Amber Ego

I love this, but I'll admit, I do love this for what it is. Just a hidden scent that Zara has not given much exposure to, being only available in the bottom shelf of their perfume section, if anything, and cheaper than most of the other fragrances, or maybe next to the cash machine. What you get here is a very coconuty fragrance, at 9,95 euros, with a fantastic name and presentation. This is very sexy and great for staying at home, good Netflix and chill, and good smell. The drydown turns incredibly masculine, and it is the best part by far. "Amber Ego - Amber is for mystical nights". What a nice concept. This is exactly what this is for. Do not try to go out with this, because it'll be gone in no time. Use it as I said, after a long day at work, you come home, have a shower and apply this, then maybe have some nice dinner, and talk with your significant other about anything fun. Now, if I could describe it in terms of other Zara scents, I'd say this is the point in between Gourmand Leather and Rich Warm Addictive, a softer version of those, which is exactly the reason why I like it so much. I got myself a bottle, and plan on getting another one, along with Grey Soul (another gem, if you ask me). I really love the pattern of this particular Zara line, with those 70's themed boxes and bottles, and for that price, this is a must have. 8.75/10.

Why this one is discontinued 😢. I miss this fragrance. It perfom really good. and smell great for its price point.

I'd say that the 2021 Zara Denim Tie and Die it's the same perfume. It also reminds me of Jean Paul Gualtier's Le Beau eau de toilette.

It does smell like the Armani one, but you already know that. One of best performers by Zara, unfortunately it gives me headache and can't wear it. If you are interested and missed out on this discontinued item try Virat Kholi One 8 sold at Chemist Warehouse, quite similar especially in the drydown

Smells like molten plastic and burnt sugar caramel. Could work on temperatures below 5C°. To my nose this is closer to Code Profumo than it is to SWY.

sorry, it's a no from me, just like the RWA this too smells like sun lotion, mainly because of the coconut-note present in both.

Anyone who has seen my Zara reviews knows that I love this house, even with their millions of Invictus clones. Zara has made a big push before the 2K19 Christmas season to release 9 new fragrances, and so far none of them have disappointed me, which is huge. This is probably my 22nd purchase from the house and to anyone wanting to know, this is an immediate buy for anyone liking soft powdery type scents. This is very similar Georgio Armani stronger with you, so for anyone wondering if the comparisons are correct, they are. Obviously it’s not as strong but it’s just a beautiful smelling cologne that my GF instantly approves, and guys she’s picky as hell. The amber in this is soft, and the coconut isn’t piercing at all. It’s got a little sweetness from the apple/amber and is just really pleasant. You won’t get super amounts of longevity, but it’s a nice change in pace from Zara’s constant interpretations of Invictus, even if it’s another interpretation of another commercial cologne, I’m all in. I’m giving this a 7/10 and would easily give it an 8 if it lasted a little longer. It’s an above average scent!

Very nice fragrance. Very sweet and elegant. If you like RWA then you should try this one. Forget about the notes, all you have here is amber, a lot of vanilla and maybe just a little bit of coconut. It's a very simple fragrance, nothing complex about it but it's very pleasant. I love the vanilla in this one and I think it's the same exact vanilla you get in RWA. Projection is weak and it projects about 2 hours. Longevity is ok. Very inoffensive. I would say it's perfect for a date. Pretty good for the price.

Warm and sweet. Synthetic and sun-creamy. I get bitter orange, amber, coconut, some spices. Zara RWA flavored orange jam. Ever-so-slightly similar to Versace Eros. I haven't tried SWU.

Smells nice, but - it's cheap and disappointing. Poor longevity and performance. Don't waste your money.
