IMPORTANT: if you buy this or any of Zara refillable bottles please adjust them tight to avoid leakage. Do this and there will be no problem! The scent opens with orange and boozy notes, the start is quite masculine. It quickly becomes unisex however. If I didn't know any better I would have said ginger is also in here because there is something "spicy zesty" that goes away after just a minute. Rum, (not listed but I can swear on it), fades in to the middle of the fragrance giving space to an intense mix of nuts and sweet notes; I feel bitter almond mixed with smoked crystallised sugar which almost gives to the fragrance a sweet licorice accord, but a gentle one. Those almonds have a bitter quality to them but at the same time they seam toasted and sugared. At this point, to tell the truth, I am reminded so much of Etro Heliotrope and L'Erbolario Mandorla wich I love! The fragrance is now very very warm and addictive. I can not pick up on the chocolate but I will say vanilla is clearly mixed with the rich tonka beans. Cinnamon is here but it's very delicate, it doesn't have the coca-cola effect and it is used in a warm subdued way. I also smell the richness of heliotrope and I can catch a somewhat powdery sensation at this stage (again, this brings to mind, together with the "licorice" aspects, certain stage of Dior Midnight Poison minus the apricot and play doh notes). I wonder now if Tulù/Perù balsam is in here because it can give the effect listed above. Also a resinous quality is easly felt (benzoin in the dry down? Can it be?)...In all the composition I smell so much more then the given notes. Something fruity can be lightly felt too, in the form of the ghost of a candied fruit (like the ones you find in Italian Christmas panettone or like a Christmas gelly candy, or cooked apple if we want to be specific). It wpuld seem a gourmand, alright...but what makes this unisex and wanderfull to my nose is the frankincese note. This note is constantly present through the composition and makes it refined, smoked and deep, gifting to it that "fresh incense/balsam" quality that almost reads as powdery, and it is a gem in my eyes! Infact the powdery effect in here is a smoked powdery one, nothing to do with heliotrope (or flowers and classic iris, which is supposed to be here). The marriage of all this aspects is what makes this niche like in my opinion. Now on to the dry down...what a surprise! And so beautiful...I don't know if flowers are really there but I smell delicate tree flowers (almond flowers maybe?) and a tender iris, they give such a gentle touch...flowers, tonka and frankincese, that is what the dry down is made of...perhaps even a touch of labdanum and surely some dry wood. Something very similar to sweet benzoin gives proper closure. A smoky, purple, witchy concotion comes to mind with this dry down...my imagination is flying to October, to the reassuring atmosphere of Halloween. Ah, so nostalgic! Gorgeous. This is back up worthy for me. Love it! Lasted pretty well, 6/7 hours on me and moderate sillage. EDIT: just wanted to add that this is not a Angel's Share dupe. They share their spirit but the soul is different. Surely similar but different enough to be their own thing. To me this Zara edition is even more special and elevated (with that smoky frankincese, the flower, and the resinous quality). It is BETTER then Angel's Share for my taste! I don't think Killian would give leave to the perfumer to copy paste the composition so even if he wanted to...I think he has done so well in reworking that scent profile. Also worth mentioning is that the boozyness of Sand Desert at Sunset is quite similar to that of Zara Rich Warm Addictive, but more potent. I think they share quite a bit those two perfumes in terms of genre and warm feeling although remaining different! So if you like one chances are you will like the other.

Sand Desert At Sunset unisex bombshell is a delicious blend of boozy, spicy, woody, and gourmand accords. It starts with a robust woody combination with an equally powerful alcoholic arrangement. Aged wood and spirit. If you’ve ever visited a cellar that produces ancient spirits, the smell that permeates the air combines the alcoholic liquid and the old wood of the casks. I get an unmentionable liqueur note mixed with the wood smoke and roasted tonka from the bottom. This initial aroma is not new to me, and I seem to remember a similar one in the "#Tobacco Collection - Rich/Warm/Addictive | Zara" perfume. The heart of Sand Desert At Sunset is a full gourmand accord that smells like cinnamon dough. Vanilla, tonka bean, and cinnamon form a delicious sticky dough accord. It’s like cinnamon cookies, apple pie, and any mouth-watering dessert with cinnamon powder. We have vanilla and cinnamon, which form a warm and rich amber. A caramel accent like that of dulce de leche is more evident than chocolate. These sweet and gourmand elements gradually push back the cinnamon, creating a better balance. Smoky and resinous touches of incense mix with spices, making the heart slightly smoky but not clerical. As the scent develops, the sweetness remains constant, but the cinnamon fades, allowing some more woody underlying accords to emerge – cedar, perhaps, but definitely a light creamy sandalwood-like component. They work well with sweetness while also adding a slight dryness. There are also some powdery aspects. The iris is noticeable without prevailing. It’s buttery and powdery but not the center of attention like in "Dior Homme Original (2011) (Eau de Toilette) | Dior" or "L'Homme Intense | Prada". Here it serves to recreate the sand of the desert dunes. Aged spirit, spiced cinnamon, and roasted tonka show brilliantly in Sand Desert At Sunset. This is a genuinely exceptional scent, a superbly ripe gourmand that balances liqueur and spice notes with a subtle woodiness to keep the vanilla and chocolate from seeming almost cloying or overpowering and undermining the scent. Some people might find the contrast a little sweet and too sharp for them. However, it’s not one of the sweetest alcoholic scents I’ve ever smelled, nor is it too chocolaty, gourmand, or nutty. ZARA released this collection at the beginning of the year, around mid-January, and this fragrance goes perfectly with the cold weather of the autumn and winter months. The result is an intoxicating fragrance with a woody background. The richness of its warm spices, intense resins, and smoked woods make it unsuitable for spring warmth or torrid summer heat. The duration and projection are below average, but it holds up well for an evening or a night. For the day and for work, it is dense and intense. An excellent and unexpected surprise. I am basing my review on a bottle I have owned since March 2023.

Beautiful heavy glass bottle and label. My nozzle leaked a bit so tried to screw on the cap tighter. Atomizer on point. Silage is moderate, projection is moderate, but longevity is long lasting. My test is - does it last until the morning after a night shower? It does. Faint, but it's there and the base is gorgeous, even 8 hours later. Now. Benoist. How'd you do? In three words, it's boozy, warm and sexy. The juice is subtle, smoky, a warm amber incense. Not heavy. Not screechy. Smooth. Light. I feel that there will be some maceration as this perfume begins to breathe and mingle with the oxygen. Warm sweet. Rum. Not as sweet as rich warm addictive but beautiful in a more dignified way. Let's see. How shall I put this. Imagine Rich Warm Addictive by Zara is your favourite soft warm chocolate pastry with a glass of boozy hot chocolate in a log cabin with a pipe smoking charming dashing cowboy cracking jokes - so handsome, so comfortable. Well. Now let's switch to 'Sand Desert at Sunset.' A private jet can also be comfortable. A luxury glass home in the Redwood trees, Cherry Brandy in a Waterford crystal sniffer, an orange peel on the side, and long silk dress with cream cashmere cardigan. There's a fire burning. Someone's smoking rich tobacco. The furniture is brown leather. Almond croissants in a basket fresh from the boulangerie. This is comfortable too. And this time replace the friendly dusty cowboy with James Bond himself - in a tux since you just got out of the speedboat from a party on the mainland that was lent to the two of you by Batman (of Batmobile/Wilfred Pennyworth fame) because you're now off to save the world. The two of you. And then there's the kiss. Made even more sexy by the scent of Benoist Lapouza's Sand Desert at Sunset. Packing a night bag. Rushing up steps into the jet, hand in hand. And what do you know, after a short night flight there's an easy landing. The sun is about to set. You are now in the Middle East. Bond has changed into a crisp white shirt and brown pants, brown belt. Sleek matte black motorbike. His feminine better half has pulled her long black silky hair into a bun; she's wearing a white tank top under her soft leather jacket, on the back of his bike racing through the streets. There is a flower seller is putting away his inventory of the night. They stop to buy, she takes a sniff and smiles. They laugh. He pays the man, the engine revs and they're off as if riding a bullet. The warm scent of resinous smoke, with a tinge of cinnamon, floating in the air behind them, petals in the air, the orange of the sun has finally set. Fireflies at night.

Recent years Zara have done lot of beautiful and quality lines and I appreciate that approach. A month ago I bought a great scent - Magnificent Black by Hamid Merati-Kashani from a new black line from 4 wonderful fragrances. I'm very impressed with with this new Zara explosion, so when I saw there is a brand new White line with 4 scents, I was eager to try them all. I tested them all and all of them are really great quality scents, but my heart goes to Sand Desert At Sunset!!! What you should know about Sand Desert At Sunset? This is very cozy and seductive fragrance with focus on the notes of Cherry, Tonka, Coca Cola, Caramel, Amber, Cinnamon, Oak, Benzoin, Iris and Honey. On my skin the most prominent and powerful note is the Cherry and it's absolute divine! So sexy, so inviting and playful, still natural. If you love cherry - please, go for it! Sand Desert At Sunset is marvelous! Later, when the tonka comes, the party is getting hot! I can sense the Coca Cola vibe, the good mood and definitely gives you positive vibe. At that point it's not sweet and thick. But...later when the amber and the caramel join the party, wow! Just wow! Sand Desert At Sunset becomes richer, denser and lot deeper! At this second part of the scent life, the boozy aspect is getting stronger. It's like a nice glass of aged Rum or Cognac with beautiful notes of creamy amber, sweet cinnamon and royal oak! Just stunning! And the curious moment here is - despite many powerful notes are mixed extremely well, the cherry is still in charge! Which is awesome! Going to the deep drydown, we have even deeper vibes with kind of sweet and smoky oak, benzoin and modern type of iris. The iris here is modern and sexy, inviting. Nothing old, dusty, dry or hard to wear. Just beautiful Iris, similar to the iris in many modern scents like Gentleman Eau de Parfum, Valentino Uomo Intense, Armani Code Parfum and so on. At the end of the scent life I can detect the note of honey - it gives more body to the scent and it makes it more rounded, warm and cozy. Performance is excellent on my skin - great projection, great longevity. By the way, this performance is typical for all 4 black and 4 white Zara new scents. Final words - Benoist Lapouza did an exceptional work here! Sand Desert At Sunset will be a wonderful new addition to all of you, who love cozy, creamy and rich cherry-tonka scents! Amazing addictive and deep at the same time fragrance. Love it :)

Sand Desert At Sunset Zara When I first tested this at Zara on a test strip, it comes across as slightly spicy, semi sweet, has rum or liquor and suggests to me that it's either a hybrid or alternative to Angels' Share By Kilian and the sweetness seems to point me to Armani's Stronger with You vibe. But there's something more and it smells really good, smells much more expensive. The hard cardboard LE box was available for $35.90 discounted from $49.90 Singapore dollars so I bought it with a bunch of other Zara scents. I opened it the next day in office and give it a couple of sprays in the air and on a colleague, smells really good but was focused on another frag. A week later, today did a full wear. First impression is it's spicy but the spiciness is well balanced by the other notes, I get the incense and an aromatic Cocoa it seems, there's definitely liquor or rum in this. If I'm to think of any scents that have similarities or vibe to Sand Desert At Sunset, there's some Lattafa Khamrah vibe, I have a decant for Kismet Angel and there are similarities too. However, Sand Desert At Sunset is Not sweet, it's just nice, not the kind of sweet you get from JPG frags, still pretty Gourmandy semi sweet. As for how close it is to Angels' Share I can't really comment but Sand Desert At Sunset I don't get the apple and seems easier to wear as it's not that burnt sugar like either. I'll say this is a good wear for most guys. Ladies may like wearing this too. It smells a few times more than the actual price of this frag. One more important thing everyone needs to know. Benoist Lapouza is the perfumer for Sand Desert At Sunset. He is also famed for his Angels' Share. Yes, same perfumer. So now you know, it's basically his own AS flanker renamed as Sand Desert At Sunset in a Zara bottle. A more wearable less sweet AS flanker at a very very affordable price. Get this before it's gone.

Got this one after I read about Killian Angel's Share comparisions. I have the AS as well, and I absolutely love it. After I tried SDAS, I was amazed by the similarity since my expectations were so low. Especially in my college years, I had some well crafted Zara dupes like 9.0 so I knew that they make it close enough but frags never scream quality. This one is different in my book. Close enough to the original thing but holds its own in a way. Smooth, smells so natural and nothing bothers. "Watered down" AS is not a fair thing to say. Rather, I would argue it smells like something inspired by AS. Stays forever on knitwear and projects longer than most designer fragrances I had over the years. 6-8 hours without refreshing. However, becomes intimate after a while. If you apply 8-9 sprays you can hope it leaves a trail behind, but even then for not more than 2 hours. Yet, lasts on the skin and clothes for much longer. AS differs from SDAS in this context naturally, stays loud for longer and its performance is incredible on me. Overall, very good pickup for this price range. Most of the time I do not waste my AS, and use SDAS for office or other standard activities. Again, I go crazy for any frag that has Iris and Tonka together. So both the original and SDAS sit in my shelf of favourites. Note: It smells "similar" to the Angel's Share, it does not have the ingredient quality, nor the thickness and richness of Angel's Share. If you want something closer to the OG, you can try Lattafa Khamrah or Kismet Angel. My review is only positive due to its price point, this is a fast fashion Zara dupe after all. 8/10.

If I had the ability, I would pen a poem for this perfume. Cinnamon apple strudel. The apples and cinnamon have marinated, intermingled, the sauce is sweet but not sickly, viscous but not cloying. Perhaps there are more spices there, perhaps a splash of brandy, but neither of these are prominent enough to be sure. Unisex. Makes a great scent bubble. Lasts for hours. If you wear this, you will become deliciousness itself. I would reccommend this to gourmand lovers. Previously I found spices to be challenging in perfume, but I think this is a great accessible step into that territory, given its sweet cooked apple gourmand profile. And if you decide you would prefer to go no further, I think you would still be happy. For me, this opened my mind up to spices. The only perfume I have wanted to buy a backup bottle of, factoring in Zara's penchant for discontinuing the greats. Currently out of stock, but they seem to be restocking the other 3 in the line. Excuse me Zara, please bring this one back too! (Tin foil hat time: Is that a typo of the perfumer's name on the bottle? Perhaps they are sorting out reprints... then surely it will be back... right?) Edit: I’ll say it, I think this is the best fragrance Zara has released.

This is one of the most outstanding ZARA perfumes. The opening has rum, burnt sugar, and vanilla None of them stand out, but are well balanced. It starts off with an impressive scent without being overwhelming. There's not as much apple as people say, and it feels more like ice cream with rum poured over it and roasted over a burner than apple pie. The drydown is phenomenal. A perfectly blended, light and soft vanilla cloud. The power of the sugar subsides, the sharpness of the rum is mellowed, and the ghostly vanilla, all of them fit together and balance. On my skin it only lasts about 2 hours, but not on clothing. As for the drydown, it turns into a monster that lasts for 3 days. The opening and drydown have a consistent structure, but the impression you get is completely different. I loved the drydown from clothing with this fragrance, and I wore it all year round, both in summer and winter. It's been compared to Angel's Share, but I think it's a different thing. It doesn't have the heaviness or apple flavor of Angel's Share, and it doesn't have the burnt sweetness of the drydown, so the only time it feels similar is for a brief moment at the beginning. For that reason, I prefer this over Angel's Share.

Let's start off correctly - this is not a clone of Angel's Share. AS has a very distinct cognac/apple brandy note and is much sweeter than Sand Desert at Sunset. SDAS rather is doing its own thing, but it is undeniable that there might have been some inspiration. The smell is comforting, inviting, and warm. The opening's orange and cinnamon leave you out like a bakery, in a great way that is never overpowering. The tonka and chocolate drydown is for me the most prominent part, and I do not smell an incense or iris note as listed. I wish there was a vanilla note on this, but it could have been disastrous. Its a beautiful scent whose dry down are reminiscent to me of Hugo Boss' The Scent for Him, but with less freshness and leaning into the sweetness of the notes. Lasts a long time on me and 24 hours plus on my girlfriend which is insane. Pretty unisex leaning male IMO. I got it as a Christmas Secret Santa gift (impressive choice by my uncle), so can't comment on value fairly. But damn, its a great pricetag for what you get. If you are into gourmand and sweet fragrances, please get your nose on this.

My goodness. What a delicious fragrance! I was lucky enough to be able to pick this up for less than 10 euros while it was on sale. I didn’t have high hopes considering the price, but this stuff delivers! It opens with a warm and inviting apple-cinnamon note, with just the right amount of sweetness. Definitely not cloying or syrupy sweet, this has the right dose of everything and it’s actually really well blended. The chocolate in this is amazing, with a hint of iris giving it a slightly powdery character. Dries down to a slightly woody, spicy and sweet gourmand scent. A truly unisex fragrance, but it lies slightly masculine in my opinion. It also lasts at least 5-6 hours on skin and sticks around for about a week on my clothes. I wouldn’t consider this a “clone” of Angel’s Share. SDAS is less sweet and more powdery, it’s different enough to be a fragrance on its own. Though I think it draws inspiration from many fragrances I own and love: Angel’s Share, Oajan, Dior Homme Intense and Dior Homme Parfum. If you like any of these fragrances, this will be right up your alley.

Wow this is amazing! This smells very expensive and luxurious. I’m so glad that I blind bought it. It is a warm, sweet, and spicy fragrance. It smells like a gourmand cinnamon pie with some spices added.🥧🤎 Yes, it is similar to angel’s share, but just more airy. Definitely not a 1:1 dupe to Angel’s share. It actually smells almost identical to Alexandre J imperial peacock. I have both, and the price point of imperial peacock is outrageous, so I am beyond excited that I finally found a dupe. The only difference is that imperial peacock is a little bit sweeter and fruitier, and this one has more cinnamon and is more dry, but otherwise they are almost identical. I know this is marketed for men, but it is very unisex and anyone who loves spicy, warm and sweet gourmands can enjoy this one. It is a perfect winter time treat. Overall, this is one of Zara’s best creations and I hope they make it permanent. Longevity is moderate about 4-5 hours. PS. If you own Kayali Vanilla 28, please try layering it with this. You will smell like the most delicious sweet gourmand snack

It's my second review of this scent, the first one was when it was still in the process of maceration. After 2 months of opening it I can say that it came together masterfully. I've never smelled Angels Share so I can't attest to its similarity. SDAT is a very cinnamon forward scent with accords of chocolate, tonka, vanilla, juicy fresh orange and even toffi. In the opening its straight cinnamon with tonka, as it sets you get more of the orange sourness until it dries down to basically cinnamon, toffi, chocolate candy. The longevity is around 7 hours but stays on clothes for days. It doesnt project much after the first 2 hours but I'm fine with it because I don't like for everyone in the room to smell me, only the close people nearby. for 2 hours its very strong, later its moderate and after the 7 hours its intimate. This is my favourite winter perfume, its sweet and spicy without being harsh and cloying, it has above avarage longevity, it's widely available and affordable and it's gotten me a lot of compliments.

I did not smell Angel's Share by Killian or Lattafa Khamrah as of yet, so I am considering Sand Desert at Sunset as a stand alone perfume, not a dupe of anything. It is so cinnamon-y that I feel the winter holiday vibe, but who cares? I wear it during daytime and in the hot-dry weather of Central TX (if I stay inside a room). I am a girl and this perfume is perfect for me, though I bought it from the men's section. It's sweet, spicy, warm and gourmandish and any gender who likes these accords can pull it off. At first spray, I get the sweet cinnamon. After a while, I start to smell the gourmand accords (maybe from tonka bean and praline?). After 4/5 hours, I get the oriental spicy vibe mixed with the sweet cinnamon which lingers on for the rest of the time. It's a very long lasting perfume on my clothes (stays for a day, yes, 24 hours straight). I don't spray perfumes on my skin (they don't last), so I can't comment on that.

I bought this because of the reviews, and the first time I went to Zara to smell it I was like........wtf is this sweet-smelling nonsense......and I walked out of the store grumpy and feeling lied to, not even sniffing my arm one more time to see if I still hated it. Two weeks later I went back to Zara and actually let it sit on my skin and I walked around for a few hours to give it a fair shot. For some reason it was like it was working OVERTIME because this time I loved how it smelled. On my skin it has this beautiful, rich woody vanilla opening that dries down to an incense and a hint of that original vanilla. It's sweet yet mature, almost intoxicating. I can't wear this in this current heat but once winter comes I might need a backup bottle. One thing I did notice is that they spell Benoist Lapouza's name right on the box, but it's misspelled on the actual bottle. weird.

Ok, I just picked this up, and WOW, this juice is delicious. Every part of it, from the top notes, to the drydown, is a piece of heaven. It goes from a sweet cinnamon smell, to one of the most amazing dark chocolately smells i have ever smelled. The base notes give you a tiny taste of some iris mixed with the cinnamon again, and is actually addictive to smell. My previous experiences with Zara have not been that great, but this has changed my mind regarding their lineup. Zara has definitely stepped up their fragrance game. Like others have said, backup bottle worthy for sure. Update: Been wearing this around the house for a couple of days, and man oh man, this might be one of my new favorite fragrances in my collection. If you enjoy gourmand fragrances, and are contemplating buying this, please do. You can thank me later.

I expected this to be super masculine and cologne-like but it’s very unisex! Really similar to Kilian Angels’ Share but a tiny bit spicier, a little less boozy, and the light fresh apple scent in the dry down of Angels’ Share is replaced by a faint orange scent. I smell distinct iris and a tiny bit of incense and cedar, but no dark chocolate. Has moderate sillage and lasts nearly all day. In terms of perfumes listed as similar— ✔️ Fragrance World Cocktail Intense: similar but more appley and not as spicy ✔️ Maison Alhambra Kisment Angel/Magic: similar but more appley and not as spicy ❌ Paris Corner Emir Fire Your Desire: much woodier, less boozy, and smells a bit like dates ❌ Zara Pistachio Infusion: more of a fresh apple scent ❌ Zimaya Sharaf Blend: woodier and more powdery with distinct dates

Such an amazing scent! Sweet-oriental delight, but not overwelming (it shares some similarities with Khamrah, but Khamrah it is way sweeter than this one)! Very easy to wear on colder days and definetly unisex. I know Zara has problems with logevity, but this one really impressed me, over 5-6 hours, and 2-3 hours really strong! Definetly a banger from Zara! Bought already 2 bottles, just in case! It's a 10 from me! Edit* it has nothing to do with Zara Rich Warm, there are 2 different stories! Update: after 2 weeks of wearing this, i just can't get enough of it, who cares that is a clone, i don't really care....i LOVE IT!!! Thank God i was able to buy another bottle because i can't find it anywhere! Such a f**cking great scent! Well done Zara! Please keep it regularly in your shops!

I've never tried Angel's Share or any of the fragrances inspired by it, so all I can say is that this one smells amazing without comparing it to any other. I fell in love with it from the first sniff, perfectly blended cinnamon, chocolate, tonka beans and a slight touch of orange. Sweet, spicy and creamy, completely unisex and a very addictive gourmand scent. I live in a country where it is cold during most of the year so this is one I will definitely be using very often, I just can't seem to get tired of it. Longevity and projection are just average but for its price, it is still absolutely worth it to get a bottle. It's an AS dupe, however, I think it's good enough to be considered it's own scent. I think AS is more apple forward, while this one leans boozier. Its a compliment-getter, for sure. I would consider it one of Zara's best perfumes, I wear it almost daily. It's good for a date night or just going out in general, I wear it regardless of season or occasion, it's that good. Very sweet scent, boozy, sugary, subtle wood notes. I love it, will rebuy whenever it runs out. Super worth it for the price. I got to smell the Intense version and its a sweeter, more cinnamon forward version of its original, not bad, but I still think this one is the best. I would recommend it to anyone as its perfectly unisex.

This is pure amazingness melting away! Cinnamon can’t possibly be sweeter or more beautiful than this. I percieve this as ambery caramelized dessert something, like when you literally are cooking butterscotch and there is cinnamon in the air from some cookies in the oven. Probably tonka just acing whatever tonka does. Incense? Maybe subtly - like the nice scent of unburned sticks, not the incense molecule you find in Poison and the like that I’m bothered by. The name seems fitting: this smells like an amazing sunset feels. I see Pine tree sand dunes, though. A tendency towards fading fast, but could be nose blindness from constantly sniffing this. I spray this on my clothes, though.

This stuff is for real great, at first I liked it but it was a bit too gourmand for me. I still decided to pick it up in case I needed to wait till it got cold to enjoy it but after giving it some time I really have no regrets, by around early august I had come to like it. Its name holds true as it whisks you away to the desert as its getting dark. You see a small tent as you crest a dune and get a whiff of incense, it starts getting a bit chilly so you walk inside. A man inside hands you a cup of hot cocoa. Side note this is DANGEROUS if you pair it with By the fireplace. Easily my favorite combination of gourmands.

Backup bottle worthy. Lasting power is not as great but It almost smells better than angels share. Still lasts a good 4 5 hours until irs very faint. That's just on skin though. My boyfriend loves this scent profile and so do I. I wish it weren't so expensive for a zara fragrance but honestly, totally worth it. After wearing for a bit the one very noticable difference is in the dry down. Is sand desert dry down you get a good amount of sandalwood. You do not get strong sandalwood in Angelshare. There is a noticable different between the two in the dry down but both are beautiful. Both unisex too.

6 hours and pumping on my skin. I have Angel’s Share, and this is a toned down version of it, by the same perfumer. The toned down is actually great, because A.S. Is a beast on my skin. Better by a lot than all the Lattafa clones. Sand Desert At Sunset is delicate, lingers around you, not loud but noticeable. It’s subtle but present. Soft and noble. This is for a Winter, Spring, Fall office friendly fragrance. You will not choke people up. It’s a lovely scent. I am enjoying it. Angel’s Share will be for special occasions. I got a backup bottle. When is gone, IT WILL BE GONE.

Sprayed this on the back of my hand while in a local Zara. I no longer buy fragrances based on first sniffs - I’ve already got more than enough discarded scents I’ve acquired that way - and I simply wanted to see what it would become as it dried down. That said, I will definitely go back and pick it up because it smells terrific. According to Zara, it’s incense, orange, cinnamon, tonka bean, iris, cedar, and chocolate. It’s super-smooth, with no jarring transitions. That Zara can offer this for under $30 is incredible. It smells much more expensive than it is.

So apparently this is a dupe, but I haven't smelt the original. On me I smelt nothing, but I bought it on my partner, and on their skin it's pure love and yearning. Ambery chocolate, smells a bit like honey and cashmere. Rich, gourmand, and velvety. Goes great layered with Rose Gourmand. Reminds me of a sunset on another, desolate, desert-y planet. Fades out leaving their skin smelling earthy and delicious. "A few more sun rays before the comforting nocturnal embrace", writes Benoist Lapouza. Yes, yes, yes. I hope it becomes my partner's signature scent.

From my point of view, Sand Desert at Sunset is a nice inoffensive gourmand scent that doesn‘t project too much, but still lasts fairly long (I get 6-8h). It even works well on cool summer nights because of that. Where this scent really shines though, is as a pillow scent. The tonka and vanilla are much more noticeable off of paper or fabric, and they linger around for much longer than when worn on skin. As I don‘t love the top notes, I‘d suggest spraying it on 1-5h before sleep to get a nice comforting smell. It reminds me of gingerbread sometimes.

An impulse buy while searching for pants :) For its price, this fragrance works a thousand percent. The opening may seem too sweet, but the excessive sweetness quickly fades, giving way to a beautiful blend of tonka beans, chocolate, cedar, and perhaps old paper. I also can smell light notes of tobacco and incense, but I can hardly smell the orange at all. Very sexy one. If you want to smell like a million bucks in winter without spending more than you would on lunch at the food court, this is the one for you.

This is identical to the Pistacio Infusion from the same brand. Duration, scent, everything. I don't know why they had to double release the same juice with different name. If anything, Sand Desert seems to have done amazingly with their sales etc. So yeah, just buy whichever you like when it comes to size. (this is 100ml, pistachio is 30ml). But I've tried to nitpick differences and I'd lie if I say they have any. 😝 Both are great though. Sweet almost like caramel, cinnamon, with a bit of spice/choco feeling.

I blind bought this one on a recommendation and it is easily my favourite scent in my (albeit tiny) collection. It does smell very similar to Angels’ Share, though substantially less boozy. It’s not very long lasting, though it does much better on clothes than skin. I can spray this on my scarf in the morning and it still smells nice when I put it back on in the evening to go home. It reminds me of spiced apple pie baking in the oven with a wood fire burning in the background. Definite rebuy for the price.

Very, very beautiful! Devoted fan of Angels’ Share and I don’t care who approves or not. It’s too boozy, too sweet. Whatever! I love it. Sand Desert is on another level. It’s so good I honestly didn’t want to write a review on it. Cuz I don’t want everyone wearing it, like it’s BR540 lol. But now that it’s avail @zara, there’s no stopping it. Hard to describe but it’s like AS with a aldehydic bright and citrusy note. No booze, but damn is it good. Best of 23 without a doubt. And I copped a bottle.

A gourmand perfume that should be theoretically overwhelming. But no, it's smooth, it's not loud, it's warm, it's a bit intimate yet inviting, lasts longer on clothes and hair. I like it just like that. It could be too much, too sweet, too gourmand but it's a shy cinnamony, boozy, sweet scent that lets itself be smelled only by the people you let get close to you. I simply love it, I'm tired of super loud extra sweet gourmands. This fragrance is an elegant and respectful sweet boozy gourmand.

Terry's Chocolate Orange + cinnamon and tonka 🤤 So beautiful and so delicious! This is the ultimate Christmas scent , as cinnamon really is the main star in my opinion. It smells edible but not overly sweet, it's airy and soft. 100% unisex. I much prefer this to "Angels' Share"! Mine is from 2023, and the projection and longevity is moderate. I don't mind over spraying and reapplying though, and even though I'm tempted to get the new "Intense" version I will not... I repeat I must not 😬

I dislike Angels Share quite a bit as I found it just too strong. Although it smells good I don’t wanna smell like I just smeared a cinnamon apple pie all over me. It just chokes me out and makes me nauseous. Sand Desert at Sunset on the other hand has the same scent just toned down to where it’s actually comforting and warm and soothing to wear. So if you find Angels Share just too much in your face try this one out. Zara is pretty damn good at the dupe game I must say.

I'd say it's a more subtle, subdued, discreet version of Angels Share with a twist. I can definitely sense a chocolate covered orange and the iris note and it completely lacks the boozy brandy/cognac apple pie the original has, but they are definitely cousins. If AS is perfectly unisex, this one I find to be just a tad more on the male side, especially in the dry down. Performance isn't too bad either, for the price. Personally really loving it.

I went to the Zara store to try this only because of the reviews and when i sprayed it i felt like eww what is this it's way too strong and arabesque and i was really disappointed. I left the store and driving back home i noticed a heavenly scent in my nose and when i smelled my cardigan i couldn't believe it was actually this perfume. The drydown is whole another level. It's absolutely gorgeous props to perfumer and zara for this!

Amazing parfume for low budget, like oh my god... firstly i can smell a beautiful orange with this little and smooth smell of incense that is slowly becoming the smell of orange chocolate, perfect for autumn, winter and spring. I have already gotten some compliments, in my opinion this is parfume for men and for woman perfect for everyone. Longevity (on my skin)- eternal Sillage- strong Gender- unisex Price- great value

The perfumer is Benoist Lapouza, the author of Killian’s ‘Angel’s Share’, and Granado’s ‘Fervo Intenso’. The similarities are apparent, especially regarding the latter. If you are like me, you come for the experience of wearing the scent and don’t mind saving a lot of money, don’t think twice. Sweet, comforting, slightly audacious and very gourmand. Your fraghead friends will not notice the difference. You’re welcome.

This is not Angel Share, to me it’s more TF’s Tobacco Vanille (or Zara’s Rich Warm Addictive) but with a cinnamon orange opening. Then a spicy smoke comes in and left with a cloud of warm mashmallowy tonka and a hint of chocolate and oriental florals. I love this, much better than RWA, smells expensive. I can only get hold of the small bottle at my local. Must order the big one, perfect for the wet cold August.

If I close my eyes, without knowing what perfume I have just sprayed, the first notes that come to mind are deep baby powder with spices. Very weak but lovely. It is a beautiful and aethereal scent, not cloying at all, but short lived on my wrists. I haven't smelt Angel Share, but when the drydown comes to surface, the casual whiffs I get from this remind me of no other than Cashmere Mist by Donna Karan.

Blindly bought this one because of the hype around it :) Bright cinnamon blended with a rich balsamic vanilla type of sweetness and some subtle aromatic notes (licorice freshness). Honestly, it’s super good. I don’t have Angels share (even though I want it), but now I don’t know if it worth spending that much money on 50ml of AS juice, when I have this one..) After I’d tested this, it was out of stock for a bit but finally bought two bottles of this ambery little gem. Zara’s really been stepping up their fragrance game. Side note: How unfortunate they’ve managed to botch the perfumer’s name on the bottle (his name is Benoist, not Benoit). The company managed to spell it correctly on the perfume’s box but not the bottle itself. :/

I have the glass bottle version of this. The opening the first couple of times was too cloying and annoying with orange. Very sweet. Over time this fades away quicker and you get to the most amazing part of the fragrance. The dry down is 100 percent identical to angel’s share, other than that i think its very different. Many compliments on this one tho, approved.

Nice budget alternative to Angel's Share or even Oajan. Although the scents aren't all the same, if you like one, you're most likely going to enjoy the other two as well. Longevity ain't great and the sillage is just ok, but that's nothing new with Zara fragrances. With the price tag you can simply overspray and/or respray a couple times every day.

I absolutely agree with @Kinzie31. This is in fact, the only Zara fragrance that I loved so much that I’ve ever bought a backup bottle. Angels’ Share EDT would be an apt description, the longevity is great yet it has a light airy feel that is a nice alternative to the very syrupy sweet Angels’ Share. 5/5 and definitely worth buying blindly.

Love this, and I prefer it over Angels Share. By the same perfumer too which is why the blend is still really good. It’s like he toned down the booze in this, amped up the tonka and added chocolate. The chocolate stands out to me as it was one note I was detecting but didn’t know it was listed till I read the official note break down. 9/10

This is 100x better than Angel Share and I'm not even kidding. This is much more wearable IMO cuz it doesn't have the foul syrup booze candy notes that AS has. Knowing this is both made by the same perfumer, im surprised this isn't what AS smells like. This should have the hefty price tag and not the other one. Its a win for us.

This one is really great for $50, It does not last long which is a shame and does not seem to project to far. Its still good smells really nice, I had to spray it 3 times within a 2 hour time span. Zara has been pretty good at least the ones I have. Overall its a great smelling, nots so long lasting and projecting good perfume.

I bought this for my boyfriend and I love it on him but I also find myself reaching for it again and again, ugh, it is GORGEOUS! It's deep, rich, sexy and intoxicating. Being an introvert, I almost feel uncomfortable going out smelling like this, I feel like it attracts too much attention (in a good way but still).

Beautiful scent for colder weather, not overly sweet, just the right amount of all the notes - chocolate, orange, some Christmas spices. It's a little powdery, creamy and milky too. Well blended, sophisticated, inoffensive perfume, pleasure to wear, calming, warm and relaxing. Recommended, specially for the price!
