Shades Of Lust

Just bought this fragrance a few days ago and I have to share my first impression knowing how fast a good fragrance at Zara flies of the shelves. I have the original Valaya from Parfums de Marly and once I got home I hade this scent memory that Shades of Lust reminded my of a fragrance at home. Shades of Lust shares many similarities with Valaya, it is not the same but if you like Valaya you will love this one for the price point and similarity. I definitely get the peach and orange blossom note and the longevity is great on this Zara perfume, at least 7 hours on my skin and longer on clothes. Recommend to try this one.

Lovely perfume, bright peach and musky flowers. It’s sweeter than Valaya, but they are a bit similar. This is not as long lasting.

The first time I sprayed this I did not like it that much but now, after a few months, WOW! I like it quite a lot. I find the peach a bit sharp, even boozy and it is most likely the combo with orange blossom but at the same time it is also refreshing. Today it is quite warm 25+ and the sillage is amazing with just 2 sprays I can feel it very well and it is not cloying sweet or too heavy, which I was expecting at the beginning, but no, it is a great fragrance for hot weather if you want a sharp, refreshing and slightly sweet fragrance that is also not just light and fruity, as it has quite the body but not overwhelming. Another good thing is that this sharpness does not feel synthetic and my nose does not feel offended like it has been with some other scents that have a sharp note. It kind of even reminds me iris for some reason, I guess due to the slightly powdery, slightly sweet sharpness. Update: It is not so sharp anymore, mostly a sweet fruity floral.

I really like this one. Someone suggested that shades of joy smells like chloe lumineuse, but I think it is this one, shades of lust. Or someone in zara mixed the tester bottles I received. :D However, I like this and it lasts really long, at least half a day.

Warm and sweet, All note branded well. In the end it will be heavy musk scent. I really like it but for some people it can be cloying so not a safe blind buy. Only by the 2spray lasted all day on me, 8am to midnight (16 hours ). Sillage was average.
