Venice was at a turning point: people were venturing again and rediscovering the pleasures of life. The act of enjoying an apéritif with friends has spread throughout the city and Select Aperitivo has taken on the leading role in this new cocktail scene. Almost a century has passed. However today we still know Select Aperitivo as the true icon of the Venetian apéritif: a unique bitter that is served in the iconic bars of the Lagoon and by bartenders from all over the world, eager to offer something unique "- Select Aperitivo. Obviously, the recipe is a secret. However, the brand mentions a couple of ingredients out of thirty: rhubarb roots and juniper berries. They macerate individually and carefully process the former with artisanal mastery, which gives the product its intense bitter note, while they macerate and extract the latter, whose fresh, resinous notes add a sturdy structure and balance to the bitter, making it perfect for mixing. That said, nowadays, the Spritz apéritif has many variations, and other bitter replaces the original Select bitter, such as the equivalent Campari bitter and the lighter Aperol. However, what does Spritz apéritif have to do with Vibrant Cities In Fiji? Let's immerse ourselves in the fragrance, which invites you to relax and feel good while sipping a Spritz apéritif on a terrace and looking at a magnificent sunset on the Venetian lagoon. Among Vibrant Cities In St Tropez, Vibrant Cities In Tulum, and Vibrant Cities In Fiji, the latter is the most aquatic of the collection. Quite distant from Vibrant Leather, In Fiji unfolds with an abundance of fairly tart citrus peel. I immediately get the smoothness of the astringent lemon, with the bitterness and freshness of the bigarade orange, the bitter variety, and the sweetness of the clementine, which gives character to the top notes. Even late creamier and soapier bergamot does its part of the opening for a short while. I can't help but confirm the Spritz deal. It is there, for real, clear, and almost identical to the real cocktail. The master nose blended the citrus peels with other notes not mentioned so well, ending in nothing short of an astounding result. In the heart notes, the aromatic Sichuan pepper reinforces the fragrance, while the apéritif accord takes a back seat as the ice melts. The citric aspect calms down but does not disappear, and the orangey bitterness is still alive. Again, I detect a dewy, green nuance, slightly earthy and metallic, which I can associate with that of the violet leaves. The middle stage is watery, with an ozonic tinge typical of the synthetic calone without the melon-like nuance; it feels like a marine breeze with water blossoms hints. Finally, an unexpected woody and mossy base opens up as the colony dries. Even though ZARA only mentions amber as a base note, I capture the dried cedar shavings that intertwine with a salty, animal amber, a kind of ambergris with musky facets. Amber is not the warm, golden blend of resins and spices; it's a kind of ambroxan molecule for my nose. The final stage settles on salty and mossy accords that remain glued to the skin for a long time. Ultimately, pour bitter apéritif, prosecco, and soda water into a wine glass over ice. Top with crunched Sichuan peppercorn and a large, green, salty olive, and savour it. That's Vibrant Cities In Fiji. The citrus, aromatic, and watery aspects make this cologne ideal for the late spring and full summer days. It has a moderate projection, while the longevity is above average. I tested it on my skin and sprayed it before going to sleep; unexpectedly, a woody and mossy trace was present the morning after. I base the review on a 100ml bottle I have owned since August 2022.

Acqua di Gio mixed with Aventus dialed down to eau de cologne strength. It is actually quite good.

It opens with citrus notes, clean, a bit sweet and fresh. I don't really get the spicy pepper note. Then the woody notes come into play, a bit bitter and powdery. In general, it smells pleasant and fresh, but very common, nothing particular. A nice perfume for the hot summer days.

I will briefly describe all three Vibrant Cities: In Fiji - as if a leather note had been added to Acqua di Gio. In Tulum - If you're tired of sweet citrusy summer scents and find Ferrari Noble Fig too harsh, then this ginger and leather scent might be for you. In St Tropez - somewhat similar to Mancera Cedrat Boise, only here the leather note is rougher, more masculine.

This fragrance is like mixture of Sauvage series with some Dior Homme Sport vibes in it. I think the sichuan pepper makes it smell like Sauvage. Opening is more citrusy but in the middle you can smell that the fragrance smells like Sauvage. It's not like Aromatic Future which is a Sauvage clone from ZARA. It was a better clone. However, it's still smells like Sauvage. If you like Sauvage you can easily buy it.
