Rich Leather 2019

Such a good fragrance for work. The average projection is perfect for the office so it's not too in your face. The pineapple is more prominent in this version compare to vibrant leather. Love the dry down in this one. Great value for money. I bought into the Parfum Vintage hype and got a bottle of PVI I must say rich leather smells better and performs better than PVI.

This is 90% the same juice as Vibrant Leather. I sprayed them both on each arm and they are almost the same. The old batch of Vibrant Leather has better performance and is smokier. But this is almost the same as the new batch. It is a little fresher and fruiter. Overall good scent. I like Vibrant Leather too. Especially the old batch.

Nice enough, I use 4 sprays both sides of my head and clothes and get reasonable staying power (about 4 hrs on me with alot of sprays). I use it for work, as the projection is not so much, not offensive and I enjoy the smell of course. I don't think I'd buy another bottle though, simply because there are better choices at this price point including those in the Zara line, I picked this one up in the two pack from Zara, as I really like Gourmand Leather, and thought, what the Hay I'll get both. I have Vibrant leather, and for my nose, they're not similar, VL has no pineapple,the attraction to me is the pineapple in this one. Scent: 3/5 - pleasant, crowd pleasing Performance: 2/5, need to overspray Value: 2/5, better options for the price even in Zara store.

A nice, young and masculine fragrance that I use whenever I don't want to fill an entire room with my smell. It is a toned down version of Montblanc Explorer, with a more linear development and sweeter touch. Excellent for daily use, and great to spray on clothes, especially coats and jackets. On these it'll last an entire day. The pineapple note is what's most present, but it doesn't lead to sweetness nausea. It's just the right amount of it. People complain about its longevity, but honestly, to me this is not a smell you want to have for more than 3 or 4 hours. It is good for a while, but in my opinion, too linear to be wearing it for that long. Price-quality ratio is fantastic. 7.5/10.

I never knew that there is a cheaper version of Zara Vibrant Leather EDP until I smelled this one. But if Zara Vibrant Leather has a green, bamboo flavor on the dry down, this one has the sweet pineapple flavor but very subtle. Very tiny trace. Sublime. It reminds me also of less sweet and weaker version of Mercedes Benz Select. 6/10 [UPDATE] An update of this review can be seen in my blog post titled "Scentpedition: Dxb Mall." I found out it's actually better than Zara Vibrant Leather and even Montblanc Explorer!

Zara Rich leather smells yummy to me, not as good as Vibrant leather or GOURMAND LEATHER It opens with a lovely pineapple note, which dries down to notes of moss and to a lesser degree leather. But the performance is poor It only lasts 1-2 hours even though it is marketed as EDP.but you only get what you pay for but for this price who can complain. Scent: 5/5 Performance: 3/5 Value: 5/5

What a shame that this is so weak as for about half an hour it smells really nice. It does smell a bit like Aventus but with a lemon zest and pineapple opening, then after about an hour it's gone.

Projection isn't really that bad but sprayer is terrible really so you have to spray more times if you want juice to be on your neck instead of your ear

Tested this in Zara store today - it is very similar to Vibrant Leather EdP. It's quite pleasant, plain pine apple with terrible performance and projection. I am thinking about buying it as a linen spray, can't find any other use for it. P.S. It's quite cheap - 14 EUR for 100ml. I'd also love if Zara would make a shower gel with this scent

First things first, this fragrance isn't the same as Vibrant leather EdP. It opens with a nice pepper note and a juicy citrus, the kind of citrus that gives off strong pineapple vibes. As it dries down the pepper stays but becomes much less noticeable. The citrus is the main note then, joined by a slight woody, kind of ambroxany note. After two-ish hours the scent is gone completely from my skin. On clothes it lasts a bit longer but not by that much and it also doesn't project. It strongly resembles the early part of Terre d'Hermès Eau tre Fraiche to me. No cumin or vetiver notes in Rich leather of course but you get the citrusy, frankly very nice opening part of TdH ETF here. Overall it's not a bad scent, it just has the same issue as most Zara fresh scents, and that's the performance, which is even worse here than usual for Zara. If you think of this as a super fresh EdC to spray in the morning for smelling good when you're having breakfast at home then it works. If you want a scent you can wear when working from home and respray couple of times a day this is also great. Otherwise there's Vibrant leather EdP if you want to get a similar scent with a bit better (but also not great) performance from Zara. Montblanc Explorer is also similar to this with better performance but it also doesn't have the best longevity, is a bit more expensive and adds a "Sauvagey" ambroxan accord which may not be for everyone. Worth it if you get it as a part of the double pack with Gourmand leather, but not as a standalone buy.

Zara Rich leather smells magnificent to me, much better than Vibrant leather because of the prominent moss note. This is my signature scent and I feel really comfortable wearing it. It opens with a juicy citrus and pineapple note, which dries down along with the base note of moss and leather. The leather note is mild and not as prominent as the moss. It is wearable in all seasons and in the day as well as the evenings. But the performance is disastrous. It only lasts 2-3 hours even though it is marketed as EDP. It projects decently while it lasts. Sadly, you only get what you pay for. I'd pay double if this fragrance lasted at least 6 hrs. Scent: 5/5 Performance: 1.5/5 Value: 3/5

Rich Leather 2019 is a perfume that smells like what we all know (one more Aventus clone): smoked pineapple. The longevity of this fragrance is very, very ppor, 3 hours maximum, at least on my skin, and perfumes tend to last a long time on my skin, the good thing is that the time it lasts also projects its aroma with a good sillage. I honestly recommend you buy Explorer from Montblanc, which lasts much longer and at least its aroma is more natural.

I really like this fragrance. This is the only fragrance I've ever been complimented on by a complete stranger in the street. The longevity is unfortunately rather low. After an hour or two I can't trace it anymore on my skin. Still I think for the price it's a good buy, especially in the set together with gourmand leather.

Zara sells this in the same 120ml bottle that Brave Spirit used to have now.
