Libre Le Parfum

Before I was gifted this one, I was avoidant of the entire Libre line— purely on the bias that it was overrated. Sampling it in shops never swayed me. I never understood the appeal. Perhaps it was the mixing of other fragrances in the air. Or, maybe I really was that stubborn. In any case, after finally getting a few Libres, I wholeheartedly regret not having made a purchase sooner. I honestly confused this one for the original when I decided to wear it to the office, and I figured it wouldn’t stand out much. You can imagine my surprise when others continued to comment on how nice I smelled from several feet away. That said, it makes quite an impression. But it knows its place. With the right skin chemistry, you’ll find it won’t wear you. It will melt seamlessly and make the day brighter. I’m excited to see how this one evolves through the year. Intriguingly, after wearing this one a few times, I’m getting the perception of it having a “universal temperature.” It is warmer on cold days, yet easily comes across and light and refreshing in warm weather. I’m ecstatic about this as I adore year-round fragrances. For notes, LLP leaves a noticeable trail of warm, barely spiced citrus. Definitely citrus/vanilla forward; I immediately detect the vanilla through the opening. I feel the lavender helps mellow everything, and the spicier notes help keep the sweeter ones grounded. For my skin, the ginger and saffron are subdued in comparison to similar fragrances. “Old lady vibes?” Not in the least. Age is irrelevant for this one. LLP is for those who carry themselves with an understated confidence. She doesn’t need to impress you. She already knows her worth and celebrates it calmly and without hesitation. This one is classy. Elevated. A great price for letting off an expensive aura. A cool and clean winner.

I tried a spritz of this at my work the first day we got it in, and I've been getting compliments all evening! I keep leaning down to sniff my wrist (which means I'll probably get a FB)... Some would say that Le Parfum (LP) is redundant in comparison to Libre Intense (LI), but I've been comparing the two over the past few days, and LP tends to have a more feminine lean to it with the saffron and vanilla whereas LI maintains the feminine-masculine profile from the original EDT. If LI is 60/40, then LP is closer to 70/30 feminine vs. masculine elements (if you're used to spicy, warm, amber women's fragrances). Given the option between the two, I would recommend LP if you enjoy warm spicy scents with excellent longevity, and LI if you find the play of masculine and feminine and cool (Lavender, citrus) and warm elements (Amber, vanilla) to be more interesting. The ambergris in LI doesn't play very well with my skin and tends to give off a musky Axe body spray vibe as opposed to a well-balanced animalic accord. They really aren't that similar once you get to the dry down, so I would test out both before committing to a FB of either. The autumn release time is perfect IMO, as this is a scent I can see best suited for fall/winter. It's still nice in August though! I look forward to trying it out on a hot day, it's been very mild/cool here as of late, so maybe that's when this scent shines? Scent: 9.5/10 Longevity: This is "beast mode" on me, and I can perceive it on my wrist still the next morning. It's strong up to 8+ hours on my skin Sillage: Strong, it can be picked up by someone having a conversation with you a comfortable distance away. Price: It's the most expensive Libre, just barely beating out LI, but I consider it great for how well it wears on me.

This is another fragrance I almost (foolishly) gave to someone else. I liked, but didn't love, YSL Libre Le Parfum at first. I wanted a more honey-forward gourmand scent, and at the time, I knew much less about fragrances than I do now. I was very much against florals then, but hoped maybe the lavender would be more of a tiny accent note and that orange blossom would be more fruity than floral. I was wrong on both accounts. I felt it was too floral, too soapy, too citric. This was something for a well-to-do lady's linen cabinet perhaps, but not for me. So I let it sit, untouched, for months while I decided its future. Then I wanted to sample some of my fragrance collection, the ones I hadn't smelled in some time. I sprayed some Pink Sugar on my arm— don't judge— and could barely smell it after filling my nose with the potent Guerlain Tobacco and Honey. Then just for giggles, I sprayed this overtop or near where I sprayed Pink Sugar and... PURE HEAVEN!!! Granted, I now believe I am smelling a combination of the two fragrances (with a tiny bit of influence from Guerlain), but if so, it is an inspired one! The néroli is so sweet and beautiful, perfectly blended with the ever-lovely creamy tonka, with a clean honey scent on top. It's so overpowered at first that I could smell nothing else on my arm, but it disappeared faster than the other fragrances, too, interestingly. So if one wants a clean, mostly floral vanilla fragrance with a bit of honey, this will fit that description perfectly. I do recommend layering it with something sweeter if it is too evocative of fresh laundry for comfort. The addition of a nice warm vanilla or buttery gourmand could also tame the floral notes somewhat.

Super impressive. I am a fan of "vintage" fragrances (mainly from the 90s and 00s) but I love this one. "Libre Le Parfum" is a modern, contemporary fragrance but it is also innovative. The "Libre" line certainly deserves the hype it gets. I only have this one but I have tried the original as well. I love the bottle and the colour of the perfume. When I smelt this for the first time, I immediately thought it was familiar. I am surprised to see I am the only person who associates "Libre Le Parfum" with "Olympea" by Paco Rabanne. There is a good reason for this - not only do they share a perfumer (Anne Flipo) but they also share several notes (vanilla, mandarin orange, ginger). They both have vanilla as a main accord and while "Olympea" has a lovely salt note, "Libre Le Parfum" has a lavender one. The latter is the deeper, darker older sister or cousin of the former. "Libre Le Parfum" has an intense, almost syrupy opening mixed with a lavender note. The vanilla, honey and orange blossom definitely contribute to this sweet opening. However, I would not classify it as "gourmand" because the lavender note contrasts with the sweetness very well. "Libre Le Parfum" is among the few scents that gets more intense and deep as opposed to getting lighter in the drydown. The sweet opening lasts an hour or so then the lavender grows stronger, making the drydown almost aromatic. Regardless, the fragrance remains feminine leaning. It has great longevity and overall quality which justifies the price tag. I would probably repurchase if I ever manage to use up my 30 ml bottle. It is a strong scent and even that small bottle will last you a long time.

If I had to choose just one fragrance from my collection, it would be Libre Le Parfum. This is not only my favorite fragrance of all time, but also the scent that truly made me fall down the fragrance rabbit hole. It sparked my passion for perfumery and completely changed the way I appreciate fragrances. What I love most about Libre Le Parfum is how luxurious, confident, and addictive it smells. The blend feels rich and elegant, balancing warmth and sweetness with a sophisticated edge. Every time I wear it, I feel put together and effortlessly confident. The performance is simply outstanding. The longevity is incredible, lasting well into the day and often lingering on my clothes even after several wears. The sillage leaves a beautiful scent trail that people notice without being overwhelming, while the projection is strong enough to make its presence known and command attention in the best way possible. Perhaps the biggest testament to how good this fragrance is: it's one of the biggest compliment getters I've ever owned. Friends, coworkers, and even strangers have asked me what I'm wearing. It consistently draws positive reactions and makes me feel special every time I put it on. Libre Le Parfum will always have a special place in my heart because it was the fragrance that started everything for me. No matter how many new perfumes I discover, this remains my most beloved scent and the benchmark against which I compare every other fragrance. It's elegant, powerful, long-lasting, and unforgettable—everything I could ever want in a perfume. ❤️

This is hands down my favorite perfume I have been able to smell. The opening is the sweetest with the lavender and orange blossom coming through the most during the first 30 minutes to an hour and creates a sweet but rather sophisticated scent that reminds me specifically of the red Welch's gummies which to me is really nostalgic but also doesn't give off an artificial fruity vibe like Burberry Her Elixir for example. After a few hours it really settles into the tonka bean and honey and in total lasts for around 6-8h but my favorite notes come through during the first 3-4h after applying. However, on clothes it stays on for days. The first time I sprayed this in sephora it got onto my sleeve from my wrist and I could smell it for the next 5 days (with the complete notes not just the tonka bean and honey like after a couple of hours on skin). Its a wonderful fragrance for night outs in the winter or fall and maybe spring but it can also be a wonderful everyday signature scent if it suits you. I have kind of been dousing myself in this fragrance and I havent noticed any signs or received any feedback that it was too intense. That being said, it is still definitely a strong, rather sweet and long lasting fragrance so I could understand how some people could be sensitive to that. The projection is also good: I would say between moderate and strong.

libre le parfum is the signature scent of my friend, she emptied so many bottles throughout the years, all i can think of when sniffing this fragrance is her, her dark aura and strong presence. this fragrance is something. strong and edgy, yet somehow warming. makes me think of a gorgeous dark femme, her fatal beauty and captivating gaze. she is mysterious and sexy, right there sitting at the bar but everyone is afraid of approaching her. libre le parfum is intriguing and powerful. the instant spray is so strong it knocked my socks off. becomes more subtle and mysterious as time passes. it's quite spicy leaning at first with noticeable citrus. after a few moments as this explosion calms down, it becomes more of a honey infused with saffron and ginger. with time it transforms into a softer delicious vanilla and orange blossom. overall it's quite warm spicy. expensive and luxurious. i prefer the smell as it starts to dry down, but i love it regardless. i'm not sure if the price tag is specifically worth it for me, as it is already a beloved perfume of my friend. maybe sometime in future i'll buy a small bottle just for the sake of owning this fragrance. in my opinion it's a fragrance fitting all seasons, but it does have the evening vibe anyway. i think it's just a whole different experience wearing it when the world is shrouded in darkness.

The opening notes immediately tingled on my skin announcing the presence of ginger and saffron. The floral note still dominating the scent but this time around layered with syrupy honey. I much prefer this version over Libre Eau de Parfum. While it still feels floral and sweet, it doesn't feel overdone. However, the scent can become quite 'full' almost cloying at one degree if you are not careful with the number of sprays. It also weirdly smells delicious, thanks to the honey note that gives it a slight gourmand touch. I can definitely see myself spraying this on. True, it still leans slightly toward feminine side but it can dubiously transform itself into unisex territory, at least to the untrained nose. The sillage performs well on my skin and the longevity is impressive. I’m genuinely surprised by how well it blends with my skin chemistry. This version steps into more mature territory, freeing itself from the prominent floral chains that held the previous version to an obviously feminine-leaning scent. This time around, it finally walks the lines between masculine and feminine. I wish YSL would dare to fully live up to its name by officially liberating this scent as a unisex fragrance rather than boxing it into a specific gender. Overall Scent Score: 8.5/10

wonderful take on the original libre !! most libre flankers tend to smell similar on the initial spray with lavender being the main note but the magic begins as soon as it starts to dry down. this flanker develops into a super sweet vanilla fragrance. The Honey is prominent and the main star of the show. This is a less aromatic version of Libre but could be an aromatic flanker of Black Opium. To put it simply this is THE gourmand libre or libre for gourmand enjoyers. Also, compared to all of the Libre releases, which are super unisex to my nose, le parfum is the only libre that i can say is a true feminine fragrance in the libre collection. I noticed something weird with YSL fragrances tho, and they could be using the same vanilla base for their fragrances as Libre Le Parfum tends to smell like Black Opium Over Red after a few hours. Btw I can totally see that people who have untrained noses or generic scent preferences might label it as a complex scent but it really isn’t. I still think it’s a beautiful fragrance bc fragrances shouldn’t always be complex for it to be good. Loveable but not unique enough for me !! Fragrance itself is amazing but not signature-worthy for me.

**I am new to the fragrance world I don't have the best most informative reviews, I go based on vibes** I think I'm starting to realize, I am a HUGE YSL Fragrance fan, everything I have ever touched by them has been something I really enjoy. I bought the travel size of this (I was originally just trying to get OG Libre, but my local Ulta was sold out so I picked this up instead.) and was so glad I did! I adore this fragrance! It smells like THAT girl, THAT girl who knows shes hot and all of that. For sure a dominant fragrance so if you want something a bit more subdued, try OG Libre instead. I totally get that intoxicating orange blossom with the hints of lavender and vanilla are absolutely sublime. It makes me feel like the way Salvatore by Lana Del Rey sounds. (Hopefully someone knows what I mean by that.) I do wish the projection was a bit stronger, however I only spray about 4-6 times total. It lasts perfectly well through a whole shift for sure. Although, this is more of a sexy date fragrance not really for a casual work environment. However, I'm heavily considering this a signature because of how much of a baddie I feel wearing it tbh. Overall Rating: 10/10

After sampling 3 Libre perfumes, this is definitely the one for me. The original edp while I loved the opening I found it quite sickly and heady it gave me a lavender alien vibe and while I love that smell, it is just too strong for my nose. The Libre intense was an amazing opening and initially I bought that one based on the opening alone but sadly had to return because the dry down was too sickly sweet for me and gave off a frangipani smell on my skin which I couldn’t stand and I had to wash it off. This le parfum however is the best of both worlds, a lot of people say it’s not got the lavender like the original or intense but I can definitely smell it and the opening is very much the same as the intense but it doesn’t go sickly sweet it stays very warm but gives me slight unisex/men’s cologne vibes which personally I love men’s fragrances so I didn’t mind. While it’s still strong, I don’t feel like it is as strong as the other 2 but for anyone who can be sensitive to fragrance or certain fragrances give headaches this one I don’t think would be as offensive and would calm down enough for you to enjoy the scent without being to cloying.

I dont usually gravitate towards sweet vanilla scents but this one completely changed my mind. I loved the original but when I tried thie one it made the original smell so much less interesting by comparison. I personally love the spice added to the Le Parfum because it made the vanilla less 'vanilla' and made the sweetness a lot more unique. It's a strong one so I only need one spritz at a time which I think gives it great value even with the higher price tag. Even though it can be a tad stronger for summertime in my humid hometown, I love it so much I still reach for it anyway and just time it so it's dried down by the time im in close quarters with other people. On me, the saffron and orange blossom comes out more than the lavender which for me is a win. The tonka at its rounds out what would have been too sweet of a vanilla otherwise. Update: Officially my new favorite! It's just the right amount of sweetness for me. I actually like it a lot more than the original on myself though i still enjoy the EDP

The Libre DNA is so unique, especially when it first emerged, that I really have to give it credit. It took a while for me to get on-board all the way, at first I only bought a travel spray of the original EDP. I kept hearing that Libre Intense was everyone’s favorite, but as soon as I smelled Le Parfum I immediately bought the biggest bottle. Fast forward to 2025, and I almost missed out on buying Vanille Couture. Sadly, it is my favorite of all of them but is inexplicably discontinued. All of that said, I felt like if I mixed Le parfum with the right vanilla, I might be able to get a similar feel to Vanille Couture. I happen to have a bottle (and several back-ups) of the also discontinued Alien Essence Absolu, and sure enough when I layer them, it is absolutely heavenly. It’s not exactly Vanille Couture, but dare I say it’s even better, but with a similar feel. So if you happen to have AEA, it’s the perfect warm, syrupy vanilla to enhance Libre Le Parfum!

i was on a hunt to find a certain perfume i smelled on women daily during a holiday to madrid in spring 2024. i never thought to ask a single person what scent they had on but began to smell everything at sephora, ulta, and other places after i came home. when i smelled marc jacobs perfect edp, i immediately thought it was this but i know i can never be sure. i then smelled ysl libre le parfum and realized this one could be it as well. i know, wildly different, but they have some of the same notes, so i know 'the' madrid perfume is something white floral. any suggestions, especially from women in madrid on what they wear/wore in spring 2024 is super helpful! this one is just beautiful. i love most things orange and/or vanilla and/or bergamot and/or vetiver. this has all four and is my favorite in the libre line from ysl. i feel like it's such a great date night perfume but have also worn it during the day and loved it.

A fragrance for a luxurious woman in a leather jacket. I’m utterly intoxicated by it. It comes alive in autumn, especially in early october, when the first rainy days arrive. Yet to me, it feels completely seasonless. There’s no grape listed in the notes, but it’s exactly what I smell: tart black grapes drenched in dark, slow-flowing honey. The saffron brings a dry, subtly leathery spice, while the vetiver in the base leaves behind a refined woody trail. Everything about this fragrance is captivating. The honeyed spiciness, the gently piquant sweetness, the way it perfectly balances the brightness of citrus with the aromatic freshness of lavender. it all feels effortlessly harmonious. It's incredibly sexy and confident. A fragrance with real presence. The best interpretation of the DNA, in my opinion. L’Absolu Platine comes next (less sweet, clean, unisex). A completely different take, yet every bit as compelling.

This one is so awesome, I tried out all the libre perfumes and this one is by far the best. It really reminds me of making marzipan for saint Nicolas: I use orange blossom extract for making that and this perfume smells like it a lot. I was a bit hessitant when I saw there's supposed to be a ginger note, but luckily I cannot discern it. This is by far the perfume that has the best longevity in my collection, easily 12h+. The liquid looks like dark honey in the beautiful bottle (the cap is supposedly innspired by an assymeetric ysl skirt that I would definitely wear), just look out because if sprayed on clothes from to near it will stain. I bought this one on my last trip to Chicago in autumn, when I arrived there it was gorgeous autumn weather: sun annd 20° (68° in freedom units) and 3 days later the city was under a bllanket of snow, and that's exactly the range of weather this perfume is perfect for.

I was curious about this and, as I was out shopping today, I decided to try it, from one of the fragrances shops. I know I am late finding out about Libre but, maybe due to the huge popularity, I never thought to try any of them. Saying that, I was intrigued by le parfum due to it being the strongest in the line. Immediately after 1 spray on my hand, I could smell sharp and rich lavender and ginger. After 10 minutes, it became richer, sweeter and more dense. 4 hours in I can smell the orange blossom, the honey and vanilla. I am not sure how to explain this but It has a beautiful old fashioned type smell about it, in a good way.I am definitely going to buy it! Update: I can still smell this on my skin and it is 1 single spray, applied 9 hours ago. Update May 31: I have just ordered this. I have been thinking about this perfume since I tried it last weekend! 🤎

I remember when the OG Libre came out and I thought it smelled like cough medicine lol. I couldn't stand it and I never understood why people liked it so much. I worked at a beauty retailer for two years and still didn't like the fragrance or the flankers. 5 years later from when I first ever smelled it, I decided to give it one more try and I bought a small 1 oz Le Parfum for half off during a sale. Literally the first day I wore it I got 4 compliments! Every time I wear it outside, I am guaranteed compliments from everyone! It has become a staple in my collection and I MUST always have it. 10/10 for smell, projection, and performance! I feel like a Cheetah Girl when I wear this. I'm ready to pull out the cheetah print, leather pants, slap on some bronzy makeup on my face with a cat eye! I really feel like the fiercest in the room when I wear this!

This is my review of YSL Libre Le Parfum. Outstanding! Best offering from YSL for many years. Honey, spices, floral, the opening top notes are very sweet. Quite different from the original Libre. They are very different fragrances. Honey & ginger are both very prominent from the beginning. If you don't like Honey & ginger you will not like this fragrance. The middle notes reveal more of the flowers and the dry down is heavenly. Very sensual warm & comforting like a Cashmere jumper. Perfect for Autumn & winter a perfect gift for Christmas time. A very modern, contemporary fragrance with a nod to other YSL Legendary fragrances of the past, Opium, Cinema, Y, Black Opium. Gorgeous gourmand vanilla bomb, I love it. Will definitely repurchase. Highly recommended 👌

Libre Intense is one of my most worn and beloved perfumes. Le Parfum is very similar but it's pretty much a more rounded version of the Intense. The opening is pretty similar. I do smell the added ginger and suttle spicyness from the saffron. The orange blossom is definitely the star of the show here. The lavender is very toned down in this and blends together nicely with the citrus and sweet orange blossom. The dry down is less tonka heavy and the honey gives it a beautiful warm note. Overall, I do really love this flanker, probably because it is so close to the Intense just with a less sharp "masculine" leaning lavender, so if that was the reason you didn't like the Intense or even the original Libre, you should definitely test this one out.

Libre Le Parfum is the best women’s perfume I have ever come across thus far. I can’t even describe how amazing this smells. Just saying how much I love it is an understatement. Ladies, trust me when I tell you that this fragrance will make you stand out as a powerful, sophisticated, confident woman. It will make every gentleman stop in their tracks and give you the highest respect! Before using Libre Le Parfum, I highly suggest you do three sprays or so in the air, store the bottle in a cold dark place, and let it macerate for a few months. Men will LOVE this on you. If your boyfriend, husband, or significant other doesn’t appreciate this fragrance on you, well then he is not Mr Right. Libre Le Parfum is a pure work of art!

I absolutely love this fragrance. When it was first released, I actually bought it by mistake and didn't like it at all, so I ended up selling it for really cheap. Some years later, I found it on sale. I thought, "Why not give it another chance?" I'm so glad I did—I don't regret it for a second. To me, it's perfect year-round. In the summer, it even gives me a subtle sunscreen vibe (in the best way possible), which I absolutely love. This is truly a masterpiece from the Libre line. I honestly think it's one of YSL's best fragrances. The boozy notes, warm spices, and soft creamy facets blend together beautifully, creating something elegant, comforting, and incredibly addictive. It's so so good, really love it.

notes of ginger and saffron initially put me off, as i thought theyd be very spicy and worsen the sharp floral opening ive experienced in the og. HOWEVER. the opening is surprisingly smooth, a combination of that familiar lavender and citrus, a new sensual saffron, and this rich, almost jazzy honey. its not overpoweringly sweet, but adds this warm, sticky quality that smells intoxicating with the vanilla, which is also more prominent. this flanker is deeper and darker and more powerful than the og, which when compared side-by-side is much more clean and fresh (this isnt to say that the og is a laundry scent, but just that its cleanER than le parfum). sexy and alluring and POWERFUL. love love love!

I was completely surprised when we opened our Christmas gifts this morning! My Husband got me this! I’ve wanted this since it’s been released! Oh it’s absolutely beautiful, it’s smoother and more rounded then the Libre Intense. The orange blossom is amped up and lavender is toned down and the added honey, tonka bean with the slightly spicy saffron and ginger is a wonderful combination. So stunningly beautiful! 10/10 I have to update on this absolutely beautiful fragrance! I have never worn a fragrance for a month straight in years and I’ve gone through 3/4 of my 50 ml bottle, I over spray, I bathe in it! This beauty is incredible and it’s my signature, I can’t wait to get the big 90 ml bottle!!

My favourite out of libre line. Everytime i love my outfit and i feel praticularly classy i opt for this, the mix of very feminine vanilla and honey mixed with some more conventionally masculine notes such as lavender or veltiver makes me feel like a powerful women (that i am). Lavender reminds me of summers i spent on croatian islands, that is probably why, even if this is a very strongly projecting fragrance i go for it for hot summer nights but also all classy daytime activities in summer. I am such a fan. Also i really enjoy putting one or two sprays of my linear vanilla/lavender frangrances to bring out one of the two worlds libre brings me to at the same time a bit more.

I don’t know... Tricky one. I think I’m to underdressed for this scent 😂. I’m a jeans and T-shirt kind of girl and even though I wanna use this perfume I feel like I never find the Right time for it 😅. When I think of this scent I see a buisness woman, a CEO, who wears high heals on a daily basis, well put togheter. Or a grandma 😆. I don’t se my self pulling this of in my T-shirt and jeans. With that said, I WISH I could pull this of. I think I will come back to this one in a couple of years. This one is here to stay on the market, of that I’m sure. It’s just not for me where I’m in life Right now. But I’m cheering for you all CEO boss babes out there pulling this of!

This perfume and its performance oh my! The scent profile is incredibly evocative; it lasts forever on clothing and a solid eight hours on skin. It’s a warm honeyed orange with a melting, ambery, boozy vanilla—almost like a bursting bouquet of scents. You either love it or hate it. It’s high-class sophistication and cheap dollar store all at the same time, and I’m here for it! I can’t wear it every day, but when I do, it’s a scent that owns you—so you’ve got to own it. Personally, I don’t find it overwhelming, even though it’s an assault on the senses. Top tip layering this with a cypher is a move. I use Clarins Eau Dynamisante and it just elevates the opening !

This one is most definitely my favourite from the libre line. To me it smells quite different and more unique from the libre edp. I love that the spices aren't overpowering and it smells more "comfy". Every time i wear it at least one person compliments it - although i think its very likeable i would still recommend not to blind buy it. The opening is kinda spicy but it settles into a very nice vanilla and honey scent but at the same time its very fresh so u don't really smell like a pastry. On my skin it stays for quite a long time but the sillage isn't too crazy. At first it appears to be very strong but as it settles it becomes more intimate.

To me - this smells sophisticated, well dressed, bossy, and intimidating. An attractive corporate woman. First, I get the citrusy ginger mixed with some intense orange blossom and a hint of lavender. After a few minutes it sweetens out with some deep vanilla... but after an hour or so, that tonka bean mixes with the honey & vanilla which creates this soft, fluffy, heavenly combination. I wouldn’t quite call it gourmand, it lacks that “food” quality. It’s fluffy and sweet yet mixed with a floral background that keeps it from getting too syrupy. Projects well, lasts 8+ hours. It’s not a daily reach but it sure boosts the confidence. 🖤

I also have Golden Decade elixir which is startling in its similarity at a way lower price point (Zara) but tonight I applied Girl of Now (Shine), a named brand but also at a more reasonable price point and to me the scent is very very similar. Had the bottle a year, well stored, I don’t know if that’s relevant though. In this age of ‘cozzy livs’ I like to mix class with sass and this totally beautiful amber is worth every penny, it’s like a modern take on an 80’s big hitter, however, similar, good quality, can be found for less. So you can splash on something really unique and unrepresented elsewhere.

It's a true IT girl scent. I wanted something else because of how popular and mass-worn the Libre line is, but I COULDN'T STOP BEING SEDUCED by this perfume. It's now my signature evening/going-out perfume :P Scent: A rich mix of mildly spicy honey with creamy vanilla (not too sweet or headache-inducing), not to forget the slight floral hints. I have to add a warning, the initial scent you get when you first spray it is very masculine BUT be patient (not even 5 minutes), the top notes will shy away and the scents I described above will hit you like a siren to an unsuspecting sailor.

Opening is spicy, zesty, fresh & juicy. Immediately I’m hooked. You can still sense that original Libre DNA but with less lavender. It’s warm, clean & RICH. It leans more feminine than the original EDP but it still has this sexy spiciness. That honey & tonka turn this fragrance into a sumptuous, resplendent aroma that makes you wanna dig your face into anyone who is wearing it. This is my go-to perfume for when I go out at night & I want to smell magnetic; when I don’t want to go full on sugary sweet & girly. This is for a sensual woman who doesn’t put up with anyone’s bullshit.

Swoon. More sophisticated than Libre Intense and absolutely gorgeous. (The reviewer who wrote “less sharp” is spot on.) The addition of honey is lovely. While both Intense and Le Parfum are stronger than what I generally wear, this would be my choice of the two. I can’t stop smelling my wrist! ETA: The beautiful dry down is exactly what a dry down should be. The scent actually changes, and becomes softer and slowly simpler. Still lovely. This is such a welcome change from many beast mode perfumes that just go on and on and on without any real evolution.

I resisted and resisted buying this due to my own fragrance snobbery of “too many people wear this” . What a fool I was - this is sensational. It’s a syrupy, dense, vanilla, honey, lavender - orange blossom. It’s sweet without being sickly and mass appealing without smelling cheap. I adore this, every now and again a designer fragrance makes a statement and this is it. Projects like crazy and perfect for cold English weather. Perfect little one to keep on your shelf when you don’t won’t to abuse your £200+ fragrances. A love for me.

Got it in 2024 and it’s One of the best fragrances I’ve ever owned for the cold months. I use it for the office and the spicy honey in the drydown gives me life. It paints a picture of a woman who’s elegant, smart, but also feminine and beautiful. That’s why it’s my favourite flanker. People say this is perfect for dates for women but I find the entire Libre line to be quite serious/gender-neutral-ish. It lacks the sensuality that I believe will make it perfect for a date for a straight woman. But I’m open to hearing more on this.

This is amazing, incredible! I sampled all the libre flankers and this one is by far the absolute best one. It’s aromatic with that lavender yes like the others but so warm with that saffron and spicy with the ginger and rich with the Tonka. It’s smells just like its color. It’s the sweetest of them all which is more my vibe but it’s also a bit woody which gives it a depth. It’s thick and not in a syrup way. It’s so hard to describe all I know is that it’s just so so so sensually and elegant! I need to not be without this!

I've been craving to smell this and it was an immediately love, my favorite from the collection, on my skin starts with a crisp ginger-citrus blast that it's not intrusive, after that I get a beautiful blend of spices and lavander infused with honey and vanilla, I also feel a little bit of vetiver, It's unisex to me, it's very warm, cozy, elegant, this could be a signature with no problem, it's not heavy as long as you don't overspray, one spray behind the ears and in the inner elbows are enough for me.

Testing my sample; honied ginger with intensely sweet orange flower, gets more vanillic as it dries down on the skin, with a hint of boozy. The honied note reminds me of the honey in Elie Saab Le Parfum and JPG's Scandal. Perfect for the cool/cold weather, autumn and winter. Very strong, two sprays and I'm told I left a trail, major compliment getter. Definitely full bottle worthy, and holds its own in the Libre collection. You can skip the others and just get this if you want a Libre fragrance.

Ahh.....Libre le parfum....the only Libre I love. For some reason this reminds me of how I felt about Dolce & Gabbana red perfume in the 90s. Completely different perfume notes but I get the same “it’s my perfect night out fragrance vibe” with this. Sweeter than the other Libre’s but I wouldn’t personally class this as gourmand in any way. However the dry down is smooth and the vanilla and honey can be detected throughout, adding a perfect balance and preventing it from being sharp.

I'm not a fan of original Libre but this one tempted me in with the honey notes, and it does not disappoint! Sexy warm honey bourbon vanilla, it's sweet without being sugary or cloying, it's actually a fairly mature scent. Definitely getting a little floral but not a ton, the honey is the real star here. Might be a bit too bold for work but perfect for a party or a date. Edit: I love this fragrance but I'm glad I only got a decant because it's giving me a headache :(

I’m so late to the game on this one cause I’ve been Libre DNA hater until now. Le Parfum is GORGEOUS! Smooth, sweet, yummy, sexy, and so pretty! I am usually not a lavender nor ginger fan but in Le Parfum the ginger adds a zest and sparkle and the lavender adds a clean, brightness. Both are not overpowering and they make the traditionally sweet orange blossom feel effervescent! The honey and vanilla add a warmth that makes this the perfect fruity flormand!

This is a beautiful, warm, sweet, and comforting fragrance. I’m not aware of the other flankers but was influenced to blind buy this and I have no regrets! I’m not at all a gourmand girl. Don’t want to smell like a cake or cookie and this is not that but it doesn’t compromise the sweetness at all. This is a grown, I know who I am and I know what I want perfume. It’s not migraine inducing either. A crowd pleaser and nice addition to my collection

Finally had an occasion to wear it, and I like it even more. I haven't tried the recent releases but since I enjoy this one so much I don't feel the need for more. Such a beautiful, sophisticated fragrance. It has just the right amount of sweetness that I really enjoy (the same as in Armani Code, the OG, before it was watered down). If you don't like it, don't buy it and go enjoy Burberry Goddess or Mon Guerlain. More for me.

I love this perfume. Love. But I also love Libre Intense and to be honest, you don’t need both. They are very similar. Libre Intense feels more fresh and uplifting. Le Parfum is a tad darker and richer with a splash of citrus. It is also sweeter which I love, but it gets more linear and doesn’t wow me in the same way. I need the contrasts of the Intense. Both are extremely sexy, don’t get me wrong. Truly breathtaking. 10/10.

I purchased a box set with 4 x 7.5ml bottles of Libre edp, Libre edt, Libre le Parfum and Libre Intense and by far the best of them all and the longest lasting 8+ hours is le parfum, I have not tried any of the other flanker in this line and I have purchased a larger bottle of Le Parfum. It's richer, more gourmand and spicier but still has the YSL original libre DNA. I love this fragrance it's a big thumbs 👍 up for me. ❤️

I am not sure why people are saying that it’s less sharp than libre intense because this is the most sharp in the Libre collection in my opinion. It’s very boozy and kind of reminds me of bourbon or whiskey. For example: it does not smell like Jazz Club by MM, but it gives off the same vibe if that makes sense. If you’re into those types of scents you would like this, and it’s a well done perfume.. it’s just not for me

This might be my favorite perfume in my entire collection. Throughout the cold months, I am completely addicted. It starts off with a sexy, spicy hit of saffron and ginger, then melts into the deep warmth of honey and bourbon vanilla. The lavender and orange blossom keep it from becoming too gourmand. In the drydown I get the original Libre DNA, but this one is so much better than the original.

vanilla amber spice but in the best, warmest, most liquid way possible. the honey is honestly pretty light on me, mostly just tying in all the notes together, making it really blend smoothly. the lavender is sweet and not powdery, the orange blossom is delicate and pretty. it's a bit strong for my usual taste but i really like it. feels a little more modern and sexy than libre intense i think.

Wow wow wow!! What a gorgeous scent I don’t love the way lavender is used usually but this is perfect. a bit jammy & a bit citrusy gives such elegant vibes It’s sweet in a very subtle way I don’t think it reads super feminine tbh, i tend to gravitate towards “womens” perfumes so maybe i’m a little skewed but i think this could be marketed as a unisex fragrance and still work!! Need ASAP

This is the best flanker from Libre, I am so in love! It still has the DNA from original Libre but the lavender is a lot softer and very smooth here, with vanilla and honey, this stuff is heaven on earth! I love Libre intense too, they smell very similar, but le parfum has more depth and lasts longer. I would say intense is better for summer, le parfum is so beautiful on winter.
