Sunrise Rose

to me it is a very nice dupe of Un Jardin Sur Le Nil (Hermès). I bought it blind from Zara online shop hoping it really smells like Yellow Diamond I love. I sprayed and waited and waited and waited. The citrusy and herbal smell didn't remind me of Yellow Diamond at all. But with all his power brought Un Jardin Sur Le Nil to my mind. I had a bottle of Un Jardin Sur Le Nil few years ago but to me it was to intense to wear it. Sunrise Rose is subtle and beautiful. I will really enjoy this little mistake.

The notes in this must be wrong. I smelled it yesterday in Zara store (here in Finland it`s discounted, not a new fragrance). It`s very fresh rose in the style of Paul Smith Rose. Very delicate and pretty and suitable for spring and summer, but it does`t last at all. I sprayed it on a mall (with a thought that I want to see how it develops and maybe buying it later), but after hanging around in the mall for 2 hours I could`t smell it at all. So, nice smell, but more like a body spray quality.

It took me an evening to come to the conclusion that the dry-down of Sunrise Rose reminds me of Versace Yellow Diamond. Same woodsy-musky dry-down! And same lemony undercurrents too. To some extent, it could also recall Boss Ma Vie, but anyway... This is a floral perfume, rose is dominant in the opening so the listed notes are possibly incomplete. A fresh, clean & soapy perfume very much in line with the standards of Zara.

It smells like the chemicals that og Delina is stuffed with. I have Delina’s hair mist, which is potent enough to project the original Delina scent. Sunrise Rose I use on my skin and clothes. It keeps its supporting role without altering Delina’s scent. In fact this offering bares the closest resemblance that I’ve come across, from the many Delina’s alternatives that I tested (some I own).

I love this scent, started with rose in the garden of a palace and then turn into dried rose. When it dried down it’s lovely on my skin soft and mild, but very poor longevity :( even I sprayed 10 times.

All I smell is ROSE here..Can't believe some people can't smell it. That is the only note I can smell..LOL..It does not last long though..That's a shame.

Again....ROSE in the name without ROSE in the notes...Isn't it strange?
