Zara For Him 2014

Some have mentioned that it was discontinued, but I just bought one from Zara store the other day,December 2017 so? ..It was the only one I immediately liked from their collection, but maybe the bottles were stale n old so not sure. Anyway I liked it right away from the first sniff, but maybe its because I like such scents. It's a safe vanilla musky nutty smokey scent, sweet but still very masculine, your typical handsome well dressed Zara man basically :) It doesn't seem to last very long though, but the one I got says eau de toilette, so not sure if they have an eau de parfum version? It was very cheap also, which made it an instant buyfor me. I guess you get what you pay for, though sillage is not bad for the first hour but then I think it becomes just a skin scent. A gorgeous one though and lasts for a good 5 hours or more so if you kiss someone they will surely pick up on it. Yes it's not that original as there are many different brands that came out around the same time that are based aro7nd the same notes n I guess Zara was just presenting a cheaper version of a mainstream masculine scent.

I got the 5.2 oz bottle of the latest version of Zara For Him with the 2018 Zara Tobacco Collection Dark Intense Exclusive. I must say that on one hand I'm pleased by it and on the other hand I'm let down by it. It is a nice Dior Homme like scent but I can't help but think it is like Euphoria Man Gold. While it isn't a bad thing, Euphoria Man Gold is really good IMHO. This is nice, but it isn't great nor is it horrible. Zara has plenty of scents that smell bad, Dark Crude I'm looking at you (due to mint) and even Rich Warm Addictive (due to the harsh port wine like open.) Anywho the notes for the current bottle are lavender, cedarwood and vanilla. I notice some notes similar to a Dior Homme/Euphoria Man Gold like either coffee or honey and the vanilla note. It kind of fits both scent profiles from knowing the two scents. It dominates the scent actually. Not that is a bad thing, I do like, even love that accord in Euphoria Man Gold. However that is the only real character in this scent as the vanilla mixes in. Zara For Him performs and lasts nearly as much as I find Euphoria Man Gold does. To me, this is what this scent got right. It last seven hours with about an hour to an hour and a half of moderate projection. Its use is a bit limited at casual and date settings during fall-spring. Overall Zara for Him is nice I rate it a 7.6 but if you have Dior Homme or Euphoria Man Gold, it is a skip.

A cheap copy of Dior Homme: You get a similar bottle and even those strange overlaying lipstick notes are present in this one, too. However, saying it's cheap isn't meant to be insulting, it's just Zara's concept. You may buy Zara or Dior, the difference in the price is huge and of course it will be observed by others. Yet there are many people around who don't want to or who simply cannot afford highly priced fashion goods and prefer to go to Zara. Put differently, this one is perfect for those who like a modern gentleman's scent but don't want to spend too much money on it. Therefore, it perfectly suits Zara suits and ties and represents what made Zara great in the first place: Nowadays, everyone can afford to appear with style, it's less a question of money but rather a question of will. **

What Zara does is change their line of fragrances for the seasons and only keep the best selling ones in more rotation. They also change the bottle design and either keep the same juice or reformulate it. Maesa Corp. is the company that does this for them.

scent : 9/10 sillage : 7/10 longevity :7/10 60% night/ 40 day fragrance reminds me of Dior Homme but lighter and with less performance nice iris scent

It is a good performance fragrance, thou it's not that nice to smell it in my opinion. It can get cloying and gets me a headache sometimes.

It reminds me Carner Barcelona Tardes a little bit just more fruity and enjoyable!!

Smells to me like Pi or Body Kouros, not like Dior Homme. But I do not know if the version I tried was this one, because Zara fragrances are very confusing as for that.

Absolutely nothing like Dior homme, for that there's 9.0?! I think, like a mix of dior homme and valentino uommo. This one sweet and forgettable, nothing special here.

discontinued, the new bottle design looks like gourmand leather, now very weak in sillage and longevity.

Manly. Very spicy. This is my first encounter, I will write more review later.
