Tonka Obsession

Are we smelling the same fragrance? This is NOTHING like Burberry Goddess. This is creamy tonka with sandalwood and cozy warm vanilla. I agree, you can perceive a soft coconut note here. Very slightly though. Out of the new Tonka line by ZARA this is by far the best one. Get it before it gets viral!! What’s wrong with people’s noses lately? Get a grip of your senses! You’re smelling too much extracurricular crap.

Vanilla and sandalwood with a coconut warmness touch, this is divine! Creamy sweet soft buttery ... this is mouthwatering and at the same time is confort and calming similar to a hug. Love it!

I agree this reads nothing like Burberry Goddess to me. This doesn’t have the lavender that defines Goddess. So I am pretty perplexed it’s being compared to that. Tonka Obsession is a pleasant creamy tonka with maybe some light airy citrus notes to give it a little lift? Citrus notes aren’t listed but I know Zara doesn’t always list all notes. It’s sweet but not too sweet, creamy, tonka and sandalwood. The projection and longevity aren’t amazing but it’s overall decent for being an inexpensive fragrance. This is definitely not Zara’s best offering though, which for me will probably always be Immortal Vanilla.

This was the one I was closest to get. Sandalwood and vanilla is right up my alley. But the power is just not there. I sprayed it in store 5 times and went on a walk in between and I had to put my hand up to my nose to smell something. It is nice but I have body sprays with more power. I thought it would be sweeter and more in your face.

This has a lot of good word of mouth, but honestly, its nothing outstanding or better than the rest of the sweet synthetic fragrances from this ZARA line. Also marked as unisex, but for my nose its firmly at the female isle of the conversation. As for authentic tonka bean notes - nothing of the sort in here, just a lot of slightly synthetic vanilla and some powdery notes. Not bad, but as i said, a lot of redundancy with the scents in these tall cylindrical bottles they use for that line. Can't say i find it too different from the "amber" or "vanilla" lines in quality, and it is certainly not at the level of Moonlight Whisper and Sand Desert at Sunset, and not even in the same ballpark as the Jo Malone directed ZARA's

It doesn't have any similarities with Burberry Goddess. On the dry down it reminded me mix of Vanilla Vibration and Red Temptation Sandalwood. This is a pleasant scent but it's very weak longevity and sillage.

nothing to compare with Burberry Goddess, they are different fragances, but overall it is nice, a little deepth but also a sweet spicy vanilla, for me it is an ok.

Verry Vanilla. At first I wasn’t sold, at first spritz it was a bit “bath and bodyworks” or “Victoria’s Secret” ... but later on out crept the nutty sandalwood and it really is autumn opulence in a bottle. I tend to stay away from sweet scents but this one is quite comforting and beautiful. Chai latte by the fire vibes. I like it.

Of course this is NOTHING LIKE Burberry Goddess, The burberry G is disgusting, masculine, herby strong bathroom cleaner and insect repellent. This is not that. Anything is better than Burberry "goddess"... This is much much infinitely nicer. This Tonka O is a creamy vanilla woody sandalwood...

I feel like it has that generic zara perfume vibe, it may be good i just don't think it's that distinct or special enough for me to get if. I think my favorite from this tonka series is the tonka cream.

Pretty close to Burberry Goddess but more suitable for winter. I almost bought it, but since I have BG, I don't need it.
