Popeline Blanche

Quintessentially classic Italian perfumery. This one also answers what do you do when you have to create a high quality perfume on a budget. With the advent of clone houses becoming the flagbearers of affordable perfumery, this skill is becoming highly underrated today. Used to be that master perfumers like Nathalie Lorson and Geza Schoen created artful, well crafted perfumes with good ingredients for houses like 4711, Bentley or Lalique. Today one would increasingly rather pick up a clone from a French Avenue or Ajmal it seems. So when an old school budget fragrance comes along, I really appreciate it. Enter Popeline Blanche. And surprisingly, this dying typology has been resurrected by none other than the trend masters Zara. The only downside is how long it lasts - but given how fresh of a fragrance this is, it shouldn't be surprising. This is a great fragrance - and not just for the price. This is a great fragrance period. It sits very comfortably on my fresh fragrance shelf among the Chanels, Guerlains and PDMs holding its own. I'm very glad to have it... 9/10

10/10- Steaming fresh linen. It is difficult for simple compositions to get a perfect score but this one is a 10/10 in my books. The perfume smells like fresh clean linen straight out of the laundry, this is an amazing scent for the high heat. It has a touch of sweetness which makes it even more gorgeous once it settles on your skin. Neroli in this is not overpowering with a solid unobtrusive bergamot up top. I'd happily take the Popeline Blanche for the morning and the Encre Noire for the evening for the rest of my life. Popeline Blanche- Bergamot, Neroli, Cotton and Musk. Encre Noire- Cypress, Vetiver, Cashmere and Musk. Notice the similarities or perhaps the differences between the two fragrances?

In terms of fragrance, friends made some good and appropriate comments. One thing I want to mention is the quality of the bottle and the writing on it. In my opinion, the perfume bottle is not of good quality and although I protect the perfume bottle, the writing on it is getting erased! And it shows the poor quality of the printing on the bottle. از نظر رایحه که دوستان صحبتهای خوب و بجایی کردند. نکته ای که من میخواهم به آن اشاره کنم؛ در مورد کیفیت بطری و نوشته های روی اون هست. از نظر من بطری عطر کیفیت خوبی نداره و با اینکه من از بطری عطر محافظت میکنم؛ ولی نوشته های روی اون داره پاک میشه! و نشان از کیفیت پایین چاپ بر روی بطری رو داره

Great "cologne" release. Perfectly unisex (only branded towards male population), refreshing in an elegant manner, incredible quality compared to its price tag, very good projection and longevity for this type of fragrances (just to be used generously, don't be shy on the atomizer). Already compared to Mugler, I would add also Dior Homme Cologne and in some way also Ganymede (not that longevity, though) And yes - grab it before Zara deletes the name of the creator from the bottle (I think it is the catch with all their fragrance reformulations)

Every time after not having smelled this perfume for a while, I always have the same reaction: oooh this smells so good. It smells clean, comforting, clean linnen in the summer . Or having your nose in the clothes of your mum when you’re a kid . It feels like a safe Haven. It also has this smell when you take out your clothes out of the dryer, this very clean , fresh smell.I really love it I spray on my pillows before I go to bed and it feels like heaven

A stroll in the garden with dainty neroli blossoms where your mum hung some freshly washed linen to dry. A fawn hopping in the undergrowth and falling asleep in a glade. Innocent, clean, pretty. Performance is similar to blanc a porter. These two are my fav skin scents for everyday. Wish they lasted longer. They are absolutely calming and beautiful. . PS. Doesn anyone get a certain nuttiness? Sesame or some sort? Its great though.

A very interesting juice, a mix of fresh bergamots and clean cotton. I can picture this worn more easily by an older man rather than a guy in his twenties. Light and pleasant, with good longevity. The sillage is quite decent and all the collection by Olivia Giacobetti is unisex, despite the marketing label. In general the fragrance is excellent and nobile. It has that "escale at portofino" dior vibe.. Just grab it!

Opens up with a nice fresh bolt of bright clean citrusy Neroli Akin to fresh neroli flowers in a garden and the clean image and feel from the soft fluffy cotton. Linear and soothing spa like quality. Smells more classy and expensive than it's cost. A very good clean neroli frag for the price. Safe with a few sprays or even overspraying. Lovely juice.

I somehow feel like this fragrance is "calming". I just received it today and tried it, the opening is pretty much like 4711 OG cologne, then after a short time it smells way different just like the notes mentioned, it smells soft, comfy, and perfect for the summer. A great value fragrance from Zara, worth the take for some daily outdoor activities.

nothing offensive about this one. its a neroli and citrus combo that smells very clean, with a tame synthetic musk in the back. very cheap, but it smells better than what its worth. very simple fragrance that can be worn in every occasion. longevity is solid at 6-8hours, sillage/performance is around 1-2 hours. solid 8/10

Very simple fragrance, it reminds me of Acqua di Parma with the bergamot and the neroli, it gets very citrusy. The clean cotton merges well with the other notes and comes up after a while. It is a great fragrance, I paid it 10euros on the sale, blind buy it as I did, if you like citrusy fragrances it is fantastic.

Citrus and floral of Bergamot and neroli, Clean and soft notes of cotton and musk. It smells like a white shirt that has been freshly washed and hung to dry under neroli flowers. Its great, simple, relaxing scent. Scent: 6.5/10 Longevity: 5.5/10 Projection: 5.5/10

This scent is pure sunshine in a bottle. Clean, musky, and effortlessly fresh. It’s giving white tee, blue skies, golden sun, birds singing, and that in love energy. Feels like life’s got no rough edges, just good vibes on repeat. 🌞🕊️💙

This is so good, I picked it up yesterday and of course i sprayed 15+ times but everyone in the office had something nice to say about it, brilliant easy reach, nothin synthetic about it.

Unique, never smelled something like that ! How to describe it! Well, muscling flowrey with a green opening.. love it

mugler cologne meets the kölnisch wasser by the house 4711. with better longevity. and the bottle is very nice.

Its a clean citrusy musk.. worth the money!!

Wonderful traditional neroli cologne with fairly good performance, 100% unisex, nothing groundbreaking but really well done. While I do like the juice a lot, I do have a problem with the bottle itself and poor quality control at Zara. These bottles are refillable and the manufacturer often fails to completely close and seal them. I got one bottle of Popeline Blanche which was contaminated and the sprayer jammed up and another one recently that entirely leaked during shipping, staining everything inside and outside the box. P.S. anyone who misses Popeline Blanche since it's discontinued now may want to check out Cremo's Italian Bergamot cologne - it is very similar.

My personal favorite out of 4, and I still like all 4. The name says it best, a smell of a clean plain summer shirt. It seems to have a good longivity, almost enought for an 8-hours working day, sillage is moderate whch makes it pretty safe for any occasion, but if anyone will be close to you they wouldn't be disspointed. Musk and Neroli combo, very straight forward, so I dont advise it for a blind buy. The smell is sorta unique in its simplicity

If you like neroli up front in a body spray strength clean bright cologne, this is for you. I liked it, the neroli was not for me, taste wise. Respray often, great out of the shower. Totally unisex but male leaning. Won’t last but cologne/body spray is fleeting so it’s a gorgeous body spray I guess
