Sport 6.0

I have the complete Zara Heritage collection (Classic, Sport and Extreme) and i will review them all here on Fragrantica. This one smells suprisingly oke. It is what it says it is. A sporty edition of the normal 6.0 (or the Night pour Homme III) It is pleasant and inoffensive. But nothing groundbreaking. It doesn't do anything special. I can recommend this for a teenager who is searching for 1 cheap fragrance to have for spring and summer. But if you have a collection. This one you are going to forget. Overall i give this a 6 out of 10.

If you told me this is a 5.0 baby brother I'd believe you. They have quite similar DNA. Not at all unpleasant, and to be honest: I like this one the best of the three 6.0 fragrances. Invigorating and fresh, but a bit too generic to receive high marks. Sport 6.0 opens next to a sports field with a mild injury: There is an unmistakeable medicinal quality to the top notes. But flowers present themselves quickly after that, so all aches and pains are forgotten quickly. I can't distinguish if it's the iris per se, but it's a nice bouquet nonetheless. Compared to the classics Sport develops a fresh apple note. It's definitely not pear, or at least not a pear that I've ever eaten. It's not overly sweet and the bergamot's sparkling citrus notes helps to keep this flanker refreshing. Someone didn't forget to bring the bitter bergamot peel as well as the juice which keeps everything tied together nicely. Here and there the powdery iris returns and makes way for a rosemary-ginger-bergamot-peel base note. Expect to smell more of this when you start working out and sweating. Again the Sports flanker surprises me! It doesn't particularly fit in between the two other 6.0 fragrances, but remains a nice refreshing mix of smells. I could see this on a young man, but older sporty fellow as well.
