Fraicheur Vegetale de Chevrefeuille

A real tribute to mediterranean honeysuckle - Lonicera Periclymenum - , sparkling citrusy and green in the opening, then it fixes on skin with a clear soapy undertone that I find lovely and that makes the fragrance stay longer than you would expect from an eau de cologne. In fact, what convinced me to buy is the good lasting power when I first tried it from a tester, adding the appealing price tag. It's very and instantly refreshing, good for hottest summer days like these, I rember other notes listed along with the honeysuckle, such as green tea, bergamot and bamboo, that I cannot cleary detect , but I guess they give this EDC its refreshing quality. Bought last month, the bottle is almost half empty because it demands to be sprayed generously when you're hot, and my skin likes to drink it! Complimented by friends and "stolen" from my mother too, it lasts easily six hours on skin, until next day on clothes. Plus, mosquitos seem to hate it! Recommended if you want a soapy green floral for summer, and sure, if you love the romantic smell of wild honeysuckle, which symbolizes Love Bond.

I love love Honeysuckle as a plant, and I love - love this fresh cologne variation of it - in this fragrance! Fresh blossom of summer, refreshing and makes you dive into burst of green yellowish waterfall of water, flowers, green leaves, citruses with awaking power. It makes you jump into happiness of fragrance, shining of the Sun, water and flowers. The trouble is it is not everytime available as Yves Rocher changes offers and sometimes it is out of stock or could become discontinued. I finished my first bottle very quickly as you can walk in sunshine and spray it on your body for refreshing feeling. It is really must have for spring and summer, but could be wear for any time as it is great and refreshing. For boys and girls to share happiness and joy of life:)

This is the first perfume I ever owned. My mom would order cosmetics from Yves Rocher's catalog, and this is something she ordered but didn't end up liking. 10-year-old me was delighted to take this perfume off her hands. I still remember the scent so clearly. It was a fresh, bright, and green scent. It smelled so light and clean - like what you might smell after a springtime rain shower with the faint scent of freshly blossomed plants wafting into the air. I think it's a great all-ages, all-genders type of scent. Just clean, fresh, and invigorating, and makes you feel like an elevated version of yourself.

The great thing about Yves Rocher is that they are masters in natural products. Also this perfume. Its simple and just what it says. I use it in autumn and winter. Its fresh and powdery. You feel the power of the sun in it. It has the smell of honeysuckle in the warm summer eveining when this plant smells at its top. It gives you good clean feeling. Again a great and natural perfume from YR.

One of my first fragrances. Impossible to find anymore. I keep the nostalgia of the clean fresh rainy scent, pure, green and uncomplicated. If dew had a smell, this would be this one. The new bottles of YR nowadays don’t have the same natural transparency. I miss it.

Lovely clean and fresh scent! This will do when you don't want to really wear a perfume but still want to smell good. Perfect for spring/summer!

That was just like how I expected, a true green chevrefuille scent but opposite my best friend and mom's using with pleasure,sadly it didn't work with my chemistry, turned to a sour bitter mutant scent...

Sharp, green, dry and soapy; no sweetness. Not horrible, but not how I envision honeysuckle - just didn't work for me. Good hot summer scent.

I now know that this is an EDC but I can barely smell it and then that's gone within minutes. What's the point of such a fragrance?

There are times when I want to feel just lightly spritzed. It may involve some intimacy or dancing which will leave me hot and lightly, positively sweaty. So when a perfume with a capital "P" is just too much, that's the way to go. Chevrefeuille is soft, sweet and still feminine. For a cologne spritz, longevity is very good, and the sillage is just soft and very moderate. Somebody should come a bit close to smell you and this will be a light whiff. Despite so, I don't recommend applying repetitively, since it gets very sweet and cloying in a slightly flowery way then. Not the purpose I'd use it for... This scent is also a big hit with its affordability and simple, big bottle.

I find it very sweet and I usually don't like sweet smells. But I gave it a chance and I think it's a lovely perfume. In fact, it reminds me of Diorissimo, in a way, which is my signature and my all time classic love.

I love this smell and I love the smell of honeysuckle. It lasts all day and has a neutrality about it but definitely on the crispy side. I can't find it anymore, like so many Yves Rocher fragrances.

I just found a bottle of this at Value Village, full, and in pristine condition.. for 7 dollars, an excellent find. I also like it very much and will enjoy it over the summer.

Fraicheur Vegetale de Chevrefeuille is the most wearable one out of three scents from Fraicheur Vegetale collection that I have tested. But it's still too green for my taste.

I recently bought a bottle. Used it regularly smne 30 years ago. Now it seems a different formula and its lasting power seems even less. I use it when I go to the gym.

I rocked this in the year 2000. It was a mix of green tea and lily of the valley on my skin. so fresh in the summer heat, it even had a cooling effect.

Not a sweet honeysuckle of the SE N. America. Dries down very dry and soapy.
