Oro di Roma

It doesn't smell like By the Fireplace. As soon as i sprayed, it reminded me something else that i tried about 2 weeks ago and it was a head-scratcher to really remember which one it was but i think i got it: Mancera Eternal Wood. What you get here is a waffle toffee wood combination, exactly like Eternal Wood. As Ifaria mentioned below, this a dry wood scent and the sweetness is subtle. As it dries down, the dry woodiness subsides to make the vanilla clearer and i'm feeling some Encens Suave incense/vanilla vibes to it Its oily on the skin so the concentrarion is indeed high. I find that it leans more masculine for the first hour but as it dries down it's more unisex For the price, this is a no brainer.

I’m absolutely in love with this fragrance! It pulled me in because of the similarity to By The Fireplace, but this has its own unique twist - I think the honey and saffron give it an aromatic edge. So instead of smelling like a fireplace, it reminds me more of dry woods, like smelling a freshly cut tree branch in a wet forest. Which has nothing to do with saffron nor honey. I also don’t find it a sweet scent at all, just very dry, which I love. I rarely do impulse purchases, but I’m glad I followed my excitement on this one! Completely unisex.

I just tried this out at Zara and immediately it reminded me of something I have smelled before. I sprayed some on and went home. Then it hit me, this is a decent dupe for YSL's Sleek Suede without as much cacao! I already own SL so I'm torn whether I need something similar as a back-up dupe... in any case, SL is no longer available in the U.S. but OdR is the closest alternative I've smelled. Highly recommended!

It smells like a mix of the creamy sweetness from By the Fireplace but without the smoke, the vanilla from Althaïr, though a bit more gourmondy, probably from the honey. The fresh woods ground it a little bit, accompanied by a slight Side Effect / Oud for Greatness edge to it, likely thanks to the saffron

An exceptionally elegant and sophisticated alternative to the 'By the Fireplace' scent profile. For those who find the original's smoky note overpowering, this is easily the finest version available. It is if althair married By the Fireplace and got a beautifl offspring without smoke note.

Zara brought out "Oro di Roma' it's a perfume concentration, not an EdP and even though this one and Radiant Echo have a different opening because OdR has a more prevalent note of incense and pepper in it, in the dry down these 2 come very close to each other. I tried them both and by comparing them now there is a minute difference , but I think this has got to do with the perfume concentration of OdR. I wonder if any other perfume enthusiasts here notice this too...

A pleasant woody vanilla fragrance, perfect for fall, reminds me a bit of Zara Sand Desert at Sunset Intense, it is in the same ball park, though i feel like Sand Desert is more unique and oriental, this is more "western", more woody. It does not smell like By The Fireplace at all lol. They are in the same autumn woody vanilla ballpark, but they are not similar by any means

A sugary, sticky sweet fragrance. You get sort of a honey note at first but it then turns into a marshmallow note like the one in SWY Absolutely. Imagine SWY Absolutely without the amberwood or the nutty SWY accord and you have a rough idea how this smells. Totally unisex I'd say.

this is a more woody liquid brun/althair, around 90% similar with the same performance. i smelt by the fireplace right after this and it has nothing to do with this lol.
