Cocoa 01 Collection Spirit

Unique and good, Zara's on the point once more. Whiskey-tobacco note is subtle and not nauseating while coconut makes this approacable. It is like an elder, more serious brother of rich warm addictive. It is kind of hard to describe, if you are interested in these notes, definitely try it. Only downside I can give is that it feels like it mixes everything in, and blend is not fully able to balance it. Also it is a bit synthetic, but compared to the 02 it is something I can fully ignore. It has 7 hours performance for me. radiates good on first few hours but it is more of an skin scent for the most of it's life.

Chocolatey boozy scent. Unfortunately, my skin seems to absorb it very quickly. I wish the whiskey note lasted a bit longer... Similar to Rich Warm Addictive, just spicier/more masculine.

Got this together with the 02 collection. It’s a good gourmand scent but very nauseating if over sprayed. Lasts about 2 hours unfortunately but what can you expect for the price

The opening is very reminiscent of Rich Warm Addictive by Zara. Sampling it on paper, you would almost find that it was something that would be very redundant to own if you already have Rich Warm Addictive. On your skin, that’s where I do get some differences. To my nose, Rich Warm Addictive is smoother, a bit flatter if you may, whereas Spirit is definitely spicier. Maybe it’s something that is just in my head because of the fact that it’s in the notes, but I do almost feel like I can notice the difference in the booziness in these two fragrances, with this one having whiskey as opposed to RWA having the rum. I still feel like it could very much so be considered a flanker to Rich Warm Addictive, which Zara doesn’t state. The only thing it has in common with it as far as marketing goes is the bottle design and color – because they have already used that bottle in a blue color for very summery scents as well. It’s quite nice. Very much so unisex to my nose. Most people probably would not need both Spirit as well as Rich Warm Addictive, honestly. Which one I would recommend is hard to tell. I guess it depends on whether you’d want a smoother experience, in Rich Warm Addictive, or a spicier version, in which case I recommend Spirit.

I have blind-bought this one alongside the 02 collection and it's a nice, non-offensive smell. It opens up boozy and spicy, but wears down to a cozy, warm, and pleasant smell. It's nice, but nothing to write home about. The sillage is definitely intimate, and much like most of ZARA's perfumes, it's not long-lasting either. It's branded "for men", but the scent is definitely unisex. For the price it's definitely worth it, especially if you're into gourmand fragrances.

A pretty high quality scent. Sweet coconut, whiskey base, and a richness that makes this a more adult kind of sweet scent. Definitely luxurious and seductive. A like but not a love for me, maybe just a little too sweet to wear all day, although thats just my taste. Very pleasant though. Performance is very strong too Side note this does not smell like jazz club at all. Ignore that suggestion

Just tried this at the store and holy moly! A punch in the face of coconut, chocolate and whiskey. Talk about gourmand! It smells delicious, but why anyone wants to walk around smelling like this, couldn't tell you. I don't think it really smells like Rich Warm Addictive, beyond the coconut. That one's more like Hawaiian Tropic suntan oil (with tobacco). This Cacao 01 is like one of those chocolate bonbons with the liquor inside.

This is a very good, strong and delicious perfume It starts with a very strong cocoa and a little glimpse of coconut. When it cools down it starts to become a different scent. The cocoa almost disappears then whiskey, vanilla and truffle take the place. A very good winter fragrance for people who are into strong perfumes.

This is amazing! Think of rich warm addictive with a bewitching cocoa powder sensation and even more roundness. Cocoa powdered woodiness and warm balsamic coconut aspects. I think I m also getting some whiskey! 😍
