Tonka Temptation

Hands down, the best ZARA fragrance I've ever smelled. This is absolutely stunning. It's simple but SOOOO GOOD. There's not a single thing I don't like about this scent, I can't wait for colder weather so I can rock this. An absolute steal for it's price. Trust me you WILL NOT regret buying this {blind buy safe 100%}. Super simple, creamy vanilla perfect for everyday use in autumn/winter. This will be my office scent and I'm afraid I'll order a second bottle soon just so I can absolutely overspray it when the time comes!! 10/10 considering it's price, overall performance, which I'm pretty sure is even better in cold weather, the bottle design and the scent itself. Do not sleep on this bad boy 🙂↔️

La Nuit de L’Homme meets Babycat’s vanilla obsession You really can’t go wrong when Jordi Fernández is involved. Tonka Temptation is warm, spicy and addictive, built around cardamom, vanilla and amber. It instantly brought me memories of YSL La Nuit de L’Homme, but with a much stronger vanilla-focused direction and a smoother, more modern drydown. Very much in the spirit of YSL Babycat, just more approachable and easier to wear. Perfect for evenings, dates and colder weather. Vibe / Message Dark cozy seduction. Babycat without the bourbon buzz..... Tested it out with a sample on wrists and it defo will scratch that itch for a tenth of the price. Lasted a long time as well

When people say Zara Tonka Temptation smells like Babycat, (I’m using Rifaqaat as reference, I don’t actually own the OG) they aren’t wrong. I would say it’s in the same realm, but they aren’t super similar side to side. Where Rifaqaat is a peppery spice in the opening and suede-y vanilla in the base, TT is a cardamom opening with more of a straight vanilla/tonka drydown. I would even go as far as to say the opening of TT is kind of similar to that of Le Male Le Parfum, because of that cardamom. Regardless of similarities, it’s a nice scent. Leans masculine, lasts a good couple hours for projecting and several overall. Doesn’t project a crazy amount, but people will definitely smell you if they get close. 7.5/10, it’s a good budget vanilla fragrance, but I just find some other vanilla centered fragrances to be better.

Reminded me very much to D'Orsay's Tonka Hysteria, and it makes sense because both have Jordi Fernandez behind. Not sure why Fragrantica does not list it as a Jordi Fernandez fragrance.

babycat wihout spice and chemical opening

First impressions from smelling it on paper. It's a sugary tonka bomb, definitely a Babycat clone. Maybe with a hint of Guerlain Ideal? Like it has a bit of that almond cleanness in the opening which makes it fresher than Babycat. I also own Rifaaquat (Babycat clone) which is like 90% the same but with more suede note which makes it denser. Not at all similar to Eau d'Ombre Leather btw.
