Cocoa Bliss

My favourite! Deep but not too heavy for everyday wear, deliciously gourmand with smooth cocoa and vanilla, powdery and sweet fruit punch with passionfruit/peach to me, that lingers with the cocoa on the dry-down and gives a gorgeous, summery, slightly flirty and playful scent. I’d describe the combo of powdery notes with the chocolate and the lactonic vanilla as velvety- it lasts for about 5-6 hours on my skin. I often spray it at bedtime as it’s become my comfort scent now (and I have seven bottles, whoops)😭 Deeper and less linear than the other two in the cocoa collection to me, would say it’s a similar level of chocolate to Cocoa & Latte and more gourmand than Cocoa Sunset, but slightly more nuanced and interesting than Cocoa & Latte as the fruits give some tart sweetness. Smoother than Cocoa Sunset, really reminds me of those Hotel Chocolate velvetiser hot chocolates in texture, feels youthful but the powdery notes and tart fruits give it a little sultry sparkle.

Wearing this perfume again today, I decided I had to leave a review. I never had much interest in Zara perfumes. I owned one bottle about 20 years ago, but I was never really impressed with it. Over the past few years, I’ve mostly been spending my money on vintage Guerlain fragrances like Chamade, Jicky, and L’Heure Bleue. But Cocoa Bliss is a surprisingly wonderful addition to my collection! It’s creamy and warm, not overly sweet, and reminds me of Dior Addict EDP, Kenzo World Power, and a Rituals hand cream I used to have. :-) Cocoa Bliss is not a linear perfume, and it lasts all day. Excellent value! I even bought a backup bottle when it was on sale. It now sits next to my 1935 vintage Guerlain extrait. It’s a love for me. Suitable for both day and night, and I expect it to perform very well year-round (although I’ve only worn it in spring and summer so far). Get yourself a bottle while it’s still on sale before it’s gone!!

I just received my order in the mail today and I will say that I’m extremely pleased with this fragrance overall. I believe that it’s both fall and summer weather friendly. I have sprayed it on my arm after opening the packaging and it has lasted for about a good four hours on my skin. The notes I mostly receive from this are peach and rather than cocoa , I smell mostly a vanilla fragrance. There are quite a few other fragrances that would pair with this beautifully , and rather than letting it age for awhile , I’m going to go ahead and wear it thoroughly this evening and tomorrow. Highly recommended !

I am reading all the reviews and i don’t understand any of them honestly... this perfume is absolutely delicious. I’d swear this has some cherry in it if i didn’t know about the notes. It is giving a little bit of donna born in roma with a fruity tropical note (it has to be the passionfruit, although to me it smells more like cherry lol). Actually i like to layer it with DBIR and it is perfection. Super underrated in my opinion. It is a sexy, seductive, fruity sweet scent with a hint of white florals (i know they are not listed but i do smell them). Amazing for layering.

If you are a fan of Angel or Angel Muse, then you will like this. Not dupes or even cousins, but the way the dark chocolate is used here, I mean. I also think if you like SJP Covet, you would like this. It's just punchy and unexpected. A really cool fragrance--gourmand but not your run-of-the-mill vanilla scent. Passionfruit gives it a tropical edge. It's not super sweet--almost unisex.

I love chocolate perfumes so I had to try this and it's gorgeous. Chocolatey and spicy with sweet notes of fruit. It's presented in an expensive looking bottle and I can't believe it's only £19.99 for a 100 ml EDP! So good I've bought a second bottle for winter.

In my opinion this is a much more juicy, summer-y take on cheirosa 62’s vanilla-centered warm fragrance. It performs much better than 62 obviously and I almost prefer it cause it’s less generic and more playful Definitely considering it to be my summer staple

My favorite of the Cocoa collection! When i first smelled it i got a note of caramel and pistachio, really similar to Sol de Janeiro 62 so i layer them together and it creates an amazing scent that is really long lasting.

I'm surprised how good this is for under £20 for 100ml and it's an EDP! It's sophisticated and a couple of sprays lasts about 6 hours.It's creamy but not sweet ,with a spicy chocolate note .

This is the best of the 3. I sniffed it in ZARA and fell in love - however they did not have a bottle in stock. So I will be ordering online. Deff a lovely fruity coco chocolate vibe.

Smells really good. Not even closer to any cough syrup. I get lots of compliments. People ask for the name. Sweet and delicious.

Fruity chocolate, it is deliciously tropical. Pretty straight forward in terms of notes. I was pleasantly surprised. Cute for spring and summer, affordable. Overall cute find.

I very much enjoy this scent, you can really smell the chocolate and passion fruit! However it does have that recognisable 'Zara smell'

Don’t buy this thinking it’s a cocoa fragrance, I get absolutely no cocoa at all. Instead it’s fruity and candy-ish and it actually smells a lot like Kayali Vanilla Candy rock sugar. Not at all what I expected.

Yummy.If it had patchouli it would had been more similar to EDT Angel Muse.It smells like dark chocolate and fruit syrup. Edit: It gets a bit nutty and musky reminds me of This is Her by Zadig Voltaire too.

Smelled like the glue sticks we used in school back in the eighties. My hubby smelled my wrist and agreed. They smelled like almond pudding, a common dessert back then. Not my cup of tea.

Bliss is less Sweet than others 2 of series. Vanillic & fruity sweet in dry down some notes of baccarat rouge 540 comes out.

too synthetic for me & not well blended.

I received 3 compliments today although I don’t like it and just want to finish the bottle. I feel it leans way more on the masculine side which I’m personally not fond of when wearing a fragrance. Dark chocolate, ripe passion fruit , a bit of leather , could be ambrozan but there’s some sort of spice/heat/alcohol/sharpness that is overpowering what could have been a very smooth fragrance

I’m so mad I blind purchased this . It smells very strong, bitter, possibly the fact that it’s mostly alcohol and barely any quality fragrance oils ? None of the notes mentioned here were detected by my nose, maybe just the passionfruit submerged in that headache inducing concoction.

I work with a lady who wears this. I think it’s a beautiful scent, I was surprised to hear it had notes of cocoa as it usually smell very synthetic to me. I would describe the it as clean and inviting. A very comforting scent, as if you’ve washed your clothes in a beautiful fabric conditioner and the aroma lingers through your home, then sitting by a fire feeling cozy with a warm bowel of sticky toffee pudding and custard on top. All the aromas waft through the air creating a light floral sweet cloud that’s not overpowering but passes your nose occasionally. I also appreciate that I can only smell it when she’s standing only a few feet from me as I often find many perfumes headache inducing, but not this one.

Now I don't know about chocolate, passion fruit or peach. All I smell is a warm woody non distinct sticky sweet mix. It strongly gives khamra Qahwa and I don't know why it's not on the "This perfume reminds me of" list. I don't hate it, I don't love it. I just like it. I first smelled it on a colleague and decided to get it for myself since she receives tons of compliments from almost all of the other colleagues lol.

Creía que era chocolate negro e flores, pero al ver las notas me sorprendió que tiene maracuyá, dentro de poco volveré a zara para traerlo a casa. Para mí es un olor diferente, dulce y fresco al mismo tiempo, no empalagoso

It’s not bad, it’s a pretty pleasant scent though i imagined there is a coconut note? Regardless, it’s somewhat moderate on skin, naturally lasts longer on clothing but i don’t think this is one of their best assets to be fair. I like it but it’s a slight meh from me, i just use it as an air freshener for my room

Smooth, round, no sharp edges. Mostly vanilla with a tasty peachy top. I would say the base cocoa note is soft, like milk chocolate. To my nose I also get some kind of white flower scent, but not strong, just as a tingeling top note. Definately a keeper, even though Im not a gourmand lover. Easy everyday wear.

A very pleasant perfume. In my opinion, unisex even better to wear in the cold season. It integrates well into the Rosendo Mateu no 5 family and the clones derived from it. Good performance, 8h+ longevity, outstanding projection the first 3 hours. It is a good purchase at a reduced price of 12-14 Euro.

This smells SO good!!! I sprayed this on my wrist at Zara and 10 hours later I still smell it very well on my wrist! It’s very warm I’d say and punchy in the opening from the passion fruit. Really nice! Definitely going back to buy it

This is quiet interesting,different,it last long hours and sticks to your clothes forever comparing to Zara perfumes I found it unique and complements getter I only wish if it was less citrusy but definitely to keep in my collection

I wouldn't have got this was passion fruit without reading it... it's nice...but.. probably my least favourite of the 3 though...hard to really pinpoint any particular notes...kind of a hint of a powdery chocolate.

This is the one I believe will be the best out of the three new cocoa range. I can't wait to try it. *Update- I tried it and didn't like it. Where's the dark chocolate?

I think this is the Best of the three cocoas. Nice perfume with a hint of chocolate and Splash of good type of average feminine perfume. More on the fruity side.

Fruity, tropical, sweet. Sol de Janeiro or Escada type. Quite young. It is pleasant, but nothing special. Nice for warmer days.

can't define how or why it is cocoa, it's sweet fruity, amd almost like it has a bit of floral but maybe 15%

Chocolate + leather. If you layer choco musk with a leather fragrance you will get this. It did smell good.

Very sour dark chocolate. The notes don’t go together. Total mess. No cocoa or pleasant smell.
