Frozen Pure Forest

After me and my partner visited our local Zara outfitters, my intentions was to check out the new offerings. The new range is very decent, and after trying out the other three, Frozen is easily my favorate. It's a sweet fragrance from the start with the Praline being more of a honeyed-truffle instead of chocolate and nutty. It's actually really delicious and more reminiscent of Black XS by Paco Rabanne. What makes Frozen Forest really beautiful though is the Pine, the wild ferns mixed with the Praline and Balsamic notes to add the warm tones really make this smell truly good. The Lavender is also more dominant with the Pine in the drydown. I wouldn't consider blind buying it..check it out first in a store if you can; you will not be disappointed. The only thing letting this wonderful smell down is the longevity. It lasts about 3-4 hours without reapplying, which in my opinion is horrific for an EDP. Still, a unique scent that does remind you of a winter forest covered in snow and ice. 8/10, even with crappy longevity. I might even purchase the Coastal edition to my collection soon too after liking that fragrance too.

It has a crispy, cold opening that resembles that of the Soul of the Forest by Replica without the berries. Although camphoric at first with hints of lavender |(or even rosemary) the balsamic and praline notes (althouhg i dont smell this one) bring down the coldness and give it a very very subtle sweetness. Personally really enjoy it and i think it's super wearable with a decent longevity. Considering the price, this is pretty unique for anyone who likes fir perfumes.

Reminds me of YSL Y le parfum 2025 because of the fir but it's sweeter, lighter and sharper. Nice stuff and great value. Edit: This lasts all day on me, above average longevity despite what some reviews say. After 10 hours I still smell it on my clothes at an arms length and it's not completely faded as a skin scent.

This fragance it’s amazing , it smells pretty crisp , it’s like caramel and praline mixed with the pine makes this extremely sharp and pointy smell !

This is my favourite from this series, as it performs the best and is actually enjoyable to smell. I don't smell any sweetness to it though, only strong pine that is made crisp by the pepper. Lavender and oakmoss is hidden somehwere in there, quite silent. I got compliments after 5-6 hours of spraying.

To be honest, the first time when I tested it, I didn't like it. I only got sharp sweetness. A few weeks later, I tested it again. This time I got a different feeling towards it. I got a balsamic opening, a bit bitter, even a bit minty, and I find the lavender note works very well together with the balsamic notes. I can get it in the background. In general it is still a sweet perfume, but much more acceptable than the first time. Give it some time, and it creates this cold earthy atmosphere.

A fair copy of Arboretum by Le Prince Jardinier, not as good, but could replace it in case you cannot get Arboretum. Doesn't smell as good, doesn't last as much and lacks the sillage of Arboretum, but could be consider a good value for the money (one fourth the price). 3/5 out of 5

All I get is pepper and pine, I expected something different. It's super oily and sticky, so I guess performance must be good.

I get: An icey air aldehydic accord Green aromatic smooth pine accord Balsamic sweet base with bubblegum nuance

this one is spot on for a wintery, cozy but not average scent. it has a few notes that I think might be controversial including the pine which is strong but well balanced with the balsamic note giving a sweet minty, after eight resemblances which actually made me think of Xerjoff Naxos: i'm not saying it is a dupe but I can't help by nose feeling some similarity. We could even call it unisex leaning to masculine.

Starts with heavy camphor and pinene. Camphor made me think of crushed fresh rosemary leaves, this herbal part is my fave, but drying to a generic Zara woody something. I don’t get any sweetness like some mention, but then again I am anosmic to ethyl maltol - common praline caramel sweet ingredient, some could say a blessing in today’s perfume market.

Some of the reviews must refer to the first issue of this fragrance in 2022. The one in the stores now has 0 performance, unless you like to fork out money for a slightly pleasant skin scent. I sprayed 5 times on my arm at 10.30, tre hours later is hardly noticeable.

I have tried it in store and it is sweet. Reminds me of Zara Gold a bit, probably the Praline note. Has some hints of Vibrant Leather as well, probably beacause of the Fir note.

The best from this line, maybe tied with coastal salty forest. But that one is much harder to wear

lowkey dupe for BRC540 when dries down but gives a little headache before

It smells like Accento Overdose to me, I can say it's 70-80% similar.
