Vanille Bourbon

i actually like this quite a lot. it is not complex, rather on a simple side, but very lovely vanilla scent. vanilla scent that is not flowery. i have recently found out (after avoiding vanilla for 10+years) that i actually may enjoy vanilla scents when they are not flowery. all those years i assumed i dislike vanilla because it was so so sweet, it happens i dislike it only in combination with flowers, but dont mind that much when it is more on a gourmand side. this scent is simple vanilla scents, i bought it originally to use for sleep, i do enjoy soft vanilla scent for bed and love soft vanilla smell when i wake up. this is not very long lasting, 2-3 hours at daytime, though i smell it in the mornings after night, but not much longevity for daytime use. i dont mind it, since i enjoy scents with short longevity, i do love my scents to fade away so that doesnt bother me at all. i was not expecting to like it so much to use for daytime, but i do enojy it quite a lot. and since it is so shortlasting and soft, it is well suite for office and for gym as well. it does remind me Bare Vanilla from Victoria Secret, that my daughter loves and uses. of those two i would probably prefer Bare Vanilla, but that is "my daughters own" perfume, so i keep my hands away from it. Vanille Bourbon is shy vanilla, i do not perceive it as powdery, but it has some freshness and slight cocoa smell, not dark cocoa but milky sweet cocoa powder that we use making hot chocolate from. anyway, good scent if you enjoy skin scents, if you love strong perfumes - not for you.

My best friend put me on this body mist and changed my life. This vanilla smells so bougie, delicious and wonderful. For the price is the best thing ever and i really like how it works as a hair perfume, it leaves my hair smelling like fancy vanilla ice cream. I will try many other body mists but eventually i know i will come back for this one. Also ive gotten compliments just on it without any perfume pairing, its really amazing but watch out when u go to the store because THEY WILL try to convince you to join the yves rocher client list AND will send you physical spam mail. Like mail.

This is an uncomplicated non sweet, non gourmand vanilla with some woody, warm undertones. (I love the whole line in this, including the shower gel, hand cream & body lotion. ) It's a great everyday scent & I believe runs unisex. The only issue is it's complete lack of longevity or silage, which makes the enjoyment of wearing it short lived. Regular reapplication is necessary.But as a happy-making, uncomplicated & non headache inducing quality spray, it's just lovely to wear, makes me happy and offers a lovely cosy feeling !

This is my signature scent 100%. I love very sweet gourmands that make me smell like a bakery and this is exactly that. Every time I spray this people tell me I smell delicious and they know I was in the room because the scent lingers. The note is straight up vanilla bourbon. It's so simple yet so long-lasting and effective. If you dont like very sweet fragrances then stay away but if you want an intense vanilla scent, then I highly recommend this. If they ever discontinue this I will cry, not even joking.

One of my favorite body mists and long lasting for a body mist for sure. This smells like sweet vanilla. I get some orange, maybe an orange blossom note in the beginning but haven't heard anyone comment on that. That might be my imagination. If you want a gourmand long lasting body spray, go for it. I like to spray this on my hair and my bf likes the smell of this.

i'm speaking form second hand experience here. i have a bottle of this, and my friend also has one. it's a very pleasing scent, and it just smells so deliciously sweet and powdery. the sillage is enormous. period. the moment my friend walks into the school gym, her scent just fills the air. this perfume's performance is sooo good. 10/10, definitely my fav.

My gateway scent to sweet scents!! I absolutely love this. Smells like a cake shop, a baker's kind of vanilla. Sweet, but a little sour at the beginning which fades quickly so I don't mind it at all<3 Lasts about 3ish hours and I can smell it on myself easily without having my nose touch the areas I sprayed this onto.

best vanilla scent ever and i cannot stress this enough!!! sadly it is a body spray, but you can make it last longer and project a lot more if you combine it with the body gel and lotion, and believe me it lasts a whole day on your skin. scent so good i don’t even wanna gatekeep i want everyone to know about this

I sprayed this on during lunch break and came back into my class room and people were saying it smells like powdered vanilla sugar in the room. (love). It really does have this huge sillage that disperses this soft powdered sweet vanilla in the air that lingers in the room. It is very feminine and sweet.

Beautiful bear and bitter vanilla. I find that it smells different on everyone, on me it smells a little sweeter than most people I know who use it. It has huge sillage, I'm talking it fills a room and it's sticks to hair and clothes. I had the lotion and hand cream as well.

Ooh this smells like REAL vanilla, just plucked and crushed up into a powder! None of that artificial flavouring vanilla you find in most scents. It lasts surprisingly well considering it's a body mist, longer than any of my others.

my choice when i just want to smell like vanilla. my definition of vanilla is bourbon vanilla. it makes me happy and makes me feel cozy. i love this in winter and autumn. whenever i finish the bottle i buy one more. love love love

Oh how beautiful is this.... I have been using this since I was literally 9 yo! I love it so much! Can't wait for yves rocher to bring back their perfumes alongside the body sprays! The best vanille bourbon frag!

ignore the feminine label, anyone can use this as a base layer for their usual fragrance! personally, i use it to sweeten up incense or ink<3

HOW I WISH THIS WAS AN EAU DE PARFUM! The booziest, sexiest, liquor-esque wonderful vanilla! I have nothing but praise for this.

Best pure vanilla extract. However, even as a body mist, the longevity is terrible.

I had the Vanille Bourbon perfume in my teens (almost 20 years ago) and I absolutely loved it! It also had amazing longevity and sillage. This body mist has kind of similar dna in a way but it is more tart and citrusy (perhaps also some white florals?) and the longevity and sillage is definitely not the same, not even close! This smells really strong at first, not much vanilla or vanilla bourbon though but more of the alcohol and tartness, I didn’t really recognise it as a vanilla bourbon scent at all at first. I could smell a bit of the vanilla after a while but then it was almost only a skin scent left, I almost had to press my nose against my skin to smell it. I sprayed it in my hair as well and as soon as it had dried down and the alcohol evaporated I couldn’t smell it at all unfortunately. I later tried using the body lotion from the same line before spraying the body mist and that helped a bit, but not really enough for me. I really miss the perfume version, that was an hit and I would love it if they would bring it back! This was more of a miss though, unfortunately. It smells okay but a bit too tart or citrusy for my taste, and not enough vanilla or vanilla bourbon, plus the almost nonexistent longevity and sillage/projection. (It’s not something I would like to reapply either, because the tarty/citrusy and alcohol-y sillage is crazy strong in the beginning!).

This is a plain vanilla scent, along the lines of Alyssa Ashley Vanilla, which is also a 90s style vanilla. “Bourbon Vanilla” is apparently the type of vanilla this is, not meaning bourbon & vanilla. Some bergamot/ citrus in the tops notes, then it’s settled into a simple, not too sweet vanilla. It’s okay, I bought it because I was in the mood for something like this, but I preferred this when it came in rounded top EDT bottle. They make a shower gel, lotion and bar soap that go with it.
