Petal Lollipop

I bought this green baby unsiffed in Oslo some 2 y ago, and yes, it's a green delight! I use it mostly in the mornings, it wakens up my sleepy brain, and, as mentioned, the first sprays smells like cucumber, and of cause I love cucumber, and, than a big bucket of sjasmin comes around! It kinda reminds me of Tendre Poison, Dior, but, it's notting like it, and, it is very weak, but, who cares; -I can overspray myself over, and over again with this nice beauty!!

I bought this for my daughter and wow in my opinion it’s a stunner. I haven’t smelt anything like this before. On first whiff I get a burst of fresh cucumber, fruit and rose. It’s so bright, clean, refreshing and a perfect summer scent. I keep going to her room to smell it as it’s that good. Usually with Zara perfumes there is always a strong smell of alcohol but this is different. It’s just beautiful. In my opinion it’s a winner.

Gosh, this is a weird one. Not bad, just weird. At first blast it's an intensely green and realistic floral. It's dewy and fresh. I do get violet, a greener violet than sweet. As it dries down the rose comes out and it turns into a very generic 'beauty product' scent. Like cold cream, or lipstick. Personally this is a scent I like but I know it's very polarizing. I don't like using the term 'old lady' to describe perfume but this certainly smells vintage. Sillage and longevity are very weak. For me, this would be a nice bedtime scent, or like a previous reviewer mentioned for scenting clothing. Again I don't know why they named it what they did as it's really not sweet at all.

This is a surprising and quite unusual fragrance from Zara. It's an almost ozonic violet with only the tiniest bit of sweet. It's definitely not a gourmand. I agree with catysuewho's comments that this is a very green floral but despite the multiple listed floral notes, I'm picking up only violet from this. It's a green, soft, airy, powdwery, fresh, almost soapy violet accord. The closest thing in my collection to it is Elizabeth Arden True Love. And yes, it has a bit of a vintage vibe, which I love. Performance is typical for these Zara edt's. Great bedtime scent Office friendly Linen spray Great scent for kids too!

The violet stands out in this one. Once again Zara's names are misleading, bc I do not get any candy sweetness from a lollipop. The violet note to me, comes out the strongest. Very florally, but not in a matronly way. Sweet, but I still like Marshmallow Addiction the best. I have an older Bath and Body Works set, the spray and lotion, called "Candied Violet Sorbet," but it has vanilla in it, and I layer them. Again, it might be a generic floral scent but for the price, you can't go wrong. Reminds me of potpourri a bit, you can take this and spray your drawer with your bras and lingerie!

I immediately fell in love with this one, it kind of reminds me of Be delicious, but softer and sweeter. On me it lasts about 4-5 hrs, not bad at all. I don't detect any violet at all.

I recently visited a Zara store and I tried all of them. The one that stole my heart was this one. The other three (Candy Festival, Woman Cherry and Marshmallow Addiction), were too sweet for my liking. This one seemed to be, the most balanced for me, neither too sweet nor too floral/fresh......At this point, though, I would like to underline too, as the previous reviewer that, the name is totally misleading, and this is not the first time, that I notice this, in a Zara perfume. (Quite upsetting, imho). If the notes are correct, for sure the sweet notes included does not make it too sugary and cloying such as a lollipop is supposed to be. On the contrary, there is a fresh note, a dominant fresh outcome, which balances the whole composition, and this was the "key" factor, the winnig factor for me. At the beginning I had bought Marshmallow Addiction too, but I returned it. Unfortunately none of them have very good sillage and duration but I am not complaining because of the price. For a carefree, Summer perfume, under the brand Zara, with this low price, it fits the bill. Believe me, I have paid the triple price for other well-known brands for a 30 ml bottle and I got the same sillage and duration (2,3 max hours) so, I am quite satisfied with my choice.

I got a decant of this and just sprayed it to test. I made a mistake in buying this, assuming it was a lollipop fragrance, but smells nothing like a lollipop. That does not mean it is not worth purchasing, but is not reminiscent of a true lollipop for anyone looking for that. My first impression was smelling a bit of Pleasures by Estée Lauder. I don’t buy Zara fragrances as a rule, therefore can’t comment on their others.

Judging from its name, I expected something sugary when I bought Petal Lollipop. Turns out this is a fresh violet-dominant fragrance with dash of ozonic and green accord, which is well-represented by the color of the bottle. Performance-wise this is not the best, but i love how appropriate it is to be worn as an office scent.
