Lilys Nest

I tried this delicious fragrance several times in the UK and finally bought it here in the US. It is warm, enveloping, soft yet present, elegant, never overpowering. It is sweet but not cloying. This is a great spring into summer scent, with great potential in the summer (was cool and dry in UK when I tried it). It almost comes off as a dupe for Alien Goddess without the sharp edges that AG can sometimes have. There are (not listed) hints of citrus and coconut in a transparent, barely there way. In the beginning, the scent is right there but over the course of the day, it lightly dissipates. The longevity is much better as the perfume has macerated. It's over 4-5 hours (I go a bit anosmic to it, but still catch whiffs here and there and know others can smell it 5-6 hours in). This is a cozy, warm, sweet delicious scent that does very well in this cooler autumn weather. It makes me feel like I’m wrapped in a light pashmina that wards off the cooler temps. Lily's Nest punches slightly above its $30 price tag!

This smells like an herbal essence shampoo

this is my first time trying a zara fragrance...i bought 3 in their sale and they all seem to have an underlying sweet note that i am not fond of. anyway, i smell a synthetic floral and candylike vanilla with something like berries underneath. it reminds me of a body spray. the lily note gets stronger over time and it's not quite as sweet after a few minutes. the lily improves things, but this is too synthetic and sugary for my tastes.

I tested it twice on different days and despite the scent being pleasant and original it is so weak I cannot smell it after 10 minutes. It is not your typical vanilla scent. It's more of a floral vanilla. Very nice, linear. More like a body mist than actual perfume or eau de toilette.
