Vibrant Leather Eclat de Bergamote

Updated: 11/14/2022 I've had some time with this one now, and it's still the most prominent Orange in any of my fragrances. Now being on my 2nd bottle, I figured I'd do an update. I never noticed the hint of powdery shimmery type of vibe that takes place in the first 15 minutes. I wore it a couple days ago in the cooler weather. It was quite pleasant. However, I, primarily, still use it for ultra hot days. It works perfectly. Longevity is generally roughly 6 hours for me in my usage. Don't listen to those who claim 15-30 minutes longevity. I get an overall vibe similar to Mont Blanc Explorer, with less pepper, none of that mildew from Explorer, and that orange/tangerine citric blast. It really should've got more hype than it did. Oh well, those who did get to experience it, got a nice treat. As with all Zara's, pretty sure this is discontinued by now, but it has been a fantastic pick up.

I ate my own words as I think this is probably the best Zara in my collection and possibly the best Zara I've ever smelled. That opening is seriously incredible for the price and the juice is just great overall, from opening to drydown. It's all about the orange, with just a hint of spiciness, woods, and other citrusy elements in the background. It smells like if they took the original Vibrant Leather, but they use orange instead of the bergamot or "pineapple" as the most dominant note. It works best in high heat or for an office usage. Longevity is good enough for a citrus-heavy scent. 4.5 to 6 hours with a good projection in the first 30 to 45 mins. There's nothing that special about its performance, but too bad either.

What an opening, what a blast. Many times I find myself liking the openings of Zara fragrances even more that the ones they are copying. If they find a way to improve the performances while keeping the same price, a lot of big brands will get in trouble. Vibrant Leather Eclat the Bergamot is truly a masterpiece regarding the scent. It does compete directly with fragrances like Allure Homme Edition Blanche or Vetiver d'Hiver from Armani, not in term of similarities, but quality of the scent. The opening is as exceptional as D&G Light Blue Forever (without the realistic part). Zara, please, make your fragrances last longer and project more...... without increasing the price...... do the magic trick.

Yeah this one is really good. The opening has a lovely blast of orange and pink pepper. It's a little creamy yet still juicy after a minute. Definitely has that Vibrant Leather (apparently Aventus clone) DNA. Doesn't smell like Terre D'Hermes Eau Tres Fraiche at all, as the similar to section would have you believe. Eau Tres Fraiche is a bitter orange peel opening, this is more juicy and then creamy. Both orange, yes, but not similar scent wise. Performance could be better on this one, get yourself an atomiser to take some with you and top up. But it's a lovely scent 👍

Got it few days ago, together with OG VL, VL Intense and i also had VL Oud from before. This one is by far my favorite of the 4. Citruses in the opening are beautiful and it actually smells like OG VL in the drydown just more fresh and citrusy. Would definitely recommend it. My favorite VL out of the few i tried so far.
