after i own the original opium and Opium Eau d'Orient 2006+2007 , i could say i appreciate opium line especially the limited edition, well done ysl. with no big different between them, the opium cruise you into spicy world mixed with woody and slight citrus, its bring the warming to you. opening spicy and keep on , then dry down to spicy with woody note longevity and sillage are good as krmarich says: YSL is no longer producing these surprising limited editions. Such a shame! only Opium Poesie de Chine i left , hope i get one before its too late.

Bought this fragrance today, initial spray wasn't that inviting but after 15-20 it started becoming creamier and more rounded, something alluring and delicious. Will add more info after thorough wearings.

Very rounded opening of spices and citrus. Reminds me of some chinese ointment, the pleasent kind of couse.I keep lifting up my wrist to inhale this mysterious scent because I really can't tell what in it. After a cloud of oriental smoke settled, more spices come out. Warm and soothing but still remains perplex and interesting. The sandalwood couldn't comes soon enough, but when it's there...oh so smooth and warm with a nice powdery background. A very soothing, comfort and warm fragrance.Exquisite blend. Definately a unisex.
