A Perfume In Rose

Missed this first time around but this is for the re-release in Sept 2023. It’s identical to Glossier You, I own both, everything I love about You it’s here and half the price for double the amount you get. A bit peppery, a bit pear-y sweet and dries down ambrette. It’s a skin scent, my smell but better, and great for days for you dont know what to wear or non-perfume perfume days. Best to wear it near pulse points as it need a little heat to radiate throughout the day. The You version smells different on everyone, some are more spicy than others and some are “skunky”. Love it or hate it, I love this, will be stocking up another couple bottles.

not sure why the name has roses in it because it doesn’t smell like roses at all. Glossier You is my signature scent and this one is about 95% close, only difference is the pear note but once it dries down smells the same to me. My bf can tell the difference between the two though he says he can really smell the pear note. But other than that it stills smells very good to him. Hope Zara brings it back because I already went through a 100ml bottle and love how it’s a cheap alternative to my signature scent - use it for the gym and errands :)

This is a very nice and simple perfume, an easy reach. I bought it because people compare it to Glossier You which is not available where I live. I must say - this has a great longevity! Specially on clothes. Lasted for an entire morning + a swimming lesson. Lingered on what I was wearing all day. However it does stay close to the skin. What I mostly detect here is ambrette and the freshness of the pear in the beginning. It’s not a rose forward fragrance despite its name. Definitely will reach a lot for it during spring/summer.

I got it after reading the reviews on Glossier's You dupe as I'm interested in that but don't have the budget for it. It works just like how it hoped it would, and some more! It has a nice, clean, sweet yet simple pear scent on the first spray. On fabric, it stays soft and musky throughout, but it works its magic on the spots I spray on my skin because the pepper smell comes through so refreshingly sharp. My partner found it funky, but i love it exactly because of how odd it is! I can't really smell the rose though...

I have both this and Glossier You, and let me tell you, A Perfume In Rose is better. Glossier You is great on its own but when I tried this, I now feel like Glossier You is missing something. You definitely don’t need both, but I will buy this fragrance over and over before I ever repurchase another bottle of Glossier You. When I’m in the mood for this kind of scent, Glossier You gets reached over to grab this one nearly every time. This is a winner from Zara for sure.
