Bouquet Ambré

I bought this perfume recently. I ordered other products from Yves Rocher and they sent me a tester from this perfume. I loved the smell, it reminds me of early 2000's, I don't know. I suppose there was something similar to it back then when all ladies were using perfumes from Avon and Oriflame. I am amazed by it. I like the opening. After just one hour of wearing it, the smell changes and it becomes even more pleasant. I just can't stop smelling it. It smells magical. I don't know how to describe it in other words. It is just MAGICAL to me. When I saw the notes, it says Iris, but I think I smell orchids. The dry down is complex, better than famous designer brands. The longevity and projection are moderate. I expected more, however I am satisfied. For something that smells so nice, I can accept the poor performance. On clothes it lasts longer, and the projection is a bit stronger.

Bouquet Ambré is one of the best fragrances Yves Rocher has released in recent years. It opens with bitter orange, warm and inviting, followed by a slightly powdery, floral, balsamic touch. I can’t really compare it to any other fragrance, and I find it quite original, yet there is still something about it that vaguely reminds me of the now-discontinued YSL Cinéma. It smells far more luxurious than its price would suggest.

What an elaborate composition, you are getting exceptional quality for reasonable price. It would be nice to have it in more luxurious bottle as this perfume deserves it. It is a true gem from Yves Rocher. For me it is first orange with creamy iris (not dry powder) and later very delicate sweet incense with jasmine. I have bought 30 ml bottle and will repurchase for sure again.

What a beautiful surprise ! I loved so much Rose oud from this brand and this one is really familiar. A beautiful bouquet deep and intense. Hopefully there is nothing sugary in it, so well blended! Its very niche in a good way, love it!! The jasmine and the iris are beautiful and the bitter orange exquisite!!

For sure this perfume has inherited the DNA from her parents, the nose of the Montblanc Signature and the nose of Paradoxe and Idole. This is her, the child of those perfumes I have mentioned. The performances are great. She has longevity and sillage for sure.

Beautiful, clean, light and airy -but also weak and fleeting. I was kind of expecting Voile d'Ambre 2.0 but this is very different. It's hard to accept that it seems the powerhouse days are gone forever.

A better version of Cuir de nuit. The exact same base (which kind of annoys me. There is a kind of odd, unnatural aromachemical in there, kind of like vanilla but still not) with a different, more pleasant heart and top. More fruity/floral than CdN, more interesting and layered. Lasts all day and projects well.

OMG, , this has no resemblance to either Alien or Voile d Ambre! Actually, Bouquet Ambree does not have amber. It is built on the triplet iris - bitter orange - incense. Amber is just a ghostly accord resulting from the combination of orange and incense. The incense here is balsamic but not smoky. Overall, it is not bad at all, and I would even dare to say that after the dramatic discontinuations from Yves Rocher, this would be the best release. An 8 out of 10 and if it is still on offer ...

As someone who dislikes generic sweet scents, this was a complete surprise. It settles into a smooth sweetness with a touch of spice from the incense, while the bitter orange balances it elegantly. It doesn’t smell like anything else to me but itself. I rarely fall in love at first sniff (especially with a stronger perfume) A hidden gem 🙃 And no headache either.

I think it has a resemblance to Cuir de nuit. I have them both and when I smelled them up close, I sensed the same powdery, barbershop note. I like it, though the sales representative who sold me the bottle said it is a very strong perfume. But unfortunately, it is not. It quickly becomes a skin scent.
