Incense Sunset

Sex in a bottle. THE MOST ATTRACTIVE SCENT MY BOYFRIEND WEARS... EVERY TIME I SMELL THIS ON HIM IT’S OVER. Between me and my boyfriend we have over 40 perfumes and don’t react as strongly to any other one as I do to this. I am just completely drawn to it and lean in to smell it every time he wears it. It’s the closest you’ll get to those male perfume ads where the women chase the guy down to smell him😂. It is also a beast performer with incredible sillage and projection. You can’t ask for better, ESPECIALLY at the price point (yes, even with the Zara UK price hikes). I love it so much I forced my Boyfriend to buy a backup bottle because I don’t think I would ever want him to be without this. He has designer fragrances and not a single one comes close to this. This is another level of sexy, it is just smoky and addictive. This is absolutely for sexy, confident people, both men and women for sure. It’s so unique... sort of like the BEST citrus you have ever smelt. I don’t think everyone will like this but you’re missing out if you don’t. This is absolutely worth trying, it is complex and just sexy. It’s not feminine or masculine, it’s just a mysterious, sexy smell that only sexy people can pull off😂. I have said sexy a ton of times because that is the only word I can think of that does this justice. I would wear this but it’s so good that I’d rather smell it on my boyfriend, and he discovered it first. If you want a his and hers I would recommend Arizona bloom from floral street, another unique unisex sexy fragrance. Absolutely get this and try this.

If I say now that I’m not sure if this was what I thought it would be, I feel kind of dumb because honestly, it is exactly what it’s described to be. On paper, it smells very citrus forward, but when you spray it on your skin, the main player is definitely the incense. I’m very surprised to read people saying it has no incense. Trust me, it does, and it’s the typical church incense. Which I never would imagine that incense and mandarin orange would be a good match... but damn, it really is. In my opinion, it’s a very good year round fragrance: even though the name sunset kind of implies a summery vibe, and a lot of people are voting this one as best for summer, I assume because of the mandarin orange, but it’s not a freshy. It’s also not cloying. You could literally wear it everywhere at every time, I feel. Especially because it kind of stays pretty close to the skin. This is also about as dark as I’ve known a Jo Malone fragrance to be: most of her compositions are usually bright and this one still is, but it has more of a bit of an edge, which is clearly the incense. It’s not a note that I would have expected fro ma Jo Malone fragrance, but it works wonderfully.

This scent is very interesting. I tested it a long time ago. I don’t remember exactly how the scent opens but I remember that it was bad, a bit too strong, citrusy and leather-like. I wanted to wipe it off but thank God I forgot to. When it dries down, it turns into a very cozy and soap-like scent. Not soapy as in clean soapy, but it’s like a masculine version of Lux Dream Delight soap/shower gel. It’s spicy, woody and soapy i this way. Not sure I’d buy it though because I find it too masculine for my liking and I won’t be able to use it so much. If there was a body cream version I would purchase it without a second thought since it will be good for layering.

Beautiful; orange rinds smoking over burning incense wood chips. There's a noticeable hint of metallic on the opening, the incense note is heavier as it dries. Great autumnal scent, it would work across all seasons except for summer as I think the incense might be a bit too heavy to enjoy. Sits just at arms' length, I get around 5 hrs on my skin with this, a touch longer on clothes.

Perfume in Zara on September 2025 Strong mandarin opening, with incense and little suede coming later then. The mandarin is very good and strong, and then come a suede, soa kind of Leather perfume. Good perfum, another win of Jo on a Zara perfume: another good one Jo! Great job, I've found a very good "nose"to learn from ;-) Notes: Mandarin, Incense, Cedarwood, and Suede
