Oakwood

I have the body oil of this fragrance, and it smells amazing. I think I really need to get the perfume too. I'm a sucker for aldehydes; this one is fluffy, fuzzy, and staticky quality. Underneath that, I can detect orange blossom along with a clean, sueded leather scent that feels sterile. It's very nice! I now have the fragrance... love it.

It kinda blends a bunch of previous successful Zara fragrances in a neat way - I'm detecting mainly shades of Imperial Purple and Sacred Green Forest but also hints of Frozen Pure Forest and Rhuigi EDP.

This is better than it’s getting credit for - take the citrus and leather from Ferragamo Intense Leather and add a healthy dose of moss - very earthy, loamy, mossy scent. I quite like it

It's the first days of hot summer, you are in a forest far from the burning city, you have a leather bag on your back, you are walking past moss-covered trees, and you have a small citrus candy in your mouth. No scent is intense, no scent stays in your nose for long. This perfume may not be unique or perfect, but it is definitely a quality designer perfume. The only downside is that the sillage and longevity is not great, acceptable for the price.

Oakwood is nutty, leathery, smooth and sweet. It's hardly unique. A comparison that leapt to mind on first wear is Joop! Homme Eau de Parfum. It's good and fair value, not a bargain, not even on sale, as the bottle is 50ml.

This fragrance feels very generic and reminds me of some cosmetics at the Sheraton. Quite sweer and definitely on the more feminine side for me.

It started off very promising for me, with the description of all the notes, as I love mossy oak tones. I sprayed on my skin, and this is precisely where it stayed - seemed like a very skin-close scent with almost no projection. Interesting, but not complex, not worthy the price. And then it evolved over a couple of hours into something very noxious sweet aroma, quite like a cheap toilet soap.
