Waterlily Tea Dress

This is spring in a bottle. The scent is very fresh, watery, green, but there is also a lot of warmth in it, such steamy warmth. After a while it becomes more creamy. Very nice. I was afraid that it might be too feminine, but it is completely unisex. I decided on the Elixir version because I was afraid that the classic version would have poor parameters. And indeed longevity of Elixir is good, projection is quite clearly noticeable. It is better than in the original version. Zara did not lie, Waterlily Tea Dress Elixir is more long-lasting and intense, but at the cost of less ethereal and slightly heavier. 9/10

This perfume smells like spring! It smells like you've entered the flower shop where you can smell the flowers and their stems all around it. It smells like you walked through the meadow, beside the lake, early in the morning after the rain has fallen and the first rays of sun are touching the ground. Smells like a watery scenes from the Claude Monet paintings of waterlilies.... Very powerful perfume, long lasting and with strong aura... I'm so in love with it 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🪷🪷🪷🪷🪷🪷🪷.... This perfume is stunning, and I’m glad I managed to get a backup bottle as it’s now been discontinued. This is such a fresh, green fragrance with a feminine touch of floral. I smells very expensive and unlike anything I have smelt before. I get compliments every time I wear this and I can smell myself all day. Definitely one to try if you enjoy fresh/green fragrances.

I love Waterlily Elixir even more than the original. It’s simply exquisite and has some similarities with Byredo’s Gypsy Water.

I'm so happy that Jo Malone is working with Zara and love the elixir line. This is a beautiful, fresh, green fragrance with a musky powdery dry down. Perfect for Spring and Summer. 10/10 Update: I do love this, but after wearing it a few times I realized it's a little too sharp for me and I also have other Lily fragrances in my collection that I enjoy more.

I'm trying to expand my horizons beyond my sweet, powdery, gourmand-leaning fragrances. I enjoyed G Water, I can't recall where I saw this recommendation, but gave it a try since it was on sale. This is green, green-green. I don't get much citrus and the florals are not overly present either. To me, this smells like walking into a giant, humid botanical greenhouse on a warm day when the keepers are doing a bunch of pruning. Like sticking your nose into a bucket of the clippings from a hundred different plants. I don't hate it. The fact that I tolerate it instead of washing it off convinces me that this is a very nice fragrance. It's just not my vibe (for now, at least.)

Bring it back zara i'm not playing! I waited years for amber fig and cashmere to return, i will win in the end. The mint note is missing on the page for the elixir, but it still is very present in the scent, dw. I just need it back because its a deeper slightly more sophisticated big sis of the og scent.
