Rosy Mousseline

Ohhh this is so lovely, niche, elegant & feminine. Rosy Mousseline is rather similar to Byredo's Mojave Ghost (doesn't smell like blanche at all). This was raved so much by perfume YouTuber Tommelise as a pear fragrance, and I'm so impressed. The opening is tart, refreshing, crispy pears that blends so well with the other notes. The rose is not overbearing or 'mature'. Zara has been killin' it lately. 'Rosy Mousseline' definitely has this classy, well-blended quality you can't find in most Zara fragrances. I'm not sure about the skin, but this lasts more than a week on my clothing, and the scent is very noticeable! Will write a full, detailed review later. Zara perfumes are such hits or misses and with the inability nowadays to test them out, I was hesitating quite a bit to purchase this particular one, but it was 50% off so I gave in. Gosh, it's such a beautiful, light rosewater-like fragrance with an addictive ambrette note that gives it a special non-to be found- much-in-mainstream-perfumery character to the whole composition. Light, uplifting, feminine dare I say, but men can wear it too. Why not?!

I love it. For me it smells very similar to Glossier You, which I love too. It’s very airy, clean and feminine. Not girly. It’s the best I can explain.

This fragrance has me absolutely baffled and, although I have been trying it for days, I do not know exactly what to think about it or what notes it actually contains ... At the start, the pear is clearly there, it has a very fruity start, with a slight spicy touch (?). Afterwards, it remains quite close to the skin with a very soft aroma in which the rose begins to be detected but in a very rare mix... It is an aroma that the first time I used it made my boyfriend tell me that it smelled of tobacco. I, as an ex-smoker for more than a decade, replied that this was impossible. And we both began the search for the culprit, which turned out to be this perfume. Although it may seem very strange, when drying the aroma becomes less sweet and what remains on my skin is a smell of paper with tobacco leaves, to be more exact it is the aroma of the silver paper that is removed when opening a pack of cigarettes. For real, that's what I feel. I neither like nor dislike the aroma, although it has a certain addictive aspect. Maybe it is just mere olfactory curiosity... I can't find musk anywhere. In terms of resemblances, to my nose it certainly does not resemble Blanche because this has no aldehydes at all. It could be very slightly reminiscent to Mohave Ghost when drying. On my skin it hardly projects and its duration does not exceed 3 hours. I blind purchased it due to the hype on Youtube totally unsuccessfuly this time, fortunately very discounted. It has led me to earn the nickname of "the snuffbox" at home when I use it hahahahahahaha I will continue using it some afternoon to do yoga or go for a walk and I will update you if I perceive something different. The opening is painfully familiar, reminds me of a vintage local cosmetic and body care. Thank God it doesn't last long. The pear is taking over the stage with its fruitiness, then it develops into something musky. I sense something lipstick-y but it doesn't bother me. Rosy Mousseline is the kind of fragrance that enhances your natural scent. Mass pleasing indeed. Some people says this is a dupe of Glossier - You. On me nothing about these two smells alike.
