In Love Again Jasmin Etoile

I really enjoy the original YSL In Love Again, and I think I’m in love with this Jasmine Etoile edition. It carries the original DNA, no doubt, and as suggested by the name the jasmine is the star here. I adore the real jasmine flower so much, and I always intrigued by lots of interpretation and the directions of jasmine note can be. In ILAJE case, the jasmine and fruity notes are both equally strong, making this perfume so uplifting, shiny, optimistic, and elegant.

I received this as a birthday gift and as soon as I sprayed it, I fell in love! This is such a feminine/classy perfume. Love love love it :)

I got a sample of this old limited edition fragrance quite by chance, and given its rare status I'm glad to say I didn't fall in love with it. I do like it quite a lot, though, as I do the original. This one is a fresher, brighter version of that exceptionally well-executed fruity-floral; the combination of jasmin and star fruit that characterizes it is a very nice touch. Projection and longevity are fine as well - which is more than can be said for most modern scents of this type! I'm glad I got to test this.

11. January 2011 Not to be compared to original "In love again" in terms of appeal to me, but this one is also very good. Much closer to original one than the passion fruit formula of this fragrance. But i won ́t buy this one again for the price they ask for it since this one is really regualar jasmine scent, i know some better out there. Staying power is weak and sillage is no better. Just fresh and citruly-flowery nice everyday scent. That ́s all sadly.

I have a full bottle of it, got by chance pretty cheap on a local ad site. It smells like Jean Claude Ellena's creature, as usual elegant. Very interesting blend of Jasmine and classic ILA. Definitely summery and feminine. If it was issued now, I would think it is L'Artisan Parfumeur's interpretation of jasmine.

This is an elegant floral, definitely a yellow floral, bright, but not sharp, not familiar with the carambola note, it gives it a distinctive edge. I like it, not what I usually wear, but it has the YSL touch of class . More suitable for a spring day, mind you in the evening I like It too, it isn't heady or even long lasting. Just a bright floral scent, nicely put together.

For me this is joy in a bottle! My signature scent for summer, very disappointed that it is no longer made by YSL in the star jasmine blend! Fabulous jasmine, tangerine, mandarin and sandalwood in subtle harmony with many other notes, sophisticated, elegant and feminine but fresh and light with it. Everyone who smells it on me falls in love this scent.

That note of star fruit is the winning recipe! I love this flanker more than the OG thanks to it. It is less sweet as the fruity note from Star Fruit is fresher, a bit sour at the time very juicy. it is quite uncommon to include star fruit into the composition but this one is definitely a well-made crack. btw, it is completely unisex.

I didn`t yet have the chance to really smell this one, but reading the ingredients made me save it in my list of want to have. I love YSL so much, his taste is uniquely good and I am crazy about Jasmine. So next year I just might let myself go for this newbie in my life. If it`s elegant then for sure. And the bottle looks sexy again.

Just received it today.. I dont get any citruses nor fruits, on my skin starts floral powdery, then blooms with pure elegant jasmin.. which is exactly what I was looking for.. great for any occassion, very elegant and very long lasting.. p.s. my husband loves it ..:))

This scent smell like a bit lemon honey, sweet, feminine, some how elegant and it's very long lasting for me.

In Love Again Is Great But Jasmin Etoile is Bad, OK it'll not too bad BUT don't compare to In Love Again!
