Deep Garden

I liked Deep Garden more when I kept trying the tester in store on various occasions because I kept smelling my arm at the later drydown which is fabulous and more unique than the opening and mid phase. Somewhat sour for a minute at first, due to the pear influence, but it's rather sweet right off the bat. It also has a freshness to it at first. It really is a Deep Garden because the tonka adds depth and a vanilla-like sweetness to it. It really reminds me of celebrity sweet scents due to that. It also has a salty vibe from the pear. The white floral aspect, the tuberose in this case, offering a bubblegummy milky nuance, paired with the almondy sweet tonka and the pear, come off a tad sickly sweet like some white floral vanilla-berries celebrity scents. From similar sweet white floral scents I get a fishy effect which is hard to explain and it's possibly due to the pairing of milky white floral notes with berries and vanilla. The most similar perfume to Deep Garden that comes to mind is Justin Bieber's Someday perhaps due to the sweet deep notes and the salty pear in both. Someday leans masculine at times tho and it has that fishy undertone to it due to the jasmine and the berries with the latter rendering it even deeper as a scent. The next one Deep Garden reminds me of is Pink Friday which features pear too while the jasmine creates a similar effect to the tuberose in this, while the blackberry deepens the sweet aspect of the scent. Deep Garden is more wearable than both, less fishy than both and I liked its deep vanilla-like tonka sweetness. Flora Gorgeous Gardenia is also in this sweet white floral league, featuring pear, red berries (like Someday) and gardenia. Tuberose is less heady than gardenia. It's like the tonka in Deep Garden mimics the deep sweetness of the red berries or the blackberry found in the other scents. Lightly Bloom and Nude Bouquet didn't impress me, they're both fresh but on the screechy side.

Love the smell, it's not a Good Girl dupe, though has similar vibe. This one is not screechy, it's smooth, pretty, feminine, but not sweet - more like adult fragrance. I love it and i do overspray it, but it just doesn't stay - 1 hour is a total max. It's a shame, because the perfume is amazing, very pleasing and everyone around me loved it. Recommend, but you have to carry the bottle with you.
