like sweet fragrances this one is for you
