Unusual Wood

This scent is interesting. There is something citrusy and aldehydic in the opening that makes this smell like some kind of cleaner. The opening can be kind of hard to get through but doesn’t last long. When it dries down, the ambroxan and woody notes become more noticeable. There’s still a bit of freshness that lingers but it’s no longer overwhelming. At this point, it’s similar to JHAG Not A Perfume. 8.5/10

If I want a simple fresh pick-me-up kind of scent, I reach for this. First blast starts synthetic citrussy, slightly pepper and then it settles into a musky, woodsy base. Nothing fancy, but I like it well enough. Doesn't last that long, but can prolong other scents when layered. Good inoffensive gym scent.

Great wood scent that would be a great layering scent or a simple scent for a clean woody experience BUT...Does not last linger longer than 30 minutes. I have a leaking bottle and even though my hands are drenched in the spray and the scent dissapears after a few minutes GREAT FOR KIDS-- This is a great scents for kids who love perfume but dont want the childish scents that are usually found in the drug store. It is great play for them to mix and match for kids who were like me and enjoyed less childish perfumes--- but as kids, they can overdo it and choke out the family, but this is truly one they can play with and it wont annoy. Regarding using the scent on sheets/towels and such, It does leave a scent on sheets when I sprayed it and it seem to last at least 4 hours, a very light, woody, pleasant scent.

I actually quite like this both on its own and as a perfume extender for fresh woody scents. It’s a creamy wood a bit like cedar that’s just the tiniest bit sweet. not sweet gourmand but sweet like the sweetness of Eau Duelle or Gypsy Water. It’s a good extender for both these fragrances. My partner said it gives the barest hint of pool toys as well, which I get but somehow doesn’t take away from the fragrance. It doesn’t disappear instantly more like 3-4 hours or longer on clothes.
