Comme une Evidence L'Eau de Parfum Intense

I love the original version of this, it's a classic. But I was kind of tired of all the different versions of the same scent. When L'eau de parfum intense came out I was doubtful but curious enough to order it blindly. Compared to the musky, airy original with lily of the valley in the focus, this version is definitely rosier and woodsier. The note which is listed as "white woods" in the pyramid smells more like rosewood to me, which I usually recognise and appreciate in fragrances. The marriage of rose and wood is perfect. Another note that sticks out to me is chocolate, but not as obvious as the cocoa note in Cocoon, and definitely not the milky vanilla type found in many fragrances with "choco" in their name, which might be disappointing to some. But the note is still apparent to me. It's like the smell of pralines that hits me when I remove the cellophane wrap from the praline box, but before opening the box. It makes me weak and gives me cravings. This note goes so well with woods and rose. Like the original, this scent also contains that airiness and transparency which makes it seem so effortless yet chic. Although not an obvious gourmand, I would recommend it to the gourmand fans who want to try something a bit different from their usual scent palate, but still not too far from it.

I have to admit that I was sceptic about this flanker at first because I really loved the very first edition of Comme Une Evidence which was an eau de parfum. But then they changed the formulation into L'eau de parfum and added another L'eau flanker. Not to talk about their limited editions (however, that's just the packaging). I don't really enjoy the L'eau de parfum. It smells similar to the first edition, but yet they changed something and by doing that they took away what made this perfume smell so good! Also the first edition lasted all day with a lovely sillage, but the L'eau lacks both. Today I did try the L'eau Intense Version on my skin and I actually must say that I do like this one. I can definitely smell the pralines in this melting together with the rose. I must be one of the lucky ones, since most people claim they cannot smell the pralines. I really do smell it! It sweetens up the rose nicely, and adds a creamy texture, but it still remains it's floral freshness and elegance. I might revisit Comme Une Evidence again and when I do, it will be this version.

I smelled this while browsing the shop with my friend. Instant connection. They coincidentally had it on sale for 40% off, I bought it on the spot for approximately 20 something euros. I love love love this scent, so clean, so grown up like, but not in an Guerlain ma petite robe noir kind of way, more in an MCM or Hugo Alive way. This can be worn at the office for sure, but also as an everyday scent, maybe even as a signature scent. I could also see a mom def wearing it, it has such a kind aura to it. It was such an incredible surprise because I don’t like the original version and I just tried this one on a piece of paper while passing time, turns out I was not about to leave empty handed. It lasts on clothes better than on skin, but I don’t mind overspraying. I am overall very pleased with it. I was not expecting this from Yves Rocher, but I am glad I gave it a try.

Mmmmmm, I love this version of CUE! It opens kind of sweetish; the praline note is initially the strongest, but then it subsides to make way for a nice greenish-powdery blend of rose and jasmine. The final stage of the development is reserved for a gorgeous white woods note - I'm guessing that it's the same molecule that simulates the 'birch tree' scent in Nasomatto Blamage. That drydown alone is totally worth the price - it's sooo beautiful and calming. This scent lasts about 4-5 hours and projects moderately; it's a great everyday scent, totally office-friendly and won't offend any sensitive noses. Highly recommended!

I got sample of CuE L ́Eau de Parfum in my order and fell in love... and made another order. :) Later on, I had a chance to visit YR shop and try this "Intense" version. It is so much better! I will definitely buy this one in the future. I can smell pralines, but the scent is not sickly sweet, it is still elegant, sophisticated and in some way unique. Lot of "non-niche" scents have "dupe" or even "twin" scent, but I have not smelled scent similar to Comme un Evidence line. Annick Menardo is tallented nose.

On paper, the praline note is non-existent for me... It needs to be tested on skin. It reminds me a lot of the EDP "Comme une évidence" but sweeter, which I appreciate especially in cold weather! It is my favorite flanker of the whole "Comme une évidence" range. The longevity is very good, the projection is average (like all YR perfumes), and it's therefore perfect for work! 8/10

oh no... say it isn't so?! Another Comme une Evidence version? They took out Comme une Evidence eau de parfum and came with L'eau de parfum and now bring L'eau de parfum Intense? Doesn't make sense. They should have stayed with 1 or 2 versions, where's the need to keep making lighter (and 'so called' Intense) versions? When does it stop?

Comme une évidence intense is perfect for fall or winter. I can detect rose and fruits, but in a very mature and modern way ! I wore this perfume when I was at the university, when I had no money. Now Yves Rocher prices are so high that I consider it now as an expensive perfume....:)

Rose, rose, only rose. Boring and disappointing. Where is the praline ? Yes, it's fresh, delicate, feminine but nothing special. I love the Comme une Evidence collection but I would have prefer something sweeter. Im waiting for Comme une Evidence Praline Intense ;)

It is identical with Blanc de Paris by Scent of Canvas. It's lovely, a hologram of white flowers with a hint of rose. It also stays true to its intense name, as longevity is there. Affordable and spring friendly, on my radar!

An affordable "signature" scent for me. Feels very feminine and girly. It stays longer on the skin when compared to the not-"Intense" version of Evidence. I will definitely repurchase it after I finish my first bottle.

Rose and praline in perfect combination. One of Yves Rocher's finest offerings, no doubt. If you love rose and sweet stuff, don't let this one pass. That'd be criminal.

Notes via YR: Damask rose oil, Jasmin Grandiflorum Sunny accords (?) white woods praline. Please-better research before put out the news!

Its sweeter than the EDP ,Its my signature perfume, I love it very much , long lasting and sillage is good , smell rich but fun

A creamier, sweeter version of the original. I love it and wish I knew about it sooner. Floral, fresh praline for adults.

My favourite fragrance from Yves Rocher. A more sensual version of Comme Une Evidence, because of the honey and the praline, it reminds me a little bit of the Chipie fragrance of the 90's, but I loved that scent a lot more, because it was more outspoken. This scent is a lot more mature and flowery though. I really love rosescents, so that makes this scent a winner for me. I like the rose in this better than the rose in the original CUE. The original CUE is a cool chypre fragrance, while this is a warm flowery scent. In general I find the scents of Yves Rocher very middle of the road, they lack the guts to be outspoken, this scent is more outspoken though. In fact, my friend who really only likes soft boring perfumes like CKin2U, that I don't even notice on her, thinks that this scent is too heavy. But then again, she is pregnant right now, so her smell is hightened, maybe she will like it after the baby is born. Fortunately I really do pick up on the praline note and that is really a welcome addition to this scent. Just like the original CUE, CUEI reminds me of Pleasures, but this one even more. I still love Pleasures a lot better. Allthough Pleasures isn't sensual and this scent is, Pleasures immediately lights up my mood, while this scent doesn't. I have received a lot of compliments when I wore Pleasures and never got a single compliment when I wore a scent by Yves Rocher. Of course, YR is a lot cheaper, but since I have more than enough fragrances at the moment, I decided to buy no more Yves Rocher scents, because I honestly rather wear one of my other scents, but now I am pushing myself to also wear YR, because I got it. I like my scents of YR, but I love my scents made by Estee Lauder, Chanel, Lancome etc. and even the advantegeous ID Parfums etc. EDIT: I started experimenting with layering and I layered this fragrance with Siam Flamboyant, one of my favourites at this moment. I thought that the addition of vanilla, white pepper, benzoine, mandarin orange, frangipani and orange flower could work, and yes it did. This fragrance is delicious combined with Siam Flamboyant.

I received a bottle of this perfume as a birthday gift with my order and I'm having a love-hate realtionship with it. Upon first spray, I love it. It is flowery and gourmand, all at the same time. It's like somebody dipped a bunch of roses in a milky chocolate glaze - which, I admit, might sound weird, but it works. It is sweet and floral and non-offensive, but still able to make a statement. But then it dries down, and my relationship with this perfume slowly turns to hate. It remains fairly sweet (not cloyingly sweet though), but it has the same grandma-closet smell that bothers me in Anais Anais (another perfume that thrilled me when I first sprayed it upon my wrist, only to be massively disappointed a few minutes later). And while I love jasmine, I can say that I would've prefered this perfume without it. The jasmine in Comme une Evidence Intense is dry and reminiscent of the mothballs in my grandma's closet. I could've loved this perfume, but it wasn't meant to be. The first few minutes of pure bliss are not worth the disappointing dry down. The sillage is moderate to heavy in my case, and the longevity is really good. On my skin, this perfume lasts about 8 hours, although as time goes by, it becomes more of a skin scent. This perfume might work for some, but definetely not for me. Later edit: For some reason, I woke up one day reaching for this unused bottle in my collection. I don't know why and how, but the mothball drydown I was describing earlier is gone. I am left with lovely roses and milky praline and I couldn't be happier. My once unused bottle is now used at least three times a week. I use it when I want to feel like a lady, but also when I go to sleep and need a comforting scent. Later edit number 2: Two months later and I'm back to mothball drydown, how lovely! This perfume confuses me like no other.

Today I received my own very first YR perfume! My mother-in-law always wore YR and through her I had already been introduced to different scents in the past and when I did a spray today, I immediately got the YR vibes! That fresh, fairy, almost unreal deliciousness! Somehow, YR has its own unique DNA, which you'll only find in their products. Where I almost always give up with the big brands, because the compositions are too loud and combinations of notes too strange, YR seems to be able to come up with a perfect blend, which smells like it really comes from nature. Is it interesting, fascinating? No, not necessarily, but elegant, not intrusive and somehow quite authentic to the ingredients. Lots of very sweet delicious rose and when you don't pay too much attention to it, it seems edible as schwartzwalder kirschtorte. Jasmine subtly adds some intoxication. Wood is mainly perceived in the dry down and then makes it a tad masculine. I bought this perfume because I am quite charmed by Idole, also a strong rose and jasmine, but with more interesting additions such as cedar, pepper, patchouli and musk. I do miss something here with Comme une evidence intense. Maybe a little lavender, a little vanilla like with Mon Guerlain? Just a little extra, but for this price I don't mind smelling a little less complex during the week. The bottle also looks elegant, nice solid glass with a (in the new version) decorated back of a kind of waves or waving grass. A nice sturdy cap and very nice atomizer! YR does this really well!

This is a slightly heavier version of the original Evidence. I’ve bought it more than once and finished the bottles, which already says a lot. Compared to the original, which I see more as a spring and summer scent, this one feels more versatile and can be worn all year round, including autumn and winter. It’s a very safe, feminine, and elegant perfume. Nothing groundbreaking, but very easy to wear. Since I love florals, this is one of the florals I genuinely enjoy. The projection is nice, although I don’t find it as long-lasting as the original Evidence, and that’s okay for me. If I come across a good deal, I would definitely repurchase it

I got a 50ml bottle as a gift with a YR order. Turns out this was the best thing in my order! To my nose this starts off sweet but fresh, then settles down to a woody, rose scent. There's something about this fragrance and the numerous versions before, that smells very 'French' to me. It just reminds me of when I last went to Paris and visited relatives in France, its just got that smell. The lasting power is poor and there's literally zero silage, but I can't complain since it was free. Edit 07/07/20 I much prefer this to the original CUE, which just doesn't smell as nice on my skin.

It's actually a very ordinary scent, but on the other hand it's so relaxing and sensual that I can't stop reaching for it. Floral and woody, Clean, slightly sweet, comforting as if a woman you love and trust, a mother, a sister or a best friend is with you. It lasts for 24 hours, especially on clothes. The scent I sprayed yesterday is still on my t-shirt. Yves Rocher's perfumes are a good affordable option for me. Because the brands like Avon and Zara are not good for my allergic asthma, but I have never had such a problem with Yves Rocher. I’ll buy this fragrance again and again.

This is a way better version than the original Evidence. It's out here again in the stores. The rose notes mix nicely with Jasmine and praline. It has the gourmand feeling to it without beeing too sweet or girlish. It's still elegant and grown up but yummy too. I'm interested in buying it.

There is indeed a praline note in this but it is far from sickly sweet, it is actually quite subtle. Compared to the original this one is lighter, "younger" if you will. I don't care that much for either of them, but they're alright.

Really nice, but is not really in the spirit of the original Comme une Evidence . It's all about the rose ! I have the feeling that the "Intense" is just to seem trendy , as there is many "intense" flankers nowadays . Nice though.

Sweet and airy. makes me feel so fresh and light when I wear it. The longevity is average but the sillage is good. Very feminine and sweet. This eau intence smells better than the regular one and lasts longer.

This perfume is fresh. It's a top up for me in the office, I spray it ahead of meetings and always her compliments whenever I have it on. It usually smells natural and not too clogging. Every lady should have.

I bought this cheap online and I like it. It’s not world shattering but it’s pleasant and safe to wear on all occasions. Fortunately I don’t smell any praline at all as I hate it.

Just tested my new CUE Intense for the first time. Just like many other YR perfumes this brings me instantly back to my childhood. In a good way. Very comforting, clean yet a bit sweet rose scent. This is basically just how a rose scent should smell like: not too green, not too sharp, not too musky, just lovely. The rose is the main thing but at first there is some praline sweetness that dries down to powdery comfort, a bit of jasmine, a bit of white woody. Smells classy and expensive. Definitely like a lot.

I put this on in a rush while preparing to leave my mom's house. It's not a bad perfume, but all I smell is rose / ambiguous florals. The rose note leans more old lady than princess, and I get no gourmand sweetness at all. It's decently longlasting and intense for an Yves Rocher perfume, but I wouldn't buy this for myself.

I don't like the original Evidence, but after reading the reviews I still wanted to try the Intense version. Unfortunately they smell very similar to me - very floral, clean, screechy, sour, strong and cheap. There are a lot of YR fragrances that I find quite classy for their price, but this is not one of them. It has the aggressive freshness of some shower gel or cleaning product. The praline isn't noticeable at all on my skin, instead there is the bold lily of the valley from the original and some soapy rose. As it dries down it gets a bit softer and more rosy, and less cheap smelling, but still quite soapy and cold. Lovers of the Evidence line and of soapy florals in general should like this, but if you rather like sweet and warm scents, beware - better try it out in a YR store and not blind order it.

noap. i adore the original version. i've gotten more compliments on that fragrance than any other i've ever worn. this? this may as well be a celeb-face-endorsed drugstore scent. it is in no way anything to do with Comme une Evidence. this is nothing special. it's slightly powdery, vaguely nonoffensive, somewhat fruity-floral. might make a good shampoo scent, but after today i never want to wear this perfume again. the nicest thing i can say about it, is that the final drydown does remind me, oddly, of Prada's Infusion d'Iris. but it isn't worth the first couple of hours to get there.

So disappointed with this perfume. I am a huge fan of the original Comme une Evidence and have been repurchasing it for over 10 years now. This one was on my wishlist since it came out, and I finally placed an online order. Upon spraying, it smells like rubbing alcohol, and once it dries on the skin I get absolutely nothing. There is a veeery faint indescript floral scent when spraying on paper, but it's gone in half an hour. Such a shame.

I usually don't buy Yves Rocher fragrances, just that there are better ones out there, I got Comme une evidence Intense with 50% off. So under $30, it is a nice floral, with a hint of sweetness, it is nice, but nothing more than nice..I might keep it, or send it to my mom.. If you don't like florals, don't get it, it would get a bit sharp if you overspray also.. Nothing bad to say about it really!! Nothing exciting either!!

I recently tested this fragrance, being eager to like it since the previous versions of "Comme une evidence" smelled fine to me, but I could not help disliking it. The rose note is overwhelming and sinks in a soapy sweet odour that is hardly pleasant. To me it smells, on the whole, like a rose-soap kept for some time in a confectionery-box.

smells childish on me, probably because i used to be obsessed with perfumes with strong floral (roses in particular) notes back in middle school but yeah...It's also kind of headache inducing. not a fan

The first spray, I thought it smelled amazing. As I keep using it, the smell isn't special anymore and it gives me a headache.

my first and last blind buy. smells incredibly cheap and nauseating at first: sugary alcoholic mess. in 20 minutes or so, the sugar thankfully lifts up the tiniest bit, only to morph into a disgusting sugary-floral vomit. i don’t know if it’s overblended or just simply lacks depth, but i’m literally embarassed to wear this out. unfortunately i’m spraying it on myself like a body mist so i can finish it as quickly as possible and never have to wear it again. thankfully, the sillage sucks. it’s fairly long lasting though.

I couldn't wear Comme une Évidence as I found it to be simply too strong and in a way far too similar to Pleasures by Estée Lauder, which I wore when I was younger and would like to keep my memories associated with it unblemished. Plus it really doesn't suit my taste these days. But this version is just right for me. In the air around me I get a far softer, much sweeter version of the original Comme une Évidence, with a highlight on a sugary rose. I get all of the sweetness of the lily of the valley without any of the "meatiness" I get from lily of the valley when it's in a scent without any rose. (Lily of the valley in a scent without rose just smells terrible on me!) There's a crispness to this, like in the original Comme une Évidence, but the praline balances it all out so well, and the notes are so much softer than in the original. This one's really enjoyable to wear and not at all overpowering, raising the question "how on earth is this considered an intense version?" But this does project well and actually seems to get stronger the longer I'm wearing it, though the lasting power falls short. The praline was extremely strong at first (especially so when sniffing my wrist directly), but I personally never understand why the note is called "praline", because praline in a scent always smells like spun sugar, like cotton candy, not at all what I associate with praline. The praline here is accompanied by a vague hint of strawberry, but these notes ease off around half an hour in and the rose takes center stage with jasmine adding a lovely powderiness that softens the crisp (almost green apple) edge. The dustiness of the jasmine is subtle, but it adds a bit of elegance and refinement to the scent, making it seem more mature to me; which I really like. I might even sense a touch of sharp orchid, but maybe this is an illusion created by the wood notes? Or it could be tuberose? Or possible violet leaf? I'm really not sure and can't discern.(Can anybody here help me nail this one? What's that note?) Once the praline and rose eventually both drop to the background, there's a lovely green note there, like fresh buds or leaves. Then more lily of the valley creeps in - very well balanced with what seems to be a floral, non-gourmand, vanilla. This is beautifully done and is my idea of a sophisticated floral, perfect for the Springtime and Summers in England, and it's SO MUCH CHEAPER than Estée Lauder's Pleasures! A real beauty at a bargain price. Not the most unique scent on the market, but this is a classic style that never ages. I'd say that it's marketed for those in their mid-twenties and upwards. After around 3 hours it dries down to a woody, soft floral, which somehow reminds me of the older, pre-reformulation version of Anais Anais. At this point the perfume is also not so far detached from the original Comme une Évidence. Lasts, all in all, for around 5 hours on my skin.

I have tried to like the original, but I somehow find it too screechy and sharp. It is all synthetic sharp lily of the valley on me. Therefore I was hesitant with this one, as I assumed it would be pretty much the same. With the Intense-name maybe more patchouli and/or rose. I could't be more wrong! Oddly enough this is much more light and fresh, and more sweet, in a sugary almost gourmand kinda way. The praliné is very prominent on me, dries down to be a sugary rose, almost Middle Eastern sugar rose candy . I usually don't like classic rose fragrances as they often get a bit too old-soap/wet garden for my personal taste. But as soon as they are mixed up with something gourmand, such as praliné in this case, it instantly transforms into something I love. Had the same feeling about Kim Kardashian 'Fleur Fatale' and Nina Ricci 'L'extase' In humid, cold weather it turns more powdery - like a fabulous, vintage rosey powder from the 50's with a huge puff. I really like it a lot, I think it is a beautiful fragrance with several facets, great lasting power and great projection. The price is amazing - totally affordable! In my opinion this could easily pass for being from a much more expensive brand, for instance one of the Guerlain Aqua Allegoria's , or a spring fragrance from Issey Miyake or Narciso Rodriguez. Bottle is pretty, maybe a bit plain and simple, but suits the fragrance great. Well done, Yves Rocher :)

I adore combinations of rose and jasmine. I can detect both the rose and jasmine notes, and it gives off a warmer vibe, likely due to the praline and woods in the mix. Having way too many perfume bottles, I often forget to wear this one. So when my friend mentioned he liked it on his skin, I don't know why, but I gave it to him. A few months later, I bumped into him and he's rocking that perfume. I had a thought like, "Man, I must have been foolish to give it away." I tried to buy it again, but it was sold out in several YR stores here in Indonesia. Eventually, after a few more months, it got restocked and I bought it again. On my skin and nose, I pick up the rose scent, and there's a sweet note that kind of smells like honey. I reckon it's the combo of rose and praline creating that vibe. But then, there's this powdery rose element that shifts into a sort of soapy scent. Oddly enough, I'm into it, even though its performance isn't great on me, I'll definitely still buy this, but I guess I'll just have to keep reapplying it due to its weak performance on me.

I've never tried the original version, and I received this intense version for free directly from Yves rocher's website. I really like it, but it is not an unique scent. It reminds me of some Lancome perfume that my mother use, but not in a bad way. I really like the first moment I sprayed it, the fresh rose smell is quite obvious and the praline is strong. When it dries down, it still has the sweet smell but not overwhelming (which I like) and you can definitely smell both the rose and praline and a hint of jasmine, then wood after. I personally love the smell when it has dried down since I like both sweet, a little bit earthy and some smell of spice, and this perfume has a good balance of that. I already received a compliment from my date about the smell, so I guess it is a good sign. As this version is intense, I think both the sillage and longevity is quite decent. It also lingers on my fabrics quite well, so I might consider to purchase it in the future. Really can't complain much since I got this for free.

Such an unknown beauty. Gorgeous rose and jasmine scent. I love that real oils are used instead of synthetics. It reminds me of a spring wedding or a garden party. It's a bouquet of floral beauty. It's not super delicate, but super feminine. Not headache inducing by any means. It's almost addicting, I can't stop smelling it. Such an uplifting and refreshing floral scent. This scent proves you do not have to spend a ton of money to have a quality perfume. My bottle is from 2017. Im sure since natural oils are being used, there will be variations by batches. I hate praline in fragrances. There is such a minimal amount in this and its very well blended. Not a gourmand scent by any means. This really is so simple but so spectacular. Love it 🩷. Worth every penny if you love roses and jasmine!

I don't like and don't dislike this one. It's just another smell around, so similar to many other sugary florals. Original Comme une Evidence smells better to me. This one is yet another flanker that *had* to be put on market. It's more concentrated than original one, surely stronger, but also painfully sugary sweet as if they took Comme une evidence and decided to put some candy floss inside to be more into the trend of these years. The floral soul fight to come out, while the candy floss keep it down. Once there was beautiful YR Rose Absolue that was a great rose scent with a sweet edge, properly blended and better quality IMO. Now this Comme une Evidence Intense is probably trying to mimic that luscious perfume without achieving it.

On me, this is basically just rose. I do like rose fragrances, but I would have preferred a headier, deeper rose. This is very light and fresh. If I really strain my nose I smell some jasmine in there as well, but the rose really is the main note. I do not smell any woods or praline at all ( and I would have loved a sugared rose fragrance - I really would!). To me, this fragrance smells really innocent, fresh and romantic. It's nice, just not my cup of tea. The 'intense' in the name gave me the impression that it would be a different kind of fragrance. It doesn't have much sillage and the staying power isn't great, a couple of hour only on my skin.

My nose must be broken, i really hardly smell anything at all. Update: i still dont really smell much with this. Im wondering if warmer temps will bring out the notes. Final Update: i fell in not love but a really strong LIKE with this over the winter. Not sure why or how but one day i could smell it and it smelled great! I think covid did a number on my sense of smell and sometimes i just cant smell much, even if i just have a tiny bit of congestion. Ive had compliments on this one several times, when someone gave me a hug. This is definitely sweeter and thicker than the other evidence versions, i get pretty good longevity from it too.

Being our first day together, i had some expectations. My "Comme une Evidence" experiences and perception of the perfume has developed in time, since april 2013. It will never be "me", but it's one well made perfume and probably the most long lasting in YR collection. Chapeau! Now, getting back at "L'eau de Perfume Intense"... half the longevity, timid sillage, somehow rounder, more discreet and slightly sweeter. No praline note, regrettable. I'll love it as much as it will last, my mini bottle. Yves Rocher stole my heart with "Vanille Noir" and "Neroli".
