Tobacco Collection Intense Dark Exclusive

This is one of those scents that really is different on skin. It just becomes one with it forever (or atleast a very long time for me). Like many others i bought this with RWA for about 20 bucks. I did not have any expectation at all on this fragrance and i wasn't really fond of it the first time smelling it. But that has definititely changed. I love it. It is versatile and non offensive. For me this would work most situations except for a hot summer day. I would even argue it isn't really dark or potent enough for those really cold winter evenings. Now lets talk performance. Are you looking to be attention grabbing and radiate aroma through the masses and fill rooms with your smooth, spicy tonka juice? Well then this probably isn't the right one. IDE has very limited projection and it will be a skin scent for a majority of it's lifetime. Longevity however is a whole different thing. On me this lasts for ages. Just today i sprayed it on at about 9 am before school and could still pick it up on the bus home from the gym a good 13 hours later. So although weak in its projection it lure close to your skin like a thick mist for hours on end. In conclusion i would like to say this is a no brainer blind-buy. Extremely cheap and easy to wear for most situations. My only grudge is the slightly harsh opening and questionable projection however the latter isn't a big problem for this type of scent. 10/10 would recommend if u like your smooth tonka fragrances.

After seeing people literally despising the fact that they "had" to get this because of the Tobacco Collection package (along with Rich Warm Addictive), I was really biased when it came to smelling this and I was expecting some sort of bad normie fragrance, but this turned out to be at the same level as Rich Warm Addictive in terms of love, and I'm so glad they were bundled together. This one is a bit more crowdpleasing than Rich Warm Addictive, and it is by far the Zara fragrance that has gotten me the most compliments, along with Tone Indeterminée. Being a dupe of 212 VIP Men I get a very sexy tobacco opening that turns into a citrusy smell, fresh and nice. Really good for the night, really attractive to everyone. Every compliment revolved around the sexiness of the smell. And just to finish things up, I love the name "Intense Dark Exclusive". I mean what a fantastic way to describe it. It is intense, not really dark, but it feels exclusive. 7/10.

This is absolutely Unisex. I am a woman and I really love this. It doesn't smell like your regular designer fragrance though. Instead it smells like a niche fragrance, so if you're into different types of fragrances and a spicy tonka bean perfume sounds interesting to you then you just may love this one too. The fruits in it don't really stand out to me and it isn't too peppery either. It does have a spicy edge though, I imagine from the combo of pepper+mint+basil. It has enough sweetness in it to smell great on a woman (as well as a man). But this is for someone who wants something different and niche-smelling. I don't think it's the most long-lasting but for the price I am ok with that. The scent itself is worth way more than the $25.99 price tag. Very happy with this blind buy.

I found this IDE is a sweet energetic tobacco scent that have a seductive vibe. I might say this fragrance is pretty different from the RWA because its more fresh,masculine,and woody. Harsh opening in first time but after few minute its turns to be a calming sweet tobacco scent. Its just beautiful and not like a cheap fragrance at all. Performance is Pretty well too, i still feel its lingering around me after few hour after i sprayed. i can say its a pretty closer to niche quality fragrance with affordable price (i grab a pack of tobacco collection consist of 2 bottle perfume :IDE & RWA on the zara store with only for $30). If you need closer niche quality fragrance with great bang for your buck go get this one. Scent : 7,5/10 Sillage : 7/10 Longevity : 7,5/10

I normally judge cheap perfumes a bit more kindly than usual for the simple reason that you really can't expect something grand from the USD 15-and-below range. This fragrance (and the other one in the Zara tobacco series) however can stand its ground against the established and expensive names out there. Its longevity and sillage are great and - if you can put your biases against cheap perfumes aside - you'd recognize that this is a pretty amazing fragrance. I don't really mind that it does not seem to have a pronounced tobacco note. The tonka bean and mint/bergamot combine for a deep scent that is dark, sweet and - surprisingly - fresh. You can blind buy this one without hurting your wallet. That's a good bonus.

Zara surprises again! _____________________ From its new Tobacco collection, Intense Dark is a good deal and purchase comparing to its minimum price and other similar stuff in the market which may cost you a fortune! You get a mint and peppery tobacco mixed with Tonka bean popped up out of an strong alcoholic smell that fades away pretty quick. Dark Intense is better to be used in cold seasons and is highly recommended for Tobacco scent collectors. Apple, Musk and Basil play their role definitely to create the scent, but would be difficult to recognize them separately. On my skin and opinion: Scent: 8/10 Bottle design: 9/10 Longevity: 7/10 Projection: 7.5/10 Price: cheap 10*/10 Overall: 8.5/10

I'll do a bit of a comparison between Rich Warm Addictive (RWA) and Intense Dark Exclusive (IDE). As a mid 20s female, I love both of them and find them both quite wearable (although I am a fan of heavy, spicy orientals, so take that how you will). RWA initially smells a bit better on my skin, more warm and inviting, whereas IDE smell peppery and spicy. RWA settles down into a warm, boozy vanilla, although I find the sillage a little lacking, as with IDE. IDE comes on strong and settles down to a rich, spiced, tobacco-esque coffee blendthat is absolutely delicious. Both don't last all too long but, given the price point, I'd say that's quite okay with me.

One day in my childhood, I was at the hairdresser. A man passed me while going out after getting his hair cut, and that's when I smelled this smell. Even though that man didn't have a leather coat, I kept thinking about him, "Why didn't he wear his leather coat?" This smell kept reminding me of people wearing a tan leather coat and blue jeans. I always remembered it this way. You know, songs and scents are unforgettable, and this scent has remained in my mind since those times. I was constantly missing this scent and one day I came across it by chance, but this time I couldn't miss it.

They had both in the store so i tried 3 sprays each arm. This one is the better of the two, so i bought it right away, $20us, no argument from me. Sure, they are both gourmand sweet, as many reviewers have warned, but there are elements in IntenseDark that steer it more in the direction of a mens fragrance, probably the bergamot and apple. The WarmAddictive however might as well be a breakfast cereal for kids. Longev is right up there for a Zara, sillage decent, not too powerful, not weak either. Would def recommend THIS one, and not WarmAddictive.

I love this. I bought it originally for my use but boy do I love smelling this on my husband! I have rich warm and addictive which I actually found a little less interesting so I tried this one out. It's stronger and the projection is great. It leaves an intoxicating trail that I smell in the room long after my husband left the room. It reminds me of Amber oud gold by al harmain which I also have. It's definitely a love for me. I'm going to rock this in the winter evenings.

Bought this today and on my skin this smells like a mix between BOSS Bottled Intense and Versace Eros. If you are into those perfumes, you will really like this. I am enjoying it and I really can't complain for paying 13 euros for a 100ml bottle. For that price, it's really great. Rick Warm Addictive is better, but it's more sweet than this. This one, among the touch of sweetness it has some fresh touches as well. And the performance is really great for what you pay.

Not bad, not bad at all. To my nose it reminds me of dried fruits mixed with the sweet DNA of 1 million for some reason. I remember not liking it so much a while back but the weather then wasn't so cold. Now when I tried it in the cold weather it smelled heavenly! If you are looking for a scent with similarity to 1 million but with a twist, then I highly recommend you to try it out. But be aware - COLD WEATHER SCENT ONLY!

Intense Dark Exclusive is off-putting at first - not very warm and rather harsh. But then something magical happens: it grabs your natural skin chem and creates this magnetic aura around you that is gorgeous. Again, not everyone will get this effect as with all ZARA fragrances, but if you do, you'll love it. And you will have to overspray. 12 minimum for me.

Tested both (from Tobacco Collection) a few days ago and I fell in love with'em. This one, in my opinion, is a darker version of F Black by Ferragamo and leans a little towards Spicebomb. Projects great in the first 3-4h and then lasts closer and closer to the skin up to 10h (maybe more at a skin scent). Great value for 20 Euros per both.

Stop reading reviews... BUY THIS JUICE! These 2 in the tobacco collection from Zara are the best money you will spend! Outlast most anything I own and that consist of over 70 frags... These are both winners...I now own 4 backups for each... You will never make a better blind buy IMO...

Out of this and rich warm addictive THIS IS 100% better! RWA smells like feminine honey and coconut but this is 100% more masculine, I would advise anyone to get this other than RWA

My husband bought this fragrance last month. It is a remarkable fragrance for men with an unbelievable price. It remembers me Dirty English that my husband often uses.

Definitely test it on your skin, as the previous reviewer said. It's a much different (and better) smell than on your clothes or a paper.

It is more of apple and pepper with little tobacco in the background.

Zara Tobacco Collection Intense Dark Exclusive, is a fragrance that intrigued me for some time. I finally got my nose on it back in October when I checked out a Zara (Scottsdale Fashion Square) and smelt it. Sadly I couldn't get it since it was out. So once the American online store added it, I had to get it. It is really nice and unique-ish. I heard a good explanation in a more recent review, F Black meets Spicebomb. I really can see that. The only thing is, I would add in 212 VIP Men, if it is stripped down. Remove the passionfruit, gin, vodka, cavier notes and replace it with tobacco. Though for me, it is a knock albeit a slight one. I typically like Tobacco notes especially if it is more leafy, but in Dark Intense Exclusive, it is a smoky cigarette tobacco. I do think the three notes that are on the 2018's packaging apple, pepper and tonka are heavy in this fragrance too. I think the apple, pepper and tonka notes gives it a slight Ferragamo F feel as does the pepper. The spice and tobbaco gives it a Spicebomb like feel. The spice and sweetness has a virgin 212 VIP Men feel. Tobacco Collection Intense Dark Exclusive is a bit weird usewise. Despite being like 212 VIP Men and Spicebomb it isn't a club scent. Instead I think it is a date scent. IMHO it is a date version of 212 VIP Men for the wife (or husband) you met clubbing in your 20's wearing VIP Men and you have gotten older and wiser in the years since. Projection wise, it was a moderate performer. Longevity is pretty good at about 8 hours on my skin. Overall Zara Tobacco Collection Intense Dark Exclusive is pretty good and I love having it in my collection but it was a slight letdown. I have to say that I rate it a 7.4 out of 10 as it is has a tobacco that I just don't like.

Okay... so... I went into Zara today to try the new oud perfumes. Unfortunately they didn't have them in my local store, not sure why but I decided to try another one that has been released recently. Seeing that it had tobacco in the title I thought I might discover a deep and relatively cheap fragrance of good quality judging by some of the other Zara scents I've tried. However, this fragrance is not dark or masculine in the slightest! Not necessarily a bad thing though, in fact I quite enjoy the smell...momentarily. It starts out with a very sweet, fruity, thick, syrup type texture, which is more of a gourmand thing than tobacco to me. Although playful does have an air of quality to it and I'm usually a sucker for childish, overly saccahrine scents like this but I need to put my sensible reviewers head on in this case. As it dries down it becomes the most candy, cupcake, vanilla fragrance imaginable and where it starts smelling very much like the strawberry shortcake doll of the 70's 80's. I don't know if anyone remembers those? Yeah so kinda, dolls head plastic and a vanilla... strawberry. This does mellow further becoming less sweet and has some subtle woods creeping in but if you're expecting tobacco prepare to be disappointed. It could be there in the very broadest and vaguest terms perhaps more so in the opening? but I'm totally reaching there because I certainly didn't detect it for sure. I like the smell but is this really a great men's fragrance? Not really. I have to say it projects a lot to begin with and is generally a good performer, worth checking out but something which actually began to become cloying and a bit annoying in the end.

A straight up 212 VIP clone, but with better projection and longevity. I honestly don't get the name and bottle design, which I think don't match the vibe of the perfume. Personally would've named this something like Warm-Energetic-Nightlife, as the opening is really energetic with its mint and vodka vibe, topped with a spritz of lemon and sugar syrup. Then soon the warm and sweet tonka takes over (though not as dominant as in Joop! Jump for instance, which has a comparable vibe when it dries down), turning down the volume and warming up the atmosphere. From there the scent is fairly linear, staying closer and closer to the skin as the hours progress. Can't detect any tobacco though, so don't expect similarities to Tobacco Vanilla or (on the other end of the spectrum) CK One Shock. Longevity is impressive, especially at this price point. I can still detect the scent after 6 - 8 hours. For this price (I bought the Tobacco Collection 2x 100 ml package for 18 Euro's), I think Intense-Dark-Exclusive is an absolute steal.

The more hate this gets the more I like it lol. Generic it is not. Better than rich warm addictive or anywhere near as appealing as rwa it is not. Masculine in the way most masculine fragrances tend to be, it ain’t! Dark and slightly seductive with a well blended tobacco, especially for the price. I don’t get a lot of green apple or mint thankfully as I don’t like minty. The problem is not that it doesn’t project or the sillage is terrible, this is louder than RWA on my skin by far. It’s that RWA is so much better. There’s something I can’t quite place that I like about intense dark exclusive. Maybe it’s the tobacco. Maybe it’s the composition as a whole. But I can’t deny that it would be much better with some warmth or sweetness or booze. I do like it but it lacks sophistication. Update: green apple, mint, and basil are all in the opening and quite nice! Not my style but pretty nice.

A nice fragrance that I like slightly better than RWA. Great longevity, though I don't get a lot of projection. Not that I was expecting this to be a beast. This can be layered with RWA too. I do not smell synthetic smells or any headache inducing scents. It could be a designer frag if it wanted to compete with those. I must say I really like the bottle with its dark brown color. The cap I thought was magnetic but it snaps nicely. And the sprayer....one of the best I have ever experienced. It sprays the volume depending on how hard you press. I wish all sprayers were like this. So that makes it a joy to spray. I got this and RWA at my local Zara store for $20. for both in a box. A head scratcher how they make money on this because both fragrances are pretty good! Not disappointed.

Bought a very convenient bundle containing this one along with Rich, Warm, Addictive... less than 20,00 € for 2 bottles, 100 ml each... simply INSANE. Especially because the frags are really really good! I do prefer Intense, Dark, Exclusive a little bit more. It's less sweet and more charming, it opens great with a gentle minty-fruity vibe, and as it dries down the tobacco becomes more prominent. I don't smoke, I hate smoke, but I love tobacco-based scents! Longevity is fine too. Judging by the color of the juice, I bought the first version. I don't know if the 2018 release is somehow different. Anyway, Zara line-up is full of great deals, you can find a very sexy, quality fragrance and pay it literally a few bucks. Is this a dream? I don't want to wake up then!

Well named...it is intense and dark ...although its very reasonable price point makes a lie out of the exclusive. Initial spray is a little sharp and the fragrance continues as a rather intense tobacco and leather (yes, I know it's not a note, but that's what I smell...) scent that does come across as quite dark. Outstanding longevity. Honestly, don't know if I am total fan of the scent, but have to recognize that this is a really good quality fragrance. quite impressed by this Zara offering

I tested rich warm addictive and had to buy it immediately, but it was a part of a bundle with intense dark exclusive, so i had to get the set since they weren't available individually. but intense dark exclusive is very simplistic in my opinion, it's your typical spicy green cologne. which is not bad at all, it's definitely pleasant and very long lasting! dare i say it reminds me of Layton by Parfums de Marly? 😬not exactly, but it has a similar vibe to Layton.

Bought the 2019 version in UK for about £16 in a twin pack with it's brother scent "Warm, addictive". I find performance very good. Of the two of them this one (dark exclusive) is more masculine and less sweet. It's slightly more deeper on the tobacco and smokiness. A nice more winter scent. Lasts well. I think if you took these two Zara tobacco scents and combined them you'd get something like Stronger with you by Emporio Armani.

RIGHT - moving the line from the previous comment, this thing is different from the rich-warm counterpart of the line. It does have a ambery-marine tone to it, but it doesn't smell bad at all. I rather enjoy it... That being said, this thing has huge longevity and projection - it seems too high for 12€. Easily smellable in whole room, even after whole day of prancin' around in synthetic, flamboyant suits from this company...

Absolutely hated it at the first sniff and for a long time - unlike the Rich/Warm/Addictive version that is a love for many people. Then, somehow I thought about layering this one with the beloved twin brother - then the magic happened. When these two are combined, they compliment each other and becomes a better scent! I usually don’t do layering, but this layering, I strongly recommend.

Very good 212 vip "clone" , Zara his selling this again. In my opinion a lot better than Rich Warm Addictive 12.95€ 100ml , or the pack "tobacco collection" for 17.95€

Reminds me a ton of Invictus Victory once it dries down. Not bad as I am a big fan of Victory. Leans more masculine but could still slightly be considered unisex.

Very sweet, warm and cloying. Tobacco comes out later and it has a sweet synthetic vibe. Great bang for the buck.

very typical modern smell. This is not "dark" or "intense" and has very little sweetness.

A relative gave it as a gift to my family (kinda a weird, no context gift to begin with). I've never heard of this perfume before, obviously because I'm NOT the demographic. Take my words with a grain of salt. Didn't bother to look it up or even read what the bottle said either, so my first impression was like randomly picking a bottle to smell in the store with no expectation. All I knew was it's a Zara perfume, because the gifter said so. To me it clearly smells like a very spicy-peppery coffee with heavy, sweet vanilla cream. And hey, I was kinda right about the pepper and vanilla-ish (tonka bean), but it's not even a coffee fragrance, it's supposed to be a tobacco? Still can't detect the tobacco at all. For other views from "passing strangers" (I sprayed it in the air), my mom claimed it's a weird coffee fragrance, and my sibling thought it stinks (forgive me, he's not a fragrance person), he hates sharp perfume with passion, and this is very strong. I imagine it would mellow down and perform more beautifully in winter or cold weather. But currently we live in a hot & humid tropical country, so it's been sitting on the shelf for 3 years, and it's still full.

4/10 Scent = 1/3 Performance = 1/3 Wearability = 1/3 Value = 1/1 It is not that bad, but it is not what I would want to wear. Most of what I like about the fragrance is the bottle, it looks much more expensive than it is. The fragrance itself is okey for Eur 6 (100ml). It is kind of likeable synthetic DNA. I guess it is good if you do not smell it close to the body as it is sneeze-inducing. Bought this for 6 EUR because of the tobacco note. But I don't really get the tobacco in this one. I would not compare this to 212 VIP. It is the same style, but there is plenty of differences. If you don't want to spend much money, and you like fragrances like PR One Million and CH 212 VIP - this is quite suitable for you, but for me - it is too feminine and synthetic. Edit: dry-down similar to Halloween Man X and even more similar to original Halloween Man

Sorry but much like many other Zara fragrances this does not project or last long making it totally redundant. This is a common theme with a lot of Zara fragrances (With the exception being RWA).

Maybe it just me, the pepper is too strong to my nose. I got a headache after 30 minutes. I can't give a rating because I can't use it. Try before you buy!

Edit: The newer bottles seem to have a problem with the nozzle. Mine doesn’t spray properly, and even the tester at the store didn’t even spray at all.

Masculine. Generic. Cheap. 6/10 - Get Rich Warm and Addictive instead.

Spicebomb clone...90% Very lasting...

It's the failed one of the couple (a miracle happens only once). It turns directly to the chimical amber side, this popular smell some try to sell us 80 € the bottle at Paco Rabane. Fortunately it is always more successful than One Million for example and it gives us a better idea of the margin profit that take brands on perfumes. Do you know that the finished product of a 100ml bottle of One Million costs € 6 and just the perfume costs € 0.40. It is therefore quite normal that a Zara perfume of same quality but with less blingbling bottle may cost € 12, it's still a profit margin of 80%.

Everything that could be interesting is burried under cloying synthetic mountain of sugar, which supposed to cover, that it has no real character, I guess. Similar to 1 Million and in some ways even more aggressive, at least without that weird rose element. The notes and reviews seemed interesting to me, but after just two wearings I know Im not gonna use this flanker anymore. I feel kinda too grown up for this. Its cheapie, but still... Smell: 4/10 Projection: 8/10 (but only in 1st hour) Sillage: 6/10 Longevity: 5 hours on my skin
