A Bellini Cocktail On A Crazy Summer Evening Bellini is an Italian long drink and a cornerstone of the history of cocktails, one of the most refined, stylish and nifty drinks. However, the recipe is straightforward: mix some peach puree nectar with an excellent sparkling white wine like Spumante or Champagne, and you can sip a bit of heaven. Giuseppe Cipriani, the owner of this cocktail, created it in 1948 in the well-known Harry’s Bar in Venice for the inauguration of the exhibition of paintings by the artist Giovanni Bellini. It is said that the particular pink colour of the cassock of a saint portrayed by the painter inspired Cipriani to create this drink. Originally, the cocktail featured Campagne, white peach pulp and a touch of raspberry puree, which gave it a slightly pink colour. Bellini owes its international fame not only to its pleasant fruity and sweet aroma but also to the many artists from all over the world and regulars of Harry’s Bar, who have spread the knowledge of this cocktail all over the world. And Jerome Epinette has seen fit to capture the essence of this Venetian cocktail and enclose it in this perfume. Of course, that's nothing new as other noses included this deal several years ago, for example Sheer Beauty, Luscious Pink EAU DE PARFUM, and Play It Spicy EAU DE TOILETTE just to mention a few. In St Tropez presents itself with an unexpected opening, with aromatic reflections of precious cooking herbs ranging from marjoram to thyme, finely chopped and soaked in citrus juices. The dark greenish and leafy tone might come from the velvety geranium, which oozes early than expected. This initial blast results from the blend between the harsh notes of citrus fruits and the spicy notes of black pepper. But it is not too bad, indeed it is anything but unpleasant. As soon as the more citric part fades, the darker flaps emerge from my skin, like those typical of slightly burnt liquorice root, deep and dense. Meanwhile, in the background, I hear the presentation of the D.N.A. of Vibrant Leather EAU DE PARFUM, that unmistakable accord that comes from the union of the fruity notes of pineapple with the leathery ones. The heart announces with the soft and fruity accord of the Bellini cocktail; the peachy tone is noticeable, and so also the boozy and bubbly touch of the Prosecco. To contrast and balance this fruity and sweet aspect, the nose chooses a fumy and gummy element, the incense. Without making the mixture too clerical, the crystals of this ingredient manifest themselves clearly. The smell is that of pure unburned resin and not that of the thick smoke that emanates when ignited. The picture is that of a bold man dressing in a linen white shirt, and sipping his Bellini long drink while smoking a cigarette. The olibanum’s resinous facet continues up to the final stage along with the peach gentleness. In the dry-down, the cologne is pretty close to the OG Vibrant Leather EAU DE PARFUM. Of course, I even receive the deep notes of modern patchouli with a tinge of saltiness, but the cologne never gets too dirty or too marine. The perfume now sits close to my skin, but now and then I catch tropical whiffs of leathery pineapple, which can be confused with Vibrant Leather from now on. Curiously enough, when I first smelled while ago the three perfumes in this “Vibrant Cities” collection, I hadn’t hesitated about whether to take them. In fact, I quit. If In St Tropez seemed to me the most original and intriguing one, alas In Fiji and In Tulum reminded me of something I already owned or smelled around. Among St. Tropez, Tulum, and Fiji, this is the most fruity and boozy. Recalls Vibrant Leather, no question about it, and the Bellini’s peach dominates. But just yesterday, in the ZARA shop, this perfume was standing alone on the checkout counter and was on sale for just over € 12. I bought it, and I have not regretted it, also because overall the perfume is pleasant, and its light blue-tinted bottle together with the magnetic cap alone is worth the price it cost me. I find it suitable for summer days and evenings, including late spring in Mediterranean locations where the climate is already mild and warm, because of fruity facets. The smoky, leathery chords make it more masculine, but don’t give it enough strength to face the colder seasons. On me it has remarkable performance. I feel it when I move, and it remains present for several hours. To conclude, I find it a noteworthy fragrance, which at times recalls the OG but proves to be unique and original, a worthy flanker. Keep in mind while available for all those who adore leathery and incensed families with a fruity but never too sweet touch. I base the review on a 100ml bottle I have owned since August 2022 (BC 20400, 2022-02-09).

Randomly tried everything new Zara brought and found this piece of gem called In St Tropez. Immediately fell in love with it. The first scent I sense makes me think of a fresh drink on the beach. A fresh opening citrus that quickly seems to turn into a sweetly bitterish drink. Longevity is great. I can still feel the scent on my arm even after 10 hours, but it sits close to the skin from the beginning and gets only closer to it as it dries out. So the only problem I'm having is the sillage. It doesn't offer as much sillage as I wish. The bitterish scent I sense after hours on my skin is reminiscent of Armaf's Club de Nuit Intense for men. Overall, I fell in love with this perfume and I'll make sure I get a few more bottles soon.

Just got this in today. Saw they had a sale for $20 after grabbing some clothes and figured why not. It’s surprisingly very very nice. Bright and uplifting easy to wear scent, could definitely be great for vacation. Not sure how long it’s gonna last since I just got it but I’ll see how it performs for the day. Also the presentation is really nice too and the cap is magnetic. I think this is a safe blind buy

Fragrantica forgot to mention the perfumer’s name: I imagined this perfume as a cocktail with citrus fruits and pepper in top note. In the heart, the party continues with sparkling notes of Bellini enhanced by incense and geranium. The woody notes in the background become salty for even more charisma and elegance. This is a gorgeous any occasion fragrance. It’s even better if you’re on a holiday sipping cocktails by the beach as it has that slightly “boozy + sea breezy” scent profile! I just love mixing it with my ‘Jo Malone Fig & Lotus Flower’ since it is so similar to ‘Wood Sage & Sea Salt’ after it’s settled, that allows it blend together perfectly.

Eau de Cologne strength Aventus. Brighter, juicier and simply lovely. A perfect summer scent? Sure. For those who want Aventus-like air without overpowering the room. Edit: there is more to this than I thought initially...there is a warm sweetness reminiscent of A Men Pure Malt. The blend is delicious

That's a beautiful, but very linear fragrance. Weak longevity, but very fruity, fresh and a little bit feminine. Thats a fck'n cocktail, what tastes good but you drink that so fast and forget of the smell.

Stunning fresh release from Zara, with good projection and performance for the price tag. Smells like fresh beach summer drink.

I like it! Smells like peach candy, or peach soda. Definitely unquie.

The opening is beautiful, sparkly and lively, but shortly after spraying it turns into a barely noticeable "meh" skin scent. I fell in love with it at the store and thought of buying it, but the scent totally disappeared after 10-15 minutes from both skin and paper strip, while still in the store! I really wanted to like this scent, but I won't pay $40 CAD for just a 10 minute opening.

Really nice everyday scent It’s pleasant, clean, salty and little bit fruity Even though I don’t like it on my skin because it turns into some unpleasant sour scent but on clothes it’s just perfect. Bellini (peach) and salt notes are the most prominent ones when I smell it

I agree with the peach candy comparison. I don’t smell any hints of Vibrant Leather. My girlfriend said this smelled feminine and I agree with her. Unisex to slightly feminine leaning. Overall it’s refreshing and fairly unique smelling.

St Tropez and Cool Heights might be in the same genre but by no means are the same lol. There's no leather in St Tropez, no salt in Cool Heights and the fruitiness smells different too

Blind bought from Black Friday sale for 12 euro. Initial review: Very artificial, leathery, peachy. Smelled up close it reminds me of self-tan lotion bitterness on skin. After it dries down it becomes bearable. Will update review after more experience with the scent.

This is my least favorite among the three perfumes. The opening is like a peach flavored candy, too sweet, and it is so dominating that I hardly get any other notes.

I can barely feel the supposed bellini note - this frag is 90% vibrant leather to my nose. Not different enough to buy it imo. Weak projection too.

I bought it blindly due the great reviews and I got very dissapointed. I gave it as present quickly to a female friend that liked it as nigh summer fragance. The opening is too, too sweet like a peach candy, very femenine and later develop an incense that in my opinion doesn't match at all. Maybe is my fault because I expected a summer frangance, kind of amaretto style for a summer sundown... and to me this fragance lands in a nowhere land: it's too sweet the opening to be masculine , very girly peach sweet cocktail and it remains when later appears a woody-incense. For this kind of opening, I prefer the Zara Bogoss, that lands in a soft woody tones, but I would love that the initial peach would have been more "masculine" smoky peach or sour peach.

This is a relabeled version of Zara"s Cool Hights. I have them both and when I sprayed this one on, my oilfactive memory part of my brain went looking of what this reminded me off, so when I compared them both it clicked: they are the same. The Saint-Tropez has a bigger hit of the belline not in the opening notes as it is a more recent production and my bottle of Cool Hights has been produced a few years ago, but trust me, they are the same perfume. So now I have 2 of them and I'm happy with it aI really love this perfume, especially in summer time.

I will briefly describe all three Vibrant Cities: In St Tropez - somewhat similar to Mancera Cedrat Boise, only here the leather note is rougher, more masculine. In Tulum - If you're tired of sweet citrusy summer scents and find Ferrari Noble Fig too harsh, then this ginger and leather scent might be for you. In Fiji - as if a leather note had been added to Acqua di Gio.
