Enigmatic Lotus

Enigmatic Lotus throws a delectable scent bubble—candied figs dripping in syrup, evoking a glossed, honeyed fruit Danish fresh from the oven. It’s not a natural fig but a rich, jammy mix of cooked stone fruits, melting into a plush, nectarous accord. The outer silage is where it primarily shines—airy yet thick with sweetness, like the tantalising steam of a pastry shop. Up close, a synthetic edge does peek through quite a bit, giving it an artificial sort of glaze. Still, it’s a very unique take on fig, skipping the usual green or milky facets for a deeply sugared, dessert-like coziness.

FUCKING PHENOMENALLLLLL. Let me begin by saying, when I smelt this for the first time I literally took a step back. I was not expecting something so unique, something like nothing I’ve ever smelled before, to come from a Zara perfume. I’ll also state right now that because of this, I do not think that enigmatic lotus will be for everyone but it is for me! It’s hard to describe the scent, but to my nose I’m picking up figs, pear, lotus and something else I can’t quite put my finger on. This isn’t your average basic pear, this is the biggest, juiciest pear that’s so ripe it’s almostttt on the verge of turning bad, but if you bite into it RIGHT NOW it’ll be the most delicious tasting pear you’ve ever had in your entire life. It’s super smooth and spectacularly blended, the fig (I think it’s fig) is gorgeous, the lotus is also amazing, it’s all blended sooo well. Honestly this right here could be sold as a niche fragrance and people would pay hundreds. I FEEL like I’m wearing a niche perfume when I wear this, not to mention, the longevity and protection are CRAZY. I’m just blown away at how such a quality, completely unique perfume can be so cheap. Imagine a summer day somewhere in the south, where the air is thick with the scent of ripe pears and lush figs. This is my impression of the fragrance. On my skin the fragrance opens with the sweet embrace of pear, its juicy notes dancing playfully on the skin, mingling effortlessly with the warmth of fig, which brings a deeper, almost honeyed sweetness. Unfortunately I don’t get much lotus. It's a scent that wraps you in a gentle, fruity embrace, perfect for the carefree days of summer days. To me the longevity is impressive. The price feels almost too good to be true. This perfume is a testament to the beauty found in simplicity.
