Sand Desert At Sunset Intense

Funny thing: I've seen a youtuber talk about Sunrise on the Red Sand Dunes Intense and then saw the reviews and score on here so I went to Zara to test and eventually get it. I got to Zara and I sprayed Sunset Intense and Sunrise Intense on each hand. While walking home, I kept smelling them and thinking damn, the Sunset one kinda slaps and the one I bought (Sunrise) kinda smells like those cheap concentrated lemon juices that people use in different cooking recipes. Well funny enough, the tester of Sunrise on the Red Sand Dunes Intense was in front of the batch of the Sand Desert At Sunset Intense fragrances. So due to not paying too much attention, I apparently grabbed one of those instead of the Sunrise ones. But, I tell you what, I don't mind at all, despite wanting a new fresh summer fragrance (this not really doing that job), it smells sexy as hell, and I still think I could be wearing this during evenings even in summer nights. I don't have a very refined nose to tell you how this develops and whatever, but I can definitely say that the cocoa, vanilla and butter are very noticeable. If you have a woman that fancies you a bit around you while wearing this, she'll probably want to grab a piece of you ngl

This isn't a dupe for Angels' Share. It's an exact dupe for D'Orsay Tonka Hysteria from their extrait range. Except this doesn't leave a weird smell on me during the dry down. Tonka Hysteria is also an Orris, Tonka, and Cinnamon fragrance. Please STOP comparing this to Angels' Share and Khamra - they are only similar in that they both have cinnamon in them. This is FAR less sweet and cloying than Angels' Share, and is not boozy. Once you stop comparing to those, and instead to Tonka Hysteria, then you'll be able to appreciate this for what it actually is, which is an incredibly elegant, unisex Tonka, Vanilla, Iris and Cinnamon fragrance. (I'm a woman and adore Iris scents - Dior Homme Intense is a fave). It's incredibly complex and you can pick out every note, even though it's very well blended. So, ladies, run don't walk to this fragrance. It's a 5th of the price of Tonka Hysteria and Angels' Share (if you MUST use this as a comparison). Obviously it's not an extrait and again... a 5th of the price, so by those standards, I'd say performance is amazing for the price. Another 10/10 from Zara.

#1821 in my “Tour de Fragrance” Blind bought this and could not be happier. First impression was Armani “Stronger with You”. As it opened up, more like something between Alghabra “Eye of Seven Hills” (an all-time favorite) and Frederic Malle’s also fabulous "Musc Ravageur.” Very incense forward. Smooth, good quality for the price. I found myself sniffing this all day. Leans masculine, but not heavily so. Versatile for any setting, but more causal wear. This was my first tryout of a Zara scent. 1272 scents in the database, so you kinda assume the quality won’t be great and the scents will be generic, so this was a nice surprise. The usual US retailers don’t carry the brand. So I took a chance on an eBay vendor and it worked out fine. Paid $41 for it and definitely worth that to me. Maybe I just lucked out, but I like this stuff and I’m going to give others a try, despite that I note they give fragrances names like “Vibrant Leather” that have no leather note in them. I’m open to suggestions from those more familiar with their fragrances. Good Luck and Good Hunting!

I usually think that you can wear most fragrances in whatever season you want, but this is definitely an exception. I'm not an expert in perfumery (yet) so I won't try to go too in depth about the smell. I can only tell you that I love it but I'll only use it for certain nights in winter/fall. And I do sense the cocoa in here. I need a bit more testing to properly talk about performance and sillage, but so far it's been solid and surpasses what you could expect from a 23€ bottle (100ml). Oh and one more thing, as I see some people voted orris and butter separately, I just wanted to clarify there's actually no butter in here, it is orris butter. I wish Fragrantica added this as a note because it could be confusing for most people. UPDATE: After a week of testing, I get around 2 hours of moderate/strong projection, and then it slowly becomes moderate/intimate. But it lasts like this for 12+ hours (on skin), so if you don't mind sillage to be mostly a small bubble around you, instead of a room filler, this is a very good purchase.

Too many cocoa and rubberish feeling at the opening (i feel this rubberish scent with almost every zara fragrance), but it gets better on the the drydown, smells just like a cinnamon roll. melted sugar and a little bit of fruits with some spicyness from the cinnamon. The fragrance its not plain at all, it doesnt even smell like a zara fragrance but as a designer one. Its a cheap masculine fragrance for the winter, also it makes me very hungry. Longevity: 10/10 i sprayed it 1 time on my watch band 2 days ago and i can still smell it from 15cm. Sillage: 9/10 With 3-4 sprays you can get a good sillage. Opening: 6/10 Very rubberish opening, synthetic. Drydown: 10/10 I love the drydown, i wish i could bite this fragrance. Price - quality ratio: 9/10, if the opening was better this could be an easy 10/10, mass appealing scent with spicy cinnamon roll smell. Should you buy it? This is a PERFECT fragrance for those cozy winters, at $35 / 100ml. Definitely but it.

Hand down the best Zara perfume ever released along with the Sunrise Intense. It is very warm, gourmand, cocolatey, cinnamon-vanilla gourmand that may recall Angel's Share but I disagree. Of course it smells similar since they are both cinnamon-gourmands, but this has less boozy vibes; more amber and vanilla with chocolate note instead of praline. Incense note is detectable in the composition as well, butl little to no iris is a bit sadly since I enjoyed it in the previous version. It offers a very great strength for Zara perfumes, lasts 7 hours and projection is delicious during the first two. If you want the stronger, smoother and something not an exact clone, this is the best choice. If you want the closest interpretation of Angel's Share, Nocturnal Life (If you can find it) would be the best. No point in going with the original when this one exists.

I love this scent, it's sweet and really sexy. It can be used for spring and summer if you want it to be a signature scent, it's not so spicy and warm that you can only use it for fall and winter like some reviews have said. It lasts about 6 hours on me and all day on clothes. But in terms of projection, I'm a bit skeptical about whether it's good or not. It's very strong for the first 1-2 hours, then it becomes closer to the skin. However if I leave my sprayed jacket in the room I can smell the scent wafting through the room all day without having to go near the jacket. It's ridiculous to think it's a copy of Angels' Share, guys they have the same designer and that's weird to say designer copied their own work LOL

For the price point, this is exceptional value. Immediately opens with a smooth chocolate feel. Not overbearingly sweet and balanced well by aspects of vanilla, woods and a faint orange in the background. This is certainly unisex and very appealing to the masses. You will get complimented should people get close enough to you. The performance is on the more intimate side but I get decent longevity out of this. Much better than the original version. I wouldn't compare this to Angel's Share, rate it as a stand alone piece. It's best applied during cold winter days or slightly chilled evenings. Overall, I'd give this one an 8.5 out of 10.

Absolute delight, not cheap smell at all. It smells like cinamon and vanilla mixed with some spices. Very well blended, it’s very lightly boozy too, despite the fact that it is not a note listed. I can detect a hint of orris root too, not powdery like usual but in a more airy way. Overall, not a sugary sweet smell nor a freshie, even in the opening where the bergamot/bitter orange notes fade quickly. The fact that this perfume smells so classy makes it very versatile for me, it could suit even in Summer days if it is parcimoniously sprayed. Way better that Lattafa Khamrah imo. Longevity is quite good.

Wow. Like another reviewer I was planning on getting the original, and I never knew this existed. I tried both on each arm and for the next 2 arms I could smell the Intense, and it's so fresh, zing, but smooth. It's what I wanted Terre D'Hermes to be, it's so much more interesting. In the UK it's £25 which is great but Europe pay about 22 Euro. I dont know why spring and summer are voted the lowest, thats when it would be perfect, but it would work any season. This is my first Zara fragrance, and I heard they discontinue often, so I may get another bottle soon.

Anyone who claims this isn't very similar to the A.s perfume is simply mistaken. While there's a definite resemblance, this fragrance distinguishes itself with different notes and the absence of a boozy accord. In some aspects, it even outperforms A.s. I have to say, it's a really well-done fragrance, I'm quite impressed. This is a fantastic option for those who enjoy sweet gourmand scents. 9/10 (for gourmand lovers)

this is an excellent fragrance for the price point, a light version of angel’s share. Very easy to use , i’m planning to restock it after I’ve finished this bottle. Sweeter and more feminine than khamrah qahwa that’s the reasons why i use it up so fast. Projection and longevity is just like Zara perfumes in general. If u like angel’s share give this a try, cos you can enjoy angel’s share in spring and summer too.

This is similar to AS, but without that boozyness, its sweet for sure and I think you can also pull out on warmer weather (spring). For example, if you want to have strong sillage then use Bentley for Men Intense, but if you want something milder, not overpowering, this is great choice. This is actually a very good Zara fragrance and its safe blind buy if you love sweet, unisex and gourmand fragrance.

My god... this is amazing. This lasted more than 24 hrs on my skin. The quality is phenomenol, smells like a Guerlain release, maybe L’homme ideal intense. However, I instantly thought of Mancera Tonka Cola... that boozy and cinnamon. The opening is spicy, incense, vanilla, boozy effervescent. Dries down very smooth and lasts all day. Dont even think about getting this, just get it.

As i have already reviewed the original, not much to add for this one - the same sweet, warm, boozy amber with hints of buttery, chocolatey gourmand goodness, but this time slightly denser. One of the best ZARA scents outside the Jo Malone line. Never a bad purchase.

my favourite cologne for colder weather in my collection 10/10 smell 10/10 price 8/10 bottle quite mass appealing but also unique. This is great for anyone who doesn't like sweet scents (like me) and is looking for a warm amber cologne for an INCREDIBLE price.

Angel's Share without sharp cognac and it blends with Dior Homme Parfum and a sweet orange when it starts to dry. I mean it's 20 and smells like a designer, that's a robbery. If you really want to see some down sides, Idk perhaps it might feel cloying for you.

Most delicious scent ever, definitely one of the more unique fragrances that Zara has produced out of their large lineup of clean and blue scents. This smells very warm and gourmand, definitely a unisex fragrance.

It's been 6 months since i bought this fragrance, at first people had mixed opinions (me included), after a while i began to like it more. Great fragrance for winter and autumn (can go for chilly spring days too)

Better than most AS clones because it smells classier, less cloying, less sweetness. The only other AS inspired fragrance i like is FA Royal Blend, that one is a copy paste clone and smells great as well.

really nice, sweet, complex, warm spicy fragrance. worth the money. reminds me of angel's share, just not boozy enough. the cinnamon and all the 'winter spices' are there. pretty good longevity for zara.

Dark dense gourmand spiced vanilla scent with lactonic nuances. Dense hutten envelopes it all. Slightly similar to kismet magic, but without the booze. This is much darker, denser and spicier.

Perfect clone of Givenchy Gentleman Reserve Privée, very good price for what it is, I highly recommend it, also this fragrance doesnt smell nothing like khamrah or angel share

This is definitely not an angel’s share clone. I don’t find this boozy. The drydown reminds me more of Stronger With You Absolutely, but less sweet. Is it worth it? Yes.

This is just a beautiful fragrance. Less boozy and chocolaty than kismet magic, more buttery, very gourmand. Strong projection and sillage, decent longevity.

Really good, really sweet and super cheap, brilliant for winter. Performance isn’t brilliant, but is expected at this low price, I got for around $40

Stop comparing this masterpiece to AS, and other perfumes. This is NOT a clone. This is probably one of the best release this Year.

The exact same thing happened to me as what Simba33 mentioned earlier in the comments. I tried to buy the dupe of Imagination, and I ended up with this one instead. When I got home and realised it wasn’t the same, I didn’t return it, I just kept it. That was a few months ago, and now that the weather has finally gotten a bit cooler here in Central America, it was the perfect moment to try it... and wow, I’ve been using it a lot lately and I’m honestly fascinated and in love. Let me tell you, I’ve never been into sweet perfumes, or gourmands, or anything heavy on vanilla or ambers. But this Sand Desert At Sunset Intense by Zara has genuinely surprised me. Yes, it’s sweet and yes, it’s strong, but it has so many spices and a bit of incense and smoke that everything just comes together and keeps it from being cloying. I’m really, really liking it. Now, everyone says it’s a dupe for Angels’ Share by Kilian, which I’ve never smelled personally, I’ve only seen it around and heard people mention it. So now I’m intrigued to smell it and see if I end up liking it as much as this Zara dupe. I’ve also never smelled Sand Desert At Sunset (the non-Intense version), so I honestly have nothing to compare it to. Actually I don’t have anything this sweet in my collection because I usually run away from fragrances like that, who knew I would’ve fall for this one!

For anyone looking for an angels share clone, look further because this isn't it. But for anyone looking for a cheaper alternative this will suffice. In terms of scent profile I can see the inspiration it drew from AS with it being a cinnamon forwards gourmand but for the rest it's vastly different 60-70% close at best. Now let's put the comparision to AS aside and focus on the fragrance itself, whereas AS leans quite feminine I think this is unisex. It's far from the most creative fragrance of all time, but it's mass appealing and likeable. It has sweetness some spicyness, not boozy or woody though. Cedarwood is not a note I like being on the forefront and it isn't in this fragrance. The performance is better than the original sand desert at sunset and is vastly surperior to most zara fragrances. I got a solid 8 hours but with soft projection after about an hour. The price is pretty good for what you're getting. It costs about 25 euros for a simple gourmand with decent performance. I hate the gold cap but the bottle itself is alright just very boring

I just picked this up in store an hour ago. Off the first few sniffs in store, its like 60% similar to Angel's Share but that does not mean its bad! Infact its quite a pleasant smell that is more masculine than AS and more wearable. I definately recommend you to go and try it if youre into this DNA. The bottle has a nice presentation to it but I HATE the cap. Wish they would've gone with the magnetic caps like with the vibrant leather line of the Vibrant Leather elixer bottles. This cap is cheap plastic and the vertical ridges on it makes it impossible to grip and open the cap. All in all, these new bottles definately need maceration, so spray them like 10 times and leave them in the box in a dark place for atleast 3 months. I know winter might be over by then for some but trust me its worth it because it will definately turn into a beautiful smell with very good performance. I did that with my Vibrant Leather and tobacco elixer and it get me hella compliments daily.

I remember once I went into a Zara store searching for Sunrise on the Red Sand Dunes Intense but I forgot the name and my dyslexic ass ended up trying this one and I felt disgusted. The opening is very harsh. Then I went again, a couple of months later and informed better, and smelled both. This one and the Imagination dupe. I can only speak positive about this fragrance. The people that says it has no silage are delusional. I left my scent strip on my desk after I got home and 30 min later the whole rooms smells of vanilla and cinnamon. If you like gourmand, this one wont disappoint. But keep in mind that the opening isn't as warm and welcoming and sweet as the dry down.

This is a clone of an under appreciated fragrance from Versace Atelier called Gingembre. For real. Go test them side by side. The problem is that you’re getting what you’re paying for. They smell almost exactly alike, except the Versace is a nuclear blast of some Ambroxen-like molecule with praline/tonka sweetness that packs a punch. This is the skin scent version of that without stellar performance. I love the smell of this, but it simply doesn’t project off my skin well.

Not quite A.S. but close enough. Unbeatable price in comparison. Love the buttery almost caramel-y dry down with hints of a citrus peel. It's like if you were taking a sip of a bourbon-based cocktail and the garnish brushes your nose. Perfect blind buy for a masculine-leaning gourmand lover.

It is really similar to LMLP to my nose. The opening might seem a bit artificial and unrealistic, but other than that, it's pretty great for $25. Just try not to overspray it (3-4 sprays are enough)

Warm yummy amber desert, blwnded very well. Specifically for date nights. Unisex, performance and projection is solid. Another Zara banger.

Super gourmandy fragrance. Orange and chocolate (or praline) combination is what I can smell from this fragrance. But it’s pretty much a skin scent which can only be smelled if you dig your nose deep. Spraying on clothes doesn’t help much either. Maybe maceration could help it a bit but honestly I don’t think it will greatly change its performance. Since it smells like dessert more than a fragrance, I don’t know if this could be considered attractive or compliment pulling. Could be a better fragrance on a woman.

I dont know what the hype is on this, it smells like a watered down version of Angels Share. They didnt have a tester in the store so I bought this blind, but if there was a tester I would not have bought this because its pretty weak. It smells more like weaker version of Kismet Angel, which is of course a copy of Angels Share I can barely smell the vanilla, its leaning more on spices Thought I was getting something better this.

If you're a fan of ultra-sweet fragrances, Sand Desert at Sunset Intense might initially seem like a dream. This fragrance starts off as a sweet bomb — and it does not let go. The vanilla is thick, overpowering, and lingers for hours. While its longevity is impressive, the intensity quickly becomes too much. What begins as cozy turns cloying, and after a while, it’s hard not to feel nauseated.
