Fleur d'Oranger

I got my first bottle in early Summer of 2022 and all I sprayed back then was this fragrance. I recently got my hands on my second bottle, after weeks of waiting for it to be in stock again. They’ve changed the bottle, not sure why but it still looks nice though. I’m not sure if it’s the fact that it’s been a while since I’ve smelled this perfume or what but I feel like it’s a tad bit sharper and soapy than it used to be. As far as I know, they did not reformulate it although it’d say they did change it a bit, at least according to my nose and scent memory. It’s still beautiful nonetheless, I’d say it’s quite extraordinary in its simplicity. It’s linear and potent. I think it’s perfect for spring and summer, could be an elegant and rather inoffensive every day scent. I really really like it. It definitely does not smell like a Zara perfume (and technically it’s not). I’d say definitely give it a try If you like orange blossom and don’t mind the soapyness :) Edit: False alarm, I think the sharpness of the opening made me think they’ve changed the formula but after an hour or so, as It starts to develop, I can tell it smells the same as the one in the old bottle. Orange blossom, powdery/soapy ylang ylang and class. Gorgeous!

Good durability and projection combine with an excellent quality-price ratio, which therefore guarantees an infallible purchase. I'm very surprised that this is just as nice as Fragonard's Mon Oranger at a much cheaper price. I actually prefer this as it is a little deeper, headier thanks to the ylang, and not as sheer and light as Mon Oranger. And though I like Prada Infusion de Fleur d'Oranger, which is another orange blossom fragrance I considered purchasing a fb, this smells better to me and outperforms that too. At least I can smell this without resorting to sniffing my wrists. The true test will come in the height of the summer, which is my favorite time to wear neroli and orange blossom fragrances, and whether this can stand up to high humidity and heat. Prada can't. Mon Oranger can. I'm hoping this can too. Though this does open up with neroli and a small dose of ylang for depth, in the end, it is all about the orange blossom and it is simple and beautifully done. There is a reason Jo Malone's fragrances are so popular. She seems to be the queen of simple, elegant perfumes. Well, she did a fine job with this, as it smells every bit as nice as something from her own line. Bravo, Ms. Malone, you did an excellent job!

This reminds me of Artisan Pure by John Varvatos. Not an exact copy of course, Artisan Pure is much higher quality and deeper regarding the presence of other notes. But the over-arcing smell, which actually also reminds me of suncream a bit is present here as well. This is a very easy to wear, super fresh perfume and it even lasts more than 4 hours on my skin, which is ok for a fresh and cheap summer scent. The opening half hour to an hour it even radiates within arms length, before quickly becoming a pure skin scent after that. If you spray this on your clothes, it might last you an entire day. But that said, the Emotions line is by far the most expensive from Zara. At about 26.-€ per 90ml bottle and it is designated as an Eau de Parfum concentration, so you should expect this kind of performance, as it is advancing into a territory in which you can sometimes pick up heavily discounted designer fragrances or underrated cheapies as well.

I have a vials set of this collection from Zara, and this one is my favorite cheapie now! I bought a 40ml bottle after tried it for a while. Totally agree with @Maiazo that this perfume is real springs day in a bottle. If you like a simple, monogamy neroli scent, this perfume is for you. Neroli is my favorite white flower, so it gave me lot of joys while using! But if you are the type who like experiencing the changing of complex scents in a perfume, this could be a boring thing to you. IMO the longervity of spray version is weaker than the vial which apply directly to skin. The vial version is long lasting in my wrist - about 7 hours, but when I use spraying bottle it’ll fade after 4 hours and need to re-spray.

Very pleasant surprise. I was afraid it was a bit to feminine leaning for me (male) when I tested it in the shop. Purchased a bottle while it was on sale and have been wearing it for a week. I'd say its very pleasant light but airy floral similar to 4711 in its nature, and completely unisex. You'll smell clean and fresh and offend no one. As a bonus, it does last well, 5-6 hours later I was getting wafts off my clothes. I purchases a back up bottle while on special, and now they are all out of stock. It works well for me as its very hot 30+ degrees C and very humid (Live in the far east) at the moment. Its just perfect. Great for a day out, but happy to spray on a night out in an outdoor restaurant.

Starts with a punchy orange smell and a couple of minutes later you're left with a nice bakery smell. So basically, you start smelling like citrus orange that suddenly turns into a nice orange cake, to give you a better image of what goes on with this. It is actually really pleasant, though it may sound a bit weird just from reading my description. Duration is pretty alright and sillage is also good. I smell this on me for some time after I've sprayed it. Better suited for spring, cold summer days, or early autumn. I don't really see this for really hot days. Nice one, Zara! 7.5/10.

I just got a bottle of the newest release from Zara. The new bottle is gorgeous. Black collar, with a black magnetized top. It smells a little different from the older version. The opening is more realistic orange blossom with a slight sour undertone. The dry down is the same. White flowers, then yellow flowers. This is my absolute favorite. My only wish (as noted by multiple reviews) is that this lasted longer. But as this is an inexpensive, excellent perfume I can reapply as needed. Don’t buy older bottles on reseller sites. Go to Zara and get the new one.

I purchased a bottle after smelling this on a stranger in a bar and finding it amazing. Thanks, stranger, for sharing your secrets with a fragrance-loving weirdo! It's pretty much the clean soapy fragrance of my dreams. Smells like expensive soap: strong on the orange blossom and white florals, warm, not very sweet. Perfect for summer, or just days when I want to feel fresh and sharp. It's pretty linear, but after many hours I get a lovely drydown that is a little bit more powdery/musky on me, which I also love. It sticks to clothes like a magnet.

An easy reach fragrance is something that I’ve come to increasingly appreciate. For summer, this is certainly it. It’s a simple orange blossom/ylang ylang scent, and I really don’t detect much else. It’s beautifully soapy, creamy, slightly but not overly powdery, and floral fresh. No sharp citrus edge here. It’s an immediate dopamine hit! I personally like that that it’s linear and not too overpowering. The sillage is moderate, and it smells beautiful throughout. As it dries down, it blends into the skin nicely. Simplicity is sometimes a virtue.

Very affordable Zara fragrances and highly sought after collaboration with Jo Loves’ Jo Malone herself. Very pleasing orange blossom scent, like stepping onto an orange grove. The neroli gives it just a little bit more spiciness to it. So popular it was impossible to find in Malaysia for 3 years, I finally had to get it overseas to complete my ‘Zara Emotions’ collection. Update: 10 OCT 2023 After getting ‘Artisan’ from John Varvatos today, I realised ‘ Fleur d'Oranger’ smells so much like it but has more bitterness. I like both!!

As I am a fan of white floral perfumes, this perfume suits me very well. Neroli gives it freshness, while orange blossom and ylang ylang give it an elegant feminine touch. It is not complex, but it is sophisticated, easy to wear and suitable for a variety of occasions in the summer time. I also have the Amalfi Sunray perfume from the same series, I wouldn't say they are that much alike, because the latter is dominated by citrus, while Fleur d'Oranger is more floral with a citrus touch.

Loooove! If you like a clean sent with neroli in it, this is for you. Clean, bright, elegant. What could go wrong? 3-6 hours longevety on clothes and skin. It personally gives me a good vibe. Price is super adorable. The bottle looks fine. The atomiser is super. Ofcs you should spray more than 4 times to be noticed. Overall this is a neroli scent created by Jo Malone and you can feel her touch in this masterpiece. Considering the price I would say 10/10.

I've never smelled TF Neroli Portfoino, so I can't speak to that comparison, but Fleur d'Oranger is an elegant, clean, orange blossom-neroli fragrance from start to finish. I get a lot of sweetness upfront, which subsides with time. This smells far more expensive than it is, which at $40 / 90ml is a steal. All the Zara Emotions fragrances by Jo Loves were designed to be worn alone or layered, so I plan on playing around with the other four I purchased.

Most sophisticated, beautiful orange blossom perfume. Because of neroli is so refreshing, and because od ylang ylang is a little bit creamy. I prefer to wear it during summer when I want something fresh and uplifting. It lasts for 8 hours; I put a few sprays this morning when I went to work and now is 5pm and I can still feel it. I think that this wonderful perfume is in my top three of all time; I could tell this is my signature summer scent.

A nostalgic soapy orange blossom scent, to me very reminiscent of summers spent at the countryside getting bathed in this soapy bath. I'm a big fan of orange blossom as it evokes very bright and childhood-like experiences for me. Would buy a full bottle scent of this in a heartbeat if it wasn't for the longevity. If Tom Ford's Neroli Portofino is identical to this, I'll have to go ahead and buy a bottle.

Very affordable and lovely. I do think it's a rather linear scent, but I don't mind that. The first time I sprayed, it was on my wrists and I smelled it for about an hour tops. However, when I spray it on my neck, it keeps on coming up for 6-8 hours. I like layering this with fruity-florals that aren't coying--something like Jo Malone EPF. A must-get for orange blossom lovers.

A decent dupe for JM Orange Blossom. This one does not have the sparkling juicy tartness opening of JM Orange Blossom, it is more sweet. The dry-down however is very very similar. It is gentle and refreshing and lasts a long time on clothes. Excellent to layer with JM Orange Blossom or with any other perfume. I spritz this on liberally before going to bed. So delightful!!

A cleaner, crisper budget friendly version of JM Orange Blossom. A less saltier, more feminine version of Amalfi Sunray... This is really lovely for holidays! And I mean vacations not Christmas... white linen dress, leather sandals and away you go. Beautiful scent, keeps everyone happy but won’t be a ground breaking phenomenon. But not all fragrances need to be.

Guess this is the same one also called Neroli? tested it on zara today and it's spring in a bottle, Lol! it's so great, reminds me of those first real spring days after a long winter when everything starts to bloom at the same time. it's creamy, fresh and bitter at the same time. I just took one spray and i can still smell it 5 hours later.

Excellent neroli/orange blossom scent. It has a fresh, bitter taste that I like. Perfect for white t-shirt days -- simple, effective, and pleasant. If you want a neroli/orange blossom scent, at this price, this is an absolute grab. However if you're looking for something special or individual you might want to try something else instead.

This perfume gives me straight Agua de Colonia vibes, which are very popular in Latinamerica. I love the freshness and the floral elements of this fragrance. It is definitely not a citrus fragrance but a soapy white floral. It surprisingly lasts a while on my skin, and I could smell it on my clothes after days, a must for summer days.

I am a fan of fresh elegant neroli/ orange blossom fragrances and so I knew I'd naturally fall in love with this fragrance. It's not at all innovative or different but still it is beautiful and perfect for an everyday day time wear. For the price is it is a steal. If you're searching for something unique avoid this one.

Neroli is probably my favorite perfume ingredient, so this one was an easy love for me. It’s a pretty straightforward neroli scent—simple, but in the best way. I catch whiffs of it on myself throughout the day, so the sillage feels quite strong. There’s also a faintly churchy undertone to it, which I really enjoy.

A fresh, clean floral - unmistakably orange blossom - with a hint of citrus. Jo Malone Orange Blossom is my favorite perfume of all time, but is sadly expensive and short-lasting. Fleur D'Oranger smells very, very similar but is affordable enough to apply generously, and I think it does last a little longer.

Simple, creamy and classy. It’s a straight up orange blossom scent to me which reminded me of Jo Malone’s Orange Blossom that I never ever could justify purchasing. Fleur D’Oranger is perfect for springtime, might be slightly heady for summer (+30 degrees). Longevity is not bad at all (around 5 hours).

Holy crap! I paid $360 for TF Neroli Portofino and $17.99 for a bottle of this. And guess what? The Zara outlasts the TF. It’s elegant and refined, yet incredibly affordable. Now I’m going to want to smell a lot more from Zara.

This is a gorgeous, 1 note, orange scent. The best one I've tried. Great sillage. Longevity is about two to three hours. People just love this. I think it makes them happy.

wonderful smell and excellent quality, but it is useless to buy it. longevity does not go beyond 10 minutes. 8/10 for the smell. 0/10 for performances.

A powdery, citrusy orange blossom scent that is so fresh, clean and lightly sweet. I'm glad that it is back in stock with a new packaging. I love it!

PSA (& reiterating comments below): if you have been looking for a perfume that smells like Glossier Body Hero lotion/body wash, you found it!

Please never discontinue this, it’s exactly like néroli Portofino. Keep your money and prefer this, it’s such a clean, lovely scent.

an absolute orange blossom masterpiece!

This clean, soapy cologne is simple and inoffensive, fresh and very linear. It is another bargain citrus scent from Jo Malone's Zara Emotions line. While it is nothing groundbreaking and has limited performance, it is pleasant and good-quality - excellent for its price point. The orange blossom note is not the syrupy synthetic type that populates many current designer releases - it is much fresher and more realistic. FO has a lush citrus-floral neroli opening, slightly green, and bolstered to perfection by sweet yet realistic orange blossom. However, it doesn't develop much - it just smells like good-quality soap when it settles. Overall, it is a beautiful, fresh, natural-smelling orange blossom soliflore. Pleasant and citrus-y fresh, it is clean and unchallenging with a soapy drydown. I agree with @frc2n below - it does smell strangely like a glue stick at times. Sillage is moderate, but longevity is poor. It is feminine-leaning in my opinion. Although this kind of thing has been done many times before, FO is a decent bargain version with mass appeal, and works well as a subtle, summer daytime scent. One of my favourites of this line, I like to reapply it liberally in hot weather. Like the rest of this line, it is very good for its price point. 3.5/5.

Rather than calling this soapy, I would call it shampooey--because for me soapy means 'powdery' whereas shampooey means very fresh bright floral-citrus. This really reminds me a lot of Garnier Fructis, but with more of a greenness to it. It also reminds me a lot of Jo Malone's own Nectarine Blossom & Honey--but this is a bit more straightforward. They both share that Garnier Fructis shampooey element. I don't think this is similar to the Prada Infusion de fleur d'oranger, because the Prada is soapy and powdery (I actually prefer the Prada). Since I love the scent of Garnier Fructis but it doesn't work for my hair type, I see this as a way to experience that vibe. It really makes you smell fresh out of the shower but not like you are wearing perfume per se, so it is nice for situations where you aren't really trying to express your personality, just to smell clean.

Wow. Safe blind buy if you love TF Neroli, i agree with one of the older reviews. There is a sharpness in the beginning. Reviewer said citrus sharp.. i would call it slightly sharp like rubbing alcohol, but very mild. Similar to Muelhens Original 4711, which is not deep/oily the way TF is. TFs version does not have that sharpness, to me it's more oily of the Neroli. I prefer this one over the TF one, it gets slightly more soapy; in the best way possible. Zara also makes another fragrance that too smells very similar to TF NP, which is Amalfi Sunray. I think these two, layered would be amazing together, which is would keep it smelling "bright". This one is almost identical to TF. Whereas Amalfi Sunray is like a diluted version.

Recently started my fragrance journey, and decided to try to some cheapies first. I read the reviews of the Zara/JM collab, and decided to try a few, mostly rollers. But reading the reviews for this one, plus my instint, told me to get the 40ml instead, and I was right. I absolutely love this scent! On me, it's a lovely light white floral. Can smell the orange blossom mainly. Sillage is good (2 feet) and longevity is epic. It's cheap, so you can apply as much as you want. Hard to wash off even after showering etc. I'm thinking of getting the rollerball for easy on-the-go touchups. Right now I prefer this over all the other scents I've got. It's a perfect casual daytime scent. My husband also loves this on me, so that's a plus.

It lasts average on my skin but on clothes it is nuclear! I wore this fragrance 10 days ago with the first spray applied on my left wrist to test it. The sleeve of my wool sweater covered it for the rest of the day. Today I wore this sweater again and the left sleeve of my sweater is actually perfuming my left wrist and hand. Really nice fragrance. Similar to 4711 Kölnisch Wasser and Ferrari's Bright Neroli. I like this Zara better than the Ferrari. It smells more natural and a bit fuller, more juicy. The Bright Neroli is a bit dryer, its sillage (not the aroma) is actually more like Zara's Vetiver Pampelmousse. To me 4711 is still unbeaten, but it lacks the longevity and projection the Zara has. Thumbs up!

If I designed the advert for this fragrance, it would feature people wearing white walking through an orange farm surrounded by blooming flowers. It is a very calming smell but it can be quite overwhelming in the opening so go easy on the number of sprays. It is quite linear and doesn't really change over the life of the fragrance. I smell orange oil (like orange rind), white flowers and clean soap. Ideal for warm weather with good performance - lasts 4 - 5 hours on me. Doesn't announce the wearer like some louder fragrances so great for enclosed spaces where you'll be in close proximity with others. Lovely, clean and fresh - excellent citrus-forward fragrance for me.

I love orange blossom and have been on the hunt for the perfect orange blossom scent. This one comes close to the scent of the blossoms of the calamondin tree I used to have in my former home. The opening is a very sharp neroli, but within a few minutes it softens and turns into a soft clean soapy smell. Very nice scent, but unfortunately it weakens quite soon and lasts for about 4 hours. I wanted to layer this with a warmer type of perfume with vanilla, wood or tobacco and so I just gave it a try with Zara Tobacco rich warm addictive, which turns it into a beautiful warm oriental scent and lets the orange blossom stand out more.

As a neroli lover, I have a huge collection of pure real orange blossom absolut, neroli oil and petitgrain, from Tunisia and Morroco, and this zara Fleur d'Oranger is certainly very well made. Amalfi Sunray is also great with fresh citrus and neroli. If you like the neroli joy, Fleur d'Oranger by Zara is the best one available, not only for the friendly price, delicious and average longevity in the skin, but lovely projection and sillage. I have Neroli oranger from Matiere premiere that is 10 times more expensive and I still find better the Zara n.6 emotions Neroli.

For a long while I’ve avoided this fragrance line of Zara, (wrongfully so) but once I tried this scent I absolutely fell in love with it. A sniff of fleur d’oranger brought me back to the times I visited Michal Negrin stores just for fun, knowing very well I won’t be able to purchase anything. (That store smells very similar for some reason. :D) I do have to say it’s a very soapy scent but I don’t think it takes away from the experience. It’s a citrusy, soapy scent. The performance however isn’t the best, but I think for the price we can let it slide. 7.5/10

Tried this because I love Jo Malone - Orange blossom since this is supposed to be a similar scent with better longevity. The longevity part is great and the sillage is quite good, but I personally don't see any resemblance with Jo Malone. Both on paper and on my skin I just smell soap with maybe a faint trace of some kind of flower. I am a big Ylang fan and I don't smell it in here either. I wouldn't mind it if I smelled it on someone, but personally I don't like it on me. TLDR: extremely soapy, but I don't hate it.

A soapy orange blossom fragrance that sticks strongly to the clothes. This would be a nice out-the-shower fragrance on days where you want to smell fresh and floral. This scent hangs around for a few hours on the skin and even longer on the clothes. Good to pair with other fragrances or wear it on it's own. It's not my favorite orange blossom scent (as I'm not a big fan of soapies), but for the price, I can't complain. If you like fresh floral soapy fragrances, you'll probably love this one.
