Supreme Vanilla

I tried all of the Zara Vanillas on skin for several hours. The testers I used had been out for a while, except for the Supreme vanilla which had just been opened before me, so that could have influenced my preference and final purchase (see explanation after the fragrance review). Of the Zara Vanillas, I was most pleased by Supreme Vanilla. It does have that "ink" note that I feel smells more like papyrus (think old library book that you open and breathe in) which I felt came on a little too strong initally from the tester, but it is perfectly balanced with the vanilla in my purchased bottle. The vanilla here smells most like a classic, slightly powdery, vanilla and takes the stage really well compared to the vanilla in the other Zara vanillas that was subordinate to other scent elements. The fragrance is comforting, soft and the vanilla is perfectly blended with the ink note. You might get a papyrus note based on the ink note blending with dry (not fresh) cedar, which is like a paper scroll. It does not project with 1 or 2 spritzes and I find to be a wonderful personal scent for times when I want to stay at home and read or get some work done without being distracted by scent. Instead of being distracted or getting a headache, I get beautiful whiffs of a comforting vanilla. A real love! Supreme Vanilla can be worn anywhere, anytime and is not so thick that it can't be worn in the summer heat. I feel when worn with fewer spritzes, it can be fine for office or clinical settings as vanilla and old paper are pretty non-offensive scents. Based on my wear test of all 4 Zara vanillas, this was my favorite and I purchased a bottle. Now that I've worn it at home without any other scent clashing, I have ordered a second bottle as I needed soft light scents for daily wear. A quick guide on the other vanillas if you are wondering: Vanilla Vibrations is my second choice but the cardamom note in the tester was too strong, making it too spicy and overshadowing the other notes, especially the vanilla. Hypnotic Vanilla was very easy to love due to its warm vanilla and caramel, and would be the easiest blind buy if gifting, but since I have Hypnotic Poison it was very familiar and not worth getting when I have the scent profile. Starlight Vanilla was the one that I didn't like, which really surprised me as I enjoy the listed vanilla-almond combination, but I found it to be too sharp in some way, and also, it disappeared when compared to the 3 other Vanilllas. N.B. Listed notes don't always conform to reality when it comes to Zara fragrances. My experience of testing the scents reminded me of some things that I thought I might share as they might be influencing your fragrance testing and selecting experiences. The following is not part of the fragrance review. 1) Testers have been sitting out, often under heat and lights, for weeks or months, so some of the more delicate scent notes, such as citruses, and even heavier elements, such as oils, may have turned, or at least changed, compared to what you'll get from a fresh bottle, that you are likely to better protect over the course of its lifetime. So be open to your new bottle smelling better, and usually brighter. 2) Testers often don't have caps so the scent in the straw, which is what you'll be spraying on yourself, may be a little more exposed to oxygen, which also oxidizes certain natural ingredients in the scent. 3) Testers will be less than 100% full or even down to the last few milliliters, meaning that oxygen has filled the bottle to a certain extent and oxidized the juice in the bottle, thereby affecting the more fragile scent ingredients. Once again, be open to your new bottle smelling better, and usually brighter. 4) You'll need to try scents for a full wear (i.e. keep it on for several hours to a day) to be able to get a real sense of how it evolves and how you find each phase of it. Some can have really catchy top notes but mid and base notes that aren't that inspiring or that you already have in your collection. 5) Your perception of scents you try will be affected by any fragrance in your base layer of body lotion, foods you ate that day that may be on your breath or tongue (this includes gum), time in your monthly cycle, time of the day and how many scents your nose has been exposed to already that day, if you have a cold, if you are taking any medication, etc. So if you are springing for an expensive fragrance, it may be well worth your while to give it several tries on different days to make sure you love it under many conditions. 6) Scents lie and project differently on a blotter, vs. on your skin, vs. on your clothes. Some may smell better on one surface vs. another. Try them on all surfaces to find the one that you like best. 7) Try to not wear any scented products if possible on the day you test a new scent so your nose and olfactive brain get the purest version of the new fragrance you are trying. 8) When you try multiple fragrances at a time, your olfactive brain, and your nose, get attracted to and notice the more powerful elements or accords in a scent, as the weaker or softer ones may disappear due to competing strong elements in another scent you are testing at the same time. This may make a real gem not stand out when compared with something with stronger natural ingredients or stronger aromachemicals. 9) Your nose and olfactive brain get tired out when trying different scents, so trying a few in the morning and a few in the afternoon could be better than all in one shot. 10) Some of the modern aromachemicals can sit inside your nose, so you smell them even after they are no longer that present on your skin, giving the impression of being everlasting. Although, truth be told, most modern fragrances are using aromachemicals that do indeed heighten duration and projection. So, some tips for when you go fragrance shopping: Try to wear as little competing fragrance that day. Try to keep the same day tests to a minimal number if you can. Try fragrances on skin as well as on clothes. Try to give your nose and brain a short break between smelling each different scent. Try to spray them on parts of you that are far apart so you don't get a whiff of one as you breathe in another. Give yourself time to decide how much you like a fragrance. And the most important tip, have fun! Buying a fragrance is partaking in a luxury that many around the world cannot hope to experience. Enjoy this luxurious experience and moment of girly fun!

Niche Dark Academia Perfection!!!! Imagine being in the most beautiful old, dusty library reading a book that smells of paper and ink, the place is full of wooden tables and bookcases and you have fresh vanilla biscuits with you, but you also want to seduce the hot, broody librarian. This is how this perfume smells. Zara perfumes are generally good, especially for their prices but this one is by far my favorite. It is so niche It is a warm dry woody sweet vanilla perfume at its core, everything else is to add more character and OMG they do that. The second most prominent note is by far the ink on me. In a lot of reviews, I saw people describe the smell as "wet ashtray" and even though I understand where this is coming from and it's not exactly inaccurate, I LOVE IT. I don't know how to explain it, but the smell is almost comforting, even though it has a musty/smokey quality the ink smells exactly like an ink pad my grandfather had and along with the tonka beans gives a kick that I find so good. It is a mysterious, sophisticated, SEXY AS HELL, dark vanilla and I love an interesting vanilla. The cedarwood and the sugar are supporting roles here, I cannot identify that is cedar I smell but with time, along with the powdery vanilla, there is an aromatic woodiness that lingers on my skin and the sugar adds sweetness all around. This is a juggernaut as far as longevity goes and even more, as sillage goes. This thing smells A LOT, and for days on my clothes, but it isn't clogging at all. To explain how impressed I am with it, I was wearing it in a bar I go to quite often and the place is very small, more often than not extremely crowded, and people can smoke inside, and I still got questions on what perfume I wear because those around me could smell it, something that is not a thing in that place. Something that I also didn't expect (bc the reviews I had read were a mixed bag) is how much of a people's pleaser it is, especially men. Every time I wear it I get questions on what I wear, bc they like it yes, but also bc they want to get it, so at least the people around me find it as unisex as they come, something that I also agree with. I can see everyone wearing it of whatever age and even all day, just not as much in summer. I purchased it in early March, and I just stopped wearing it as much now, in warm weather it can become slightly overwhelming.

something that smells like a smoky s&m darkroom located in the damp coal storage of an old building? FROM A MAINSTREAM PERFUMER? OKAY DIVA! this is frankly a new fave. you’re telling me that I can smell like an old tome that came alive and started doing a burlesque number? and it’s from Zara? of all places? this on my skin hits me with the musty ink note RIGHT away. it reads like black orchid almost where it just smells like earth, but without the patchouli that’s giving my nose backshots. it’s more of an earthy dusty magical book kind of smell, but it also reads of body odor ashtray which is kind of glam to me. lurking behind it and waiting to pounce is the vanilla-y sugar cube note. there’s something sweet lurking behind the earthy ink always that makes it less of a coughing fit trigger and elevates it into something more... glam. it reminds me of a crème brûlée at times, but when it hits the vanilla time mark and the ink demons have been fought and won over, it really is such an earthy sweet vanilla that’s both powdery and woody. it almost reminds me of like aquolina pink sugar’s older sister or korres black sugar’s mother. it continues onto the drydown and frankly I wake up smelling like a roasted vanilla so that’s a plus. much like a lot of the Zara Collection Heavy Bottle 25 Euro Luxe Looking Paperweights perfumes, the longevity is rather wild. I sprayed this one afternoon, slept, woke up at lunchtime and it was still there lurking. initial projection is big and bold, but turns into a soft bubble of a toasty vanilla. my verdict? new favorite. I love when Zara turns it out it’s like seeing a dog successfully walk on its hind legs like a model. ps. Zara if you discontinue this I WILL jump you!!!

This is probably the best vanilla I've smelled! I am absolutely in love with the perfume and I can't believe it's so cheap ( not that I complain, lol) I ordered the 30ml bottle, as I was a bit scared, based on the reviews I read, but I fell in love immediately I sprayed on my arm! It's sweet, but not sickly sweet. It's dark vanilla, maybe because of the ink note, though I hardly smell any ink. For maybe 5 minutes I smell vanilla and something earthy, like soil or something, but it's not necessarily bad. And then comes my favourite! Burnt sugar. It smells so sweet, so good and tasty it makes me want to drink the perfume. Easily my favorite, I'm ordering another 2-3 bottles before Zara discontinues it 😀. Maybe it depends on the skin chemistry or it's different batches and I got lucky, but I don't get any old man, ashtray, cigarettes yada yada smell. I don't find it unisex either, tho. It reminds me a lot of a car/home air freshener byu Areon - vanilla black. I love that smell and Supreme Vanilla reminds me somewhat of that air freshener. And it projects good too. I'll give 7/10 for longevity on skin and projection.

Smelt this in Zara last week after hearing rave reviews on their fragrances. Went in and got overwhelmed by the array of perfumes being sprayed around me (unsure why Zara don't have paper testers to spray on like most shops selling perfumes do) so I didn't purchase any as they all smelt very sharp and similar. Then, upon smelling my wrist, was taken aback by how stunning one fragrance was when it had dried down. Couldn't for the life of me figure out what one it was as I had tried four on me but was desperate to get my hands on it - never in my life have I felt such an urge to buy one fragrance. Went back in today, sprayed two on me (Rose Gourmand and this one) and finally, finally! found it! To me, this dries down like a sugary, warm rosy fragrance. Don't yet understand how I get rose but I suppose it's the cedar? It smells very luxury, like a mature vanilla that's a big leap from my previous favorite perfume, Ari by Ariana Grande. I adore powdery scents, anything vanilla and rose and so, for me, this is the perfect scent. I do hope they don't discontinue this line as I'd be lost without it.

This is an interesting vanilla, that I didnt expect to find at Zara. I got this one and Vanilla Immortal. They are very different and this one ended up being my favorite (do like Immortal aswell tho). This is a vanilla that feels like its grown in the middle for the woods. A gritty, slightly dirty vanilla that develops into a sweet comforting cloud that surrounds you - like a soil covered seed turning into a flower 🌱 I think its the combination of the ink with the cedar wood that makes people get a "cigarette" note in the beginning. To me, this note is more of a dirty earthy note, like wet earth after a rain. And it is this note that makes this perfume truly interesting and unique, what saves it from the Generic Sweet Girly Vanilla.The gritty note is prevalent only in the beginning, the in develops into a woody sweet vanilla where the gritty note is only in the background in more of a cedar wood form. Definitely unisex! Ive stocked up on this one, as Zara seem to constantly change their perfume line.

i fell in love with this perfume. i bought this off vinted for 8€, and when i first smelled this i was very surprised. the vanilla is not the main character here, the ink note is. its prominent, from the first time you spray it all the way to the drydown. its a note that you either hate or love; the interesting thing is how everyone seems to perceive it differently. i saw someone saying it reminds them of the woods, a girl on tiktok said it smelled like used hunter boots to her - to me, it smells like a vintage boutique. used clothes & books & vinyls & random object. something with a past that you'll never know. and it gets very complimented from the cedarwood! all this, is enveloped in a cloud of whipped vanilla and brown sugar. the sweet side of this fragrance is deep, yet still airy (the same sugary type of airy you find in bianco latte, too). this pairs really well with eilish n.1, qimmah/good girl, kayali 28 and bianco latte. can't believe i'd find my favorite vanilla at zara, smh.

You just started writing one day and forgot to show anyone, so now it's spiraled into late nights studying your muse, and a sequence of strange occurrences. You write down yet another detail, that turns into another poem, that turns into your hands being stained with ink and the hours passing by unnoticeably. And, all your muse knows is that their immortality has been secured. It is nearly unseen, but it is secured, the poet and the muse, eternally. (TL;DR: sad gothic poet vibes. that's it. maybe with a kind of slight skin accord in a weird, not quite normal way. amazing. this is so me. 16/10.) (update: repackaged this to gatekeep it👀)

I love it! Have 4 backups since I know they will be gone sooner or later. One of my favorite Zara scents. I appreciate that it actually smells like an grownup vanilla and not too juvenile. It’s smells like an earthy deep gourmand vanilla. Quite similar to Billie Eilish, but that one doesn’t have the dirty, earthy quality and is also a notch sweeter. The majority who dislike this comments on the ink (smoke) and I fully understand if that doesn't appeal to everyone. But I find that it makes it more interesting and mysterious or else it would be just another boring tonkabean sugary vanilla. The ink slowly fades in the drydown. Luckily I do not get the burnt tire/rubber at all like other reviewers. Do not go on first impressions by smelling it from the first second you spray it on. Let it settle on your skin a few minutes before making up your mind. Such a bargain. Longlasting, great sillage and projection!

SOOOO SAD they aren't selling this anymore- this was my favorite perfume, and at such a good price point! I have yet to find another vanilla like this. This was such an interesting, true bourbon-y vanilla scent. Not cloyingly sweet or childish, but complex, sexy, mature, almost like tobacco. I wore this perfume and had 2 friends ask what I wore and buy bottles for themselves. I am an artist, and I LOVE the unique ink accord in this. Out of all my perfumes, this was the one that got me the most compliments. If you like true vanilla scents, something a little more complex and femme-fatal, this is the scent. This is the kind of scent that has you going back to sniff your wrist every little while. I was so sad when my nose got used to it. I am praying they bring this scent back. In the meantime, I'm rationing what I have left of my bottle!

This fragrance is an absolute 10 out of 10 for me and it's probably the best fragrance Zara has ever produced. Do you want duration? It lasts almost a whole day. Do you want an interesting smell? It has the original ink note that gives a more seductive and deep view to the fragrance. Do you want a good price? 30 ml makes 12 euros. It doesn't necessarily mimic any other fragrance like its other siblings in Zara's vanilla line, but it's definitely the best of all. Zara offers you a sexy fragrance with duration, depth, reminiscent of a niche situation. For a tragically cheap price!! I think it's every person's dream. And believe me, among the others in the vanilla line, it is the one that does not smell synthetic at all once dried. Amazing. One of the sexiest and cheapest perfumes out there.

What a strange fragrance. I’ve been debating buying this for so long, because I needed a good vanilla forward perfume (the word need is used liberally here) and this one was not only vanilla forward but also veryyyy interesting. I tested it multiple times, and that inky note has been so interesting... so yeah, I bit the bullet today, and for its price, you really do get a beautiful fragrance that has more personality than just a sweetness overload. The inky wood adds a hollow, sort of round dimension to the scent, and the vanilla floats on top of it. Imagine a black, translucent bubble with a creamy substance sliding across it as if nearly sentient. When the bubble pops, you get a dusty, woody sort of sensation that still feels thick and sweet. I am glad I got it.

Shockingly gorgeous. I own lots of different vanillas but this is a favourite. I layer it under many other perfumes. For me it’s one of the most vanilla ice cream vanillas I have ever smelt. Given the size of my collection it’s insane that this £12.99 find is such a favourite - I almost don’t want it to be. Regarding the comparison with Black Opium Le Parfum - it doesn’t seem that close to me. There is no coffee note or slightly booze note I get from Black Opium Le Parfum or the patchouli which gives the grown up edge to the multitude of vanillas present in Black Opium Le Parfum. The Zara is smoother, sweeter and creamy toffee gooey to me on a big vanilla sundae🍦🍦🍨🍨 I just bought the largest size available so I can spray it literally everywhere 😊😊😊😊

I feel this is the best of the Vanilla Series from Zara, I wear it almost everyday since I started using it. It smells like vanilla and roasted corn and doesn't give me a headache, unlike the Starlight Vanilla does. I top it over vanilla mist by Body Shop and none of them two lasts more then 20 mins or half hour, so I tend to overspray it again and again just because I love the smell. Thank God it is cheap and I can re-buy, as the first bottle is almost over in about a month. I don't smell anything weird or fecal, it is what it is in my skin. Also, on my skin it smells almost similar to By The Fireplace by Maison Margiela, but when you grill corn rather than marshmallows by that fireplace. If you like it, buy the big bottle.

I ordered the 30 ml size and it’s safe to say I’m sizing up. On my skin, the vanilla is rich, fragrant, deep, intoxicating, and syrupy. The ink note provides a scent that is reminiscent of calligraphy ink. The cedar note is not necessarily a fresh cut cedar scent, but more reminiscent of something carved from cedar and varnished. Deeply aromatic. There is an underlying scent that reminds me of a once lit cigarette butt, the smoke lingering in the air. I love love love this fragrance. The fragrance created a nice skin bubble and lasted for 8 hours on my skin. I could faintly smell the woody vanilla on skin after waking up. I will be sizing up and buying a spare just in case Zara discontinues this fragrance.

I blind-bought a few of Zara’s perfumes and holy crap, this one is a hit. It smacks you in the face with that earthy, dank & musty ink accord, which I grew to love over time, and dries down into this beautiful sugary woody scent. It almost smells kinda smokey, it’s very sexy to me. It doesn’t stay on my skin as long as I would like, but it does cling onto my clothes. Pretty big scent bubble, too. Definitely not a safe blind buy, but I happen to have lucked out. edit; I respectfully have to disagree with @Vanillamuscdream, this does NOT smell like BO le parfum. BO le parfum is very pear, coffee & vanilla forward. Aside from both of them having vanilla notes I don’t smell much of a resemblance.

Everytime i smelt this i've thought that it smelled like sugar and something familiar that i couldn't put my figer on and then BAM it hit me : grilled corn ! This smells like sugared grilled corn this is how i would describe it. I know it sounds weird but i find this perfume very nice i don't know why it's been getting so much hate. It's a perfume version of bare vanilla by Victoria's secret with smokiness and depth. This is the best one out of the vanilla collection in my opinion and therefore a very good zara perfume perfect for winter. And i find the fact that it smells like sugared grilled corn very original, i don't know many perfumes that can make you think of grilled corns.

a very pretty soft tonka wood scent. the image it evokes is a feminine take on a masculine concept, like a woman in a men's smoking room or wearing her fathers old sweater. definitely not a strong smell like some others with a similar profile, dry down is an intimate skin scent with not too great longevity. at least it's not expensive so you can spray with abandon. the dry down is tonka and vanilla almost all the way through, i can't pick up too much on the ink to be honest. there is a tiny hint of sugar but in a very subtle and pretty way - not "sugary" sweet more like a warm vanilla extract kind of sweet that is sooooo lovely. literally so beautiful i love this

This fragrance is one of my favourites from Zara, and is a lovely scent. It's sweet and powdery, the pink sugar notes are there and it's a cosy comforting vanilla that isn't intense or overpowering. I mostly layer it with another fragrance, as by itself it is not long lasting, but it's an affordable option and easy to carry in a handbag or purse when I'm out and about, so I can re-apply it whenever needed. I've actually run out of this and am planning on repurchasing it soon, and I'd definitely recommend this for anyone who is a fan of vanilla and is looking for a soft, feminine, girl-next-door kind of fragrance.

A beautiful deep vanilla. Super sweet! It smells JUST like Phlur’s Vanilla Skin and has similar lasting power. Vanilla Skin is cheaper per ML than Supreme Vanilla so I’ll be sticking with Phlur, but if you already have one of the two, there’s no need for the other! Has moderate sillage and lasts about 5 hours. In terms of perfumes listed as similar— ❌✔️ Maison Margiela By the Fireplace: not similar until its smokiness wears off ❌ BBW Vanilla Romance: smokier ❌ Kayali Vanilla 28: has a distinct floral scent on me ❌ Snif Heal the Way: nutty, lighter, and much less sweet ❌ The 7 Virtues Vanilla Woods: quite fruity

Inky vanilla with a little bit of woodiness. To me the ink keeps this from being too gourmand and heavy and overly sweet, since it brings a weird coolness (temperature-wise, but I mean ink is also a cool note :'D) to the fragrance. I really like the ink note, since it makes this different, but it also makes it a bit more.. occasional? So maybe not an easy reach vanilla for some because of that. Surprisingly long lasting for a zara frag! (I know there are a few good performers, but most of the time I'm skeptical.) I layer this with Encre Noire sometimes, because I feel like they have the same inky note.

This smells like a flanker of TF tobacco vanile, only much less intense in every way in addition to substituting tobacco with straight up smoke. On the initial impression this is a unisex fragrance leaning masculine, so i would not recommend blind buying, it smells somewhat of burnt cookies, sugar is present as well as vanilla, i don't get the gender votes, i wore less masculine fragrances then this that were pour homme. The scent is something like smoke at the center surrounded by vanilla and sugar. I wouldn't feel weird wearing it,even though I'm a guy. Starlight vanilla is much more feminine.

I have never loved a perfume as much as I love this one! Such a lovely sexy Vanilla. Projects well and lasts pretty well for the price! I have already gone through 2 30 ml and I had to get the biggest size they had, which was an 80 ml. I don’t understand why people hate it. I think the ink note turns a lot of people off, but honestly, the ink note pairs well with all the other notes and I will always love this perfume! I get ton of compliments everytime I wear it. if you want a good gourmand, yet dark gourmand vanilla, look no further than Zara’s Supreme Vanilla!

An instant love for me. Sprayed it out of curiosity, and 1 hour later I HAD TO return to the store to buy it. If you like the smell of burnt wood, old books, and incense, you will like this one. It opens smokey and the drydown smells like Papier d'Armenie on my skin. Calm, relaxing, and mysterious. Though I found other perfumes with a similar scent profile, there is something floral/fresh (maybe it's the ink?) in it that makes it special. The performance is great, too. It projects well and I can still smell it clearly on my skin after 7 hours.

I LOVE THIS PERFUME!!! It's so affordable for what it brings to the table, at first when i spray it i sense intense ink smell mixed with the sugar, it reminds me of a cold winter, its a cold smell if this is the right way to express it, after some time it becomes a sweet vanilla and the smell isn't synthetic at all. It is strong until the 6 hour when it becomes lighter smell but still can sense it if i sniff my hand where i sprayed it. I recommend it, it's really good if you want a classy, elegant and mysterious sweet perfume.

i got to try this in store today and it's absolutely gorgeous. i heard a lot of people complaining about the ink note so i was a little nervous, but it's a gorgeous, deep, creamy vanilla scent. the ink is definitely there but it's lovely and it reminds me of using those japanese calligraphy ink sticks--it keeps the scent from being too basic or cloying, and just gives it extra depth and nuance. it's not a super loud scent but it lasts very well and for the price, it's such a steal. absolutely gorgeous.

Nooo i can't believe they discontinued this gem 😭 This was the best Zara perfume it smelled so good and expensive. I bought it 3 times and i rarely buy a frangrance more than once, i should've bought back ups when i could. I really hope Zara brings this back in an other bottle with an other name like they often do. If anyone goes to Zara and smells a new fragrance that smells like this please don't hesitate to come tell us here in the comments and give us Zara random discontinuation victims some hope

love, love, loveee this scent from the newly released “vanilla” lineup. i can pickup the ink stench very well and i am quite obsessed how it sits on my skin. the smokiness and the gourmand just makes this scent unique but very wearable for a sweet scent lover like me. the initial spritz could feel a little bit too inky and smoky but after some time blending into your skin, the sugary and tonka notes makes me want to sniff my skin all day long. ah! many compliments were gained when im wearing this!

I love this. It's soft, sweet, feminine. Just wonderful. I like the ink not more than the harsh smoke note that's in many vanilla fragrances. They linger, the ink note does not. It disappears after a few minutes, and I'm left with the soft vanilla scent with a little hint if masculinity. I layer this over Prada Candy, and they complement each other beautifully. Not too sweet. Sweet scents mellows out on my skin, and never turn into something nauseating.

I absolutely love this one. I was worried about the ink note, and when I first received the bottle I thought I had made a huge mistake. The ink note was SO strong. But after letting the bottle settle, now it's much more subtle. The smoky-chemically ink note balances the sweetness of the vanilla and sugar, and makes a 35 dollar Zara frag feel niche and edgy. I've been wearing it all winter. I might even wear it into early spring - it's so good.

I adore this perfume but it’s definitely not a crowd pleaser due to the ink note, which has been described to me while wearing this as “a smell that’s pretty for a seconds and then turns into that of an old couch in the smoking section that has been sit on by many people and is currently wet.” And I can definitely see the resemblance, though if someone doesn’t have this certain association it is just old money vibes

I didn't expect to enjoy this as much as I did, it was just a random try in Zara the other day. It starts off almost smoky, but extremely vanilla forward. Overtime it becomes softer, warmer, a little sweeter and creamier. To me it smells exactly like the fresh cream warm cashmere body wash. Absolutely beautiful, amazing for warm evenings, colder days and layering. I can't stop thinking about it.

If you like kayali vanilla 28 you'll likely like this too, if u want a vanilla that has some depth to it that is... this is so long lasting, it lasts on clothing till its washed. It's amazing for layering just like kayali 28 but doesn't smell cheap at all like some vanillas (think vs) I'm on my 3rd bottle my favorite layering combo so far with this definately oud ispahan and oud rosewood 🤩

Imagine drawing with a sharpie sitting on a log drinking a vanilla latte. It’s a little harsh in the beginning, like synthetic, but also really addicting. Notes blend well together. Drydown is the perfect vanilla of being comforting but also sensual, perfect for a night out. Lasts really good on me as well. Maybe if this wasn’t marketed as having ink in it people would feel differently🤷

It's definitely something special and I do love the scent. It's unexpected and unique. However I wouldn't wear it every day. It does smell smokey to me which I like in a way, but then it almost smells a little bit like cigarette smoke - and I'm not a smoker. I don't agree with Zara's description that this is feminine. To me this is a unisex scent if not more masculine leaning.

This scent is sensual and so lovely, it reminds me about The Fantasy Naughty Remix (which is sadly discontinued). At the same time, I got this and Hypnotic Vanilla (also by Zara) and this pleases me more: HV is very nice also though. I can't say about longevity yet, but I'm going to spray this also on my clothes. Other reviewers seem to think it's long lasting, hope so.

Honestly, I purchased this 30ml bottle last week and it's already more than halfway empty. I'm in love with this scent, guys. I want to bathe in it. The longevity is miserable, though, which is why I spray it about every two hours. I wish there was a longer-lasting dupe of this, as it is so incredibly unique, as well as gorgeous and addicting.

Smelled chocolate ice cream on myself whenever i spray this now. And my jacket that has this sprayed on the night before now smells like a man's jacket that i thought i had a boyfriend for a second. Really nice, masculine, dark vanilla ice cream smell, i could not get my nose around it for the first few uses but its now so addictive to me.

I'm honestly surprised this perfume isn't getting the hype it deserves – it's EXACTLY like Vanilla Skin by Phlur (which I just received in the mail), and honestly, I think it's even better than the one from Kayali. For the price, it's unbelievably good. I wore it all winter long. Truly AMAZING – the best vanilla scent out there!

This is the best out of the Zara vanilla fragrances and an excellent dupe for Black Opium’s Le Parfum. It lacks the coffee note but has the same warmth, sweetness and deliciousness to it. Once I finally get my hands Black Opium le parfum, I’ll definitely be getting this as an everyday substitute. It’s absolutely delightful.

This perfume is quite a journey. Here me out: first 10 minutes smell like fecal, but then it smells like burnt wood, but not woody, not amber. Then after 30 minutes this perfume turn into Celine Black Tie with better longevity. Worth for collection but spray it half hour before step out of your home or meet people

This might be my favorite vanilla. I love the ink note that gives the perfume some darkness and spice. It also keeps the fragrance from coming off as too sweet. Would definitely recommend testing the perfume on skin to make sure it sits with you (I tried it 3 or 4x before finally committing to a purchase).

I'm so sad that this fragrance has been discontinued! In my opinion it's the perfect vanilla because it's not basic, and I love the ink note. My bottle was empty, so thankfully I bought another one while it was still available, but now I'll have to use it sparingly because I don't have much left

A dark sexy vanilla. It's has dark academia vibes. Like an old haunted library but there's something sweet and sugary. I disagree with the review below, I find the ink note in this to be very unique! It also has great projection and longevity for me. I really hope Zara brings this back!

A nice dark unisex vanilla that lasts long and projects nicely. My gf said i smell like kinder chocolates and churros wearing it. It's a solid basic pull for a day you just want to smell great and not too complicated. It's a universal fragrance for the colder seasons.

She’s baaaaaack!! And way stronger!? Falling in love all over again, I bought 2 bottles of the new juice. Also in a brown tinted bottle rather than the original black/grey. I smell the ink note even stronger in the rerelease version. Absolutely heavenly.

I need to write yet another review cos I find this scent so damn addictive? It’s like a powerful villain scent and I can see Maleficent wearing this or maybe Storm. Love it! If you want to make it less inky and sweeter, layer with pink sugar or fantasy!

This is lovely! I own a lot of niche fragrances but this one is my favourite, is unique, I honestly don't think it is similar to Vanilla 28 or whatever the people are saying, this is a unique smell, I adore it. I have 5 bottles and use this everyday

I love this scent. Opening is very smoky, like burnt rubber. I did not think I would like it, but I can’t stop smelling my wrists, it is addictive. The dry down is sweet vanilla beans. Also lovely. This perfume is my favourite Zara scent of 2024.
