Eternal Devotion

This is one of my favourite perfumes ever. I think Zara did a great job hiring Jerome Epinette for this line. First of all, this is a very balanced combination between blackcurrant and pink pepper. The opening is wonderful with that peppery note. I might compare it to Amethyst by Lalique, which also has blackcurrant in the opening notes, but I prefer Eternal Devotion much more. Lalique is much soapier on me and even suffocating, while this one feels fresh and bold, lots of personality, but not overpowering. After 30-60 minutes, the scent gets sweeter and more “wearable”, but I still like it very much. I wore it today and it lasted up to 6 hours and went through different phases, so the scent was changing throughout the day. I really liked the longevity (but you have to spray generously, otherwise it won’t last as long. However, I’ve noticed that too much of it could be a little suffocating for the people around you) I think this is quite a versatile fragrance, however, you need to be in the mood for it. Overall: great, 9/10

Been eyeing this for months and finally bit the bullet and purchased it. Love at first sniff as expected by the note pyramid. Such a shame Zara is discontinuing it.

It's like a sweeter delina vibe with guava and a bit of Si armani. The spiciness from pink pepper mixes nicely with the syrupy sweetness from blackcurrants. I can smell the rose clearly, it doesn't take over but is more in the background of guava and lychee. The base becomes more sugary and airy, I don't feel any patchouli. Beautiful fragrance! Also, my son told me "this perfume smells like YOU!" That made me happy, because yes, I love and have many perfumes with lychee, rose and blackcurrant,

I'm surprised that I actually like it a lot. I can clearly smell blackcurrant and rose--a syrupy and jammy rose. It smells sweet and sour, like Turkish delight. I can almost taste it in my mouth when I smell it. It's very sweet, strong, simple, and artificial compared to other perfumes I usually wear. Performance is good on me. I hope it comes in smaller bottles (only 100ml available in my local stores); I like it but can't imagine myself wearing it often.

This one smells exactly like Turkish delight with rose! As we say in Bulgaria "lokum" 🫶

I just got it and as first impression I wouldn't call this light perfume. Maybe it is just me but this gives of a vibe or really potent grown up rose perfume. It gives a dark, feminine night time fragrance with lots of rose, blackcurrant and incense-like scent. This does not need intense version (as Moonlight whisper) sine it is already potent enough. Also this is not just another Zara's perfume in a new bottle - could reminiscent Delina-alike - Fashionably London just a bit, but it is not Thursday No valentines but flowers. Also it is not dupe for Angel Nova since Nova is way sweeter that this one. For you to blind buy it you have to love scent of rose, black currant and incense -like scent (patchouli). I feel this would be way more suitable for winter as well.

Sugared patchouli and rose. It reminds me of Angel Nova but it’s less jammier and earthier. This developed very sugary on my skin, much sweeter than Nova. The guava is nice but I passed it on since I hoped for a less rose centric fragrance. It is lovely but it’s rose and patchouli dominant. The most unique aspect is how well it fairs in heat, the sugar note shines on hot skin.

On skin at first spray is obnoxiously fruity and little too sweet, but after that & the down is surprisingly good and the sweetness is gone for the most part. It kinda gives hints of delina. Kind of.
