LXXXV

There's no such thing as a chypre-aquatic, yes? No? This fragrance I thought I would not take a liking to, but i feel that is due to the fact that the majority of fragrances in my arsenal are oriental, amber, chypre-leaning towards the heavy side of sillage. This beauty, however, pleasantly surprised me in that it was apparently what I needed to balance out all the heavy-hitters I own. As I looked at what I normally gravitate to, I realized that I was without something to wear for those days when I didn't want to project or get noticed. Ever have one of those days? You just want to smell a little but leave no trace?LXXXV may just fit the bill. There is mention of fruity, but it is not a overly ripe fruitiness, but a light fruity , like lychee smells from a can. I am currently wearing it in December, but I would like to see how it performs in spring/summer, since I associate light, airy fragrances in this time frame. For a fragrance that only has three notes, I am surprised to find it appears to be more complex. It has an aesthetic scent quality that lightly perfumes the wearer, but seems to be unobtrusive to its surroundings. In this respect I feel it can be comfortably worn in office or close-quarter settings without offending. I seriously have to come close and sniff my wrists to the point where I feel I am attempting to suck up the skin of my wrists through my nostrils (LOL!), but it is just that light to me. I tend to like woody notes and feel I haven't been deprived as the bamboo adds just enough to make me satisfied in this respect. I feel this can be said to have a Zen-like, aesthetic aura, as it calms and rejuvenates the senses. A definite try for anyone. Bedtime, work, play, distressing, outing etc. A perfect anytime fragrance! And if you can find at a reasonable price, all the better! I would purchase again.

This is deff. a dupe for Omnia Chrystaline. It is so refreshing after a shower or before bed. Not the longest lasting, but I got 30ml bottle for 3€ so its fine.
