Libre L’Eau Nue

This is my favorite of the Libre line. It's the scent of walking through an orange tree orchard after a light summer rain, wafts of lavender and soft florals coming through from neighboring fields. It's fresh, citrusy, clean, light (maybe too light), with a hint of white floral and lavender. It's a gentle scent, that doesn't last as long as it should for the price. I've found myself having to decant and reapply every 4 hours or so (although I am light handed), base notes do stay close to the skin longer, however. And yes, it can leave skin feeling a bit sticky if sprayed on dry skin. To fix that, apply directly after a nice moisturizing lotion and/or body oil. I find it helps lock in the scent for a bit longer, as well prevents any stickiness. Applying to the back of the neck or even the hair also helps to leave a bit of a trail of scent without needing to worry about stickiness. Patiently waiting for inspiration houses to release a similar scent to wear every day. It's a bit too expensive for daily wear since reapplication is necessary so often.

Ooh, la la! This is my favourite of the Libre collection! The original has the Libre allure that is intoxicating but while I do love it there's something sickly about it and it stopped me from purchasing a FB - since my minis are enough. The Platine was gorgeous on paper but on my skin it was too masculine and also a little nauseating so I sold my bottle. But this one is WOW! It absolutely has the Libre DNA and all it's allure but it's softer and has that clean-girl-esthetic scent. I'm not a fan of soapy scents so I'm pleased that it's fleeting. After a minute of soapy it settles into a comforting, warm and luminous scent! If you been searching for a white floral that isn't screechy - this is it! I left the store only to drive right back for a bottle of my own! *** It is oily and looks great on skin but may not be so great on clothes ***

I've received a sample and this is probably the best perfume I have smelled in 2025 I love the citrus so much and how it dries down on me . Usually fruity scents smell every animalic after a while on me but this doesn't. It's scent also reminds me of the Jarritos mandarin soda which I enjoy as well so delicious makes me want to drink the perfume 😂. (I won't do that though my sister and I are planning to buy a full version for ourselves ) I don't agree with the comments saying it smells like dawn dish soap but we all smell thing differently . I can see how it smells like laundry detergent it is probably the lavender note but that's great to me I love smelling laundry detergent and always wanted a perfume that smells like clean clothes.

I love this so so so much!! Thought about it so often since it was launched and finally I found it half off so I got it as a summer present for myself lol Such a beautiful citrusy version of Libre (which happens to be one of my favorite perfume lines ever, I think the only one I didn't like was Platine), perfect for summer!! I also love the alcohol-free formula, it gives a nice glow to the skin as well. Still testing out the longevity but so far it seems okay, I love the scent and formula so much so I really don't even mind reapplying this one.

Smells nice and a little lighter vibes than the OG. Not worth having both or multiple of the flankers IMO. *Future me edit* I do think this one is worth having alongside the OG. Where the OG is sultry and a little denser this almost reminds me of DG Light Blue intense. Its notes shine and it stays light but it is something. It has substance and it smells clean but not laundry detergent. OG for the fall. And Nue for the spring/summer

this shit is SOOOOO yummy to me it smells like sweet gingery orange biscuits?? very buttery smell i think i like that it’s oily but it doesn’t last too long maybe like 3 hours tops, i got this as a tester and i love it so much probably gonna buy a bigger bottle. it’s very intimate but i like that cos with sweeter scents people can find it a bit too much but i love them so it’s only for me yay!

I really like this Libre flanker! It is Libre DNA streamlined and with added citrus notes; having lavender be the base notes instead of woods/ambergris/musk really allows both the lavender and the orange blossom to shine. Atomizer on the bottle is fantastic. Good projection and lasts all day on clothes. No sweat smell to me and I don't notice any particularly meaningful stickiness.

As someone who had been wanting a lighter version of Libre EDP but didn't like the tea notes in Libre EDT, this fragrance is pretty much perfect. Despite not being alcohol-based it has lasted quite a while, though the silage is a just bit too weak for my tastes. I think that this may be a fantastic fragrance to layer with, so I'll have to run a few tests to see what works!

This is basically what I hoped the EDT would be like; it’s got noticeable lavender and citrus notes up front, but it’s not nearly as sweet as the EDP or Libre Intense. It is easier to wear in warmer weather though. While I’d still choose the original EDP over this in a heartbeat, I’d still recommend this to lavender and citrus lovers.

Beautiful, clean, white floral citrus scent. Surprisingly has very good lasting power given that it’s an oil-in-water based fragrance. The scent reminds me very much of Creed Love in White. It’s a clean, white dress, white shirt, fresh laundryish kinda perfume. My favorite in the Libre line.

Beautiful fresh scent, I get a honeysuckle note which is odd bc it doesn’t have that, but a great spring wear. Good for summer too but I go for tropical sunscreen scents in the summer. This would be good for the office too, very light. Only complaint Is that it has zero longevity.

this smells of summer in Greece - the promise of warm days by the Aegean, and endless nights walking through the cobblestone streets as laughter and chatter and clinking of glasses whisper from the buildings you pass by - the euphoric and magical feeling of it all

Beautiful, I love it better than the original. However - the original lasts longer. The longevity of this is poor. I will use it to compliment my Zara dupe of Libre, which has better staying power than this.

okay — this is beautiful. I don’t like the OG Libre because of how intense the lavender is but i smell the citrus’ more than the lavender in this flanker. I’m Definitely a fan of this.

Love how strong the citrus/orange blossom notes are. I feel like a sophisticated tangerine. I honestly am not getting any lavender from this though, which is a shame.

Really pleasant. Smells more sophisticated than some other Libre offerings. Worth a sniff.

I received a complementary sample of this fragrance. Please understand that I don't like the original Libre on myself. It's very masculine and perfumey and smells far better on others. However, I was not going to turn down a sample. If you're a Glossier fan, you may be familiar with their body care line-- the Body Hero oil and cream have an orange blossom neroli scent that they've never made into a perfume despite the demand from their core customers. I love the body care line and think they smell fantastic. YSL Libre L'Eau Nue smells like the perfume we've been asking for. It smells like a more expensive, more dimensional body hero oil. And since the perfume doesn't have any alcohol, it applies like a body oil as if to perfect my Glossier body routine. I was very pleasantly surprised by this scent. The powdery orange blossom is very sunshiny and warm for daytime wear. The lavender isn't masculine in this and reminds me of the lavender scent used in baby products instead of mens' fragrance. It's all around a very comforting scent and appropriate for the office due to it's moderate sillage and soft note composition. I could see myself purchasing this as a travel size, but it's not loud enough for my taste and I won't be going full size on this one. #GiftedbyYSLBeauty

Green mandarin is my very favorite citrus note, and I own some essential oil. And you know...I love to blend it with lavender too. I didn't expect to test this today at Ulta, but I'm glad I did. The mandarin smells almost exactly like my essential oil, and I can honestly say I'd recognize it even without it being listed in the notes...it's so accurate (and it just happens to be something I'm super familiar with). It says specifically *green* mandarin in the store listing, so I'm going off that. It has some resemblance to the original, but this is lighter, fresher, and somehow less unisex (who cares though wear what you love regardless of gender). It's that newschool, cleaned up, non-green type of orange blossom...very designer, very easy on the nose, nothing planty. It's followed by white laundry musk, which is a hallmark for GenZ's wave of perfume at this point. I really like it and think this would be a great easy reach, especially for corporate summers.

It’s a nice, orange blossomy laundry detergent - but not in a bad way. Drydown is when lavender starts to kick in. When I compared it to my review of original Libre I can see there are definitely a lot of similarities. One thing that’s different about this is it’s lighter, almost softer. Original Libre has a sharpness about it that this lacks. I feel like this one is a little safer in most environments, for example if you like the original Libre but it’s a little too strong for your work environment, this one is similar, friendlier, not as potent. For comparison this was how I described original Libre - “Dryer sheet/laundry detergent isle to start (lavender?) then more of a sweet floral (jasmine, orange blossom) dryer sheet/detergent, then woody powdery soft detergent *Edited -I think my first sample is old, it’s a golden brown color, new sample is clear. Second try - nice clean orange blossom white floral.”

Bought this thinking it was the regular Libre, but I'm definitely not disappointed! It has a decent longevity on the skin for me with moderate sillage, especially in those first few hours. Since it doesn't have alcohol, I put some in my hair, and it held on well. Same with my clothes! I got some on my sweatshirt when I first tried it, and I could still smell it the next day. As for the smell, I usually like STRONG, bright floral scents, but I think it is a safe, inoffensive option for work or school. I personally don't smell much citrus. I smell clean, bright florals with a hit of sweetness and warmth. The dry down is definitely a bit slower than my perfumes with alcohol, but it didn't leave an oily or tacky feeling after a few minutes, like other alcohol-free perfumes. The atomizer shoots out like a water gun, which I don't love, but, again, it dries down decently quickly, so it's not a huge deal for me.
