Vibrant Leather Bogoss

Finally pulled the trigger and got the 100ml bottle. Definitely one of my favorite Zara fragrance DNA's. I'd had my eyes on the regular Vibrant Leather for months and visited my local Zara to test VL + all its flankers, on multiple occasions. Initially, I was dead set on getting the original, since I wanted an Aventus clone. On top of that, Bogoss just smelled too sweet to me. But that was in winter, and then spring/summer came around, and my perception of this fragrance totally changed. It smells so good and it's such a happy scent. So while the regular VL might be more versatile, Bogoss just smells better IMO. Usually Zara oversimplifies the notes on the packaging, but in this case they're pretty damn accurate: A lovely, happy pineapple topnote with a twist of lemon + a great leather/wood drydown to give it some body and "seriousness". It's basically a tropical summer day in a bottle. Performance is good, for a Zara fragrance. Not weak, but definitely not a beast either. The leather/wood drydown can be picked up 12+ hours after spraying. The pineapple/lemon note only lasts an hour or two I'd say. Projection/sillage are kinda weak but it has great longevity on skin. It's not MEGA cheap, but for a 100ml with a good atomizer and a magnetic cap, I'd say it's a fair price. Overall: 8,5/10. Great summer scent. EDIT: Tried overspraying HEAVILY last night to see if it would amp up the performance, but strangely it didn't. I'd recommend somewhere between 6 to 10 sprays, but no more.

This is Super Juicy Sweet Pineapple Heaven! Aventus fanboys & fan girls who want a dense and Ripe juicy sweet pineapple topping on Aventus dna Vibrant Leather should just grab a bottle. It somehow opens better than Qaed Al Fursan Lattafa and Now RAVE which I have/had. That said, Begoss Vibrant leather comes in a blue Zara house VL bottle with a magnetic cap. Gets sold in standard black soft cardboard box and hard large LE boxes. I bought the large hard cardboard box with the picture of a blue stone in front, batch 41200. I think Begoss VL is worth the value alone for the blast of lovely juicy pineapple in the opening alone, doesn't matter if it's really lasting or not because the og VL is pretty known for its poor performance. All you need to do is to put in 15-25 sprays and you will fly, become a pineapple 🍍 head for the next hour or two. Really lovely juice. Makes the og VL a n00b... I have heard that this Begoss VL is already pretty popular and well I think most are not wrong. I like Begoss VL more than og VL mainly for the performance. But of course if you don't like it sweet and prefer the usual higher Aventus quality than there's absolutely no need for you to try this since there are many many more expensive Aventus dna niches out there to go for. For now, I'll enjoy and soak myself in pineapple juice till I try the next Zara VL explosion which I already bought, that's gonna be another massive compliments getter.

Imagine freshly squeezed lemon and grapefruit juice poured over a pineapple popsicle, so juicy, refreshing, and mouthwatering on a hot summer day. That’s exactly what this smells like in a bottle. I honestly just want to open it up and drink it, it smells that delicious. I don’t get any leather notes from this at all. It does remind me of Qaed Al Fursan, but it’s not a one-to-one match. They start off similar but part ways soon after. QAF obviously has that Middle Eastern twang with a kind of licorice-ish note. Longevity and performance aren’t amazing, though. I’d say it lasts about 4 to 5 hours on clothes, but you have to be pretty close to catch a whiff. On skin, maybe an hour tops. But that’s fine with me since I usually spray it on my shirt anyway, so it doesn’t really bother me. I think this works for any age and is perfect for hot summer days, especially if you’re heading to the beach or out on vacation. Just spray it 8 to 10 times all over your shirt before you leave the hotel to grab food or hit the boardwalk. This is the ultimate beach vacation fragrance. I already know what I’m bringing on my next trip to Hawaii. 8/10

Very nice cologne. Smells youthful, sort of ck escape/invictus bubblegum scent, like fresh plastic, a little like Seoul/zara blue and also man gold, slight pineapple, but more like something fresh, plastic, or new tee-shirt perhaps. almost like the odor inside zara stores. Returning to this review, 2 years later, I dont wear this often because I have about 100 other colognes, 30 or so I especially enjoy, and 5-10 i always go for. But when I use this, every few weeks or so, I love it. So far its my favorite Zara scent. The old ones, Seoul, Blue, For Him, Man Gold & Silver - theyre all good. The leather ones are okay, and Fire and Earth are also very good, best of the new ones after this one. Sweet, unique odor. Trendy, youthful, good to wear when dressed well and out and about during the daytime.

I got this randomly at a Zara store in Kosovo while I was waiting in line to pay for my clothes. The packaging looked so appealing and the pineapple smell right after I sprayed it on my hand was extremely attractive. On my way home, the scent kept getting better and better! I was so happy for buying this perfume without overthinking it. It smells way more expensive than it really is. I'd describe it as D&G Light Blue (for women) with an extra touch of pineapple, which gives the scent that tropical vibe. It's not a typical masculine perfume, but it's neither feminine. This perfume represents a modern, open minded, charismatic, happy young man. Longevity is good, I wish it had a better sillage. Overall, the perfume is worth adding to your collection. Especially if you're into fruity perfumes. 🍍🍋

This would be my signature scent if the longevity was better. If you’re wondering which Vibrant Leather to pick up, let it be this one. I have a 2023 batch of this, and I believe that most of the Vibrant Leather fragrances were reformulated and repackaged throughout 2024, so I’m not certain if they are the exact same, but from my experiences they are very similar. This is very similar to Lattafa’s Qaed al Fursan, being quite pineapple + citrus forward, but lacks the performance that QaF has. This projects decently well for about 2-3 hours actually, but once that’s out of the way it’s a skin scent until the 5-6 hour mark and then it’s gone. For the price you pay, you get a great scent with okay performance and really nice packaging (magnetic cap, good atomizer, heavy bottle).

I have many other colognes for summer, but this is my favorite summer fragrance! It's a very nice, beautiful, tropical, sweet bomb. At first, I literally smelled only pineapple, like dense pineapple juice, similar to what other reviewers have mentioned, but I can also detect lemon and leather, and it blends beautifully. Additionally, it's not expensive, and it's not as weak as other 'ZARA' fragrances. I hope 'ZARA' never discontinues it. Lastly, it reminds me of 'BAL D'AFRIQUE' by Byredo, which has pretty similar vibes. I was really surprised to find out that both are created by the same perfumer

VL Bogoss is extremely good for the price! It's a pineapple bomb mixed with a sort of pina colada, is not a very masculine fragrance but is surely a crowd pleasing smell that fits perfecty for the summer and spring days, is wonderful! Longevity is pretty good and sillage is just ok, packaging is also great with a magnetic cap in the bottle. By the way, this doesn't smell like Blue Seduction by Antonio Banderas, they are totally different. Edit: this smells extremely close to Lattafa Qaed Al Fursan 8,5/10

A lot like Black XS but for summer. That alone makes this one great. As there isn't much loud and sweet fragrances for summer that won't let you choke out a room. Most fragrances seem to be a little more casual and that's great but it's good to have a cheap summer fragrance that stands out and will get compliments. Projection is really good for the first few hours. Then it becomes closer to the skin.

As a smell, so much better than Qaed Al Fursan. No cheap saffron, richer base, mmmmmmmmm The atomizer on mine literally doesn't work. It pisses itself, wets the bed. Currently wondering how I will solve this dillemna, maybe always spray it into a travel 5ml and carry it with on the days using, since its longevity isnt the best. $10 for a frag that smells like a simple+well-made $40.

A very clean and likeable scent. Not an "in-your-face" type of perfume. If you like layering perfumes, then this scent I think is almost like a camouflage when mixed with other perfumes. I won't further explain this but the perfume is a must have. I would recommend wearing this occasionally in summer/spring and night.

Pineapple Paradise!!🍍⛱️ This fragrance really reminded me of Jean Paul Gaultier's Le Beau but without the coconut counterpart. I never really got the leather and cedar scent which makes it a fresh fragrance for me. This lasts moderately on my skin (about 4-5 hours) and is worth checking out! Overall, 8.5/10 👍🍍

Like my dad is young again, and I’m a little kid. He’s handsome, dressed up for a special occasion — shirt, trousers, nice shoes. Later he comes home slightly drunk, in a great mood, talking to me, with just a trace of good alcohol on him. Buying the "Vibrant Leather" series in bulk.

I had never smelled a sweet pineapple fragrance before until I tried this. A great "Vibrant Leather" line from Zara reminds me of the cooled-down summer sunsets and the swimming pool days. It's definitely a good buy for summer and can easily be worn anywhere.

It smells like a fresh lemon & pineapple juice. The scent is absolutely amazing. The performance is very poor. I would pay 5x the actual price just to get the same scent in a better quality (regarding the performance).

Loved this, could immediately pick up the pineapple when I tested it. Not sure about the performance but seems to be on the low side. Pretty unisex fruity scent to me. Sweet. Not leathery at all, thank goodness.

It smells wonderful. I get a lot of pineapple out of this with a slight leather undertone that really makes it a stand out for me. It lasts a long time on my skin, so I can see myself wearing this all the time.

The first two days after I bought it, smelled super intense, now I cant smell it. I asked few people do they smell anything on me, they are surprised about the question. I dont know what's wrong.

I have been in plantations of pineapple and this perfume smells literally like cutting the most mature pineapple from the plantation, it's really fresh, sweet and clean.

This is their Man Gold (which o own) just in a different bottle, same opening and dry down. Man Gold even has the pineapple note, although this not listed on here.

This has a really good mixture of Hacivat, Black XS, Aventus and pineapple scent. If you like any of the scents I mentioned then you’ll love this!!

I had this parfum. This is really good smell! Fresh, easy and fruity. Negative experience, the smell does not last long and too moderate to me.

Awesome fun Pineapple scent that is nicely grounded by the woody/leather tones. Great for a night out, or a day drinking in the park.

Got Bogoss today after looking for 2nd bottle of VL Cologne on my local Zara (sadly no luck) and i have to say that i am already regretting my decision. This is not bad at all, sadly again, it just doesn't last. Only thing i can smell on my skin is really lovely opening, mix of citruses and pineapple and... that's about it. It basically disappears after like half hour. And again, i have to say that i think that they are doing something with the testers, because the one i tested in the store was much more longer lasting and i was able to smell that pineapple mixed with VL DNA in the drydown for few hours. Sadly the bottle i bought and got is not as nearly as strong as the one i tested in the store. I am personally loving majority of the VL fragrances and i think that they do smell good but majority of them and especially the newer ones are having big performance issues and that is just so disappointing. Only two that i can REALLY recommend because of both how they smell and how they perform are VL Cologne and VL Eclat de Bergamote. Don't bother with the rest. And yes, i own or i tested all of them except for two or three that were discontinued.

Very juicy, fruity, tropical scent. The beginning is very pineapple-like, dripping with very sweet, fresh pineapple juice, accompanied by lemon which intensifies the very refreshing atmosphere. Perfect for a not too hot summer, provided we like sweet scents. I like it, but sometimes it starts to smell a bit sweet. Fortunately, tart, sour citrus fruits curb this sweetness a bit and the composition does not fall into too hard candy-like atmosphere. I don't feel much of the skin here, but it does show through sometimes. In my opinion, Bogoos is better than the classic Vibrant Leather, but it will be more suitable for young people. The juiciness and syrupy sweetness of pineapple are perfectly reproduced here. It's a pity that this pleasure is so short-lived, because the durability is disappointing, you have to spray it every 3-4 hours. Unfortunately, the projection stops after 15 minutes. If the parameters were improved, it would be a great perfume. 7/10

I like the pineapple enormously, it’s bright, not too sweet. I was kind of disappointed how it swerved into its leather as the opening is deceptive and you think it’s going in a unisex direction but it settles quite traditionally ( I’m a female). Pineapple, very lovely but fleeting on me. It’s a masculine leaning light leather, easy daytime, office friendly casual. I’m not a layerer of fragrance but for the first time added a vanilla to round off the leather. Normally I love leather for depth but this does not have that in its design, it’s light. It’s more traditional man in dry down than the tobacco rich/warm/intense, Sand dunes at sunset/ Livre Blanc, all of which I wear as they punch above price point and are very unisex. I will share it with my partner. Definitely layering with vanilla for me.

The sent is great but the longevity is horrendous. I might get an hour out of it so it’s hard to wear all day but that’s also a common theme with summer scents. I get a sort of mango opening but it could be the pineapple mixed with leather. The first 5 minutes it smells way to synthetic but then I get a good pineapple. It’s really what you would expect for 15$. Except for the magnetic cap which I was not expecting at all and is a fun plus. It would be a good gym sent but is hard to wear for anything else because of how short it lasts. So overall it’s a good scent but the longevity is terrible.

My batch is more grapefruit and woody than anything— don't get much in the way of pineapple, at least when compared to Bogoss Vibrant Leather Summer. That said, it's a very pleasant unisex scent with clean, elegant packaging... And great quality for such a low price point ($45.90 for 100ML of this and the summer version, about $0.23/ML). It lacks longevity, lasting maybe around 2-4 hours on an average day, and it's a skin scent, but that's actually ideal for me since I prefer intimate to moderate; don't like filling up a room.

I thought I was buying one of Zaras classic vibrant perfumes but this one has a tropical vibe with an extra touch of pineapple. Definitely not masculine or feminine and perfect for a modern, open-minded, charismatic and happy young person. The longevity is excellent, but the silage could be better. Overall, it's worth adding to your collection, especially if you like fruity scents. The pineapple scent fades after 10-15 minutes, but you are left with a pleasant woody aroma that lingers for a long time.

It smells super tropical and strong pineapple note with the leather base after a while, on clothes it lasts a long time(8 hours currently), less so on skin (approx like 5 or 6 hours), used this to layer with CH Bad Boy Cobalt and it smells super good together as it adds that extra summer tropical-ness to the bad boy cobalt! For the price it's superb, sweet tropical goodness with a very light smoke and woody leather notes after a while, super strong pineapple opening but pleasant.

Extreme blast of sweet juicy pineapple lasts 10 to 15 minutes and then you become 99 % noseblind... What is left, is a veery generous dose of iso e-super, just like in Dior Homme 2020. And surprisingly, this lasts for very, very long time and makes you smell like velvety woods, very pleasing. Cedrat Boisée+Aventus+Dior Homme 2020. Big surprise, because after first wearing i thought its weak as hell. It's not - it's just olfactory fatigue from iso e overdose ;-)

Very nice scent, but there ́s nothing I hate more than a fragrance with a weak performance and sillage. As most for Zara fragrances, even if they are cheap, they are not worth it. You need to re apply every 2-3 hours to be just a skin scent. I can ́t find the new SUMMER flanker. Performance is even worst.

I like this more than the Vibrant Leather for its fruitiness and sweet pineapple note. Poor Longevity though. Surprisingly found that works quite well when layered with the VL (Since I got both together during a sale). Also works well on its own, but maybe need more spray.

Pineapple juice with hints of pina colada in the opening quickly drying down to the famous accord of Olivier Cresp’s found in Paco XS, D&G Light Blue (women), Moschino I Love Love etc. Cashmeran - Z11 - Norlimbanol - Ambroxan and cedarwood Virginia.

Like it. It's a perfect summer cheapie with a high likeability. For everyone who's saying it's an Aventus clone: it's not. It smells really close to Antonio Banderas Blue Seduction. Close enough to call it a clone.

I really like this, its more realistic and sweet pineapple than in sce buuuuuuttt the longevity is... in fact it just isn't. As a gym or 1 hr fragnance and for the price is good

I really enjoy the smell too bad after only 1 hour it becomes a skin scent and after 3 hours i can't smell anything, even with a discount i dont think its worth it.

the pineapple note is kinda intimidating alright zara fragrances are knows to last as much time you do in bed it has pretty good longevity

nice presentation fairly unique fruity sweet year round mass appealing kinda juice. pineapple comes through surprisingly natural.

100ml for 9,99€? unreal price for this juice, yes, its zara, yes it has no sillage, but scent itself is very likeable
