Zara Man Gold

Cant go wrong with this one if you want a sweet, dark scent to wear out. Cross Black XS and Deseo by Jennifer Lopez - both fragrances which have a lot of sex appeal. Somewhat reminds me of Creeds Aventus with more pineapple and no smokeyness. I picked this up because it reminded me of the first smell of Aventus i remmebered until I bought a batch of some smokey ashy fruit smell version of it which i did not like. It is sweet in a masculine way. I spray it on me and clothes and it stays for a while and dries down nicely. Projects and is kinda loud so dont lather yourself in it. For 10 bucks and good sillage, projection and a rip off other sex appeal scents I consider this a great buy. Bottle is simple,small and travel size.

Deleted my old comment because I just said a whole lot of nothing: This scent is amazing and light. Very fruity, vibrant, uplifting and smells nice in general. If performance is an issue for you, just do one double spray on each side of the lower neck and you're set. Among all of the other fragrances in the market for "evening, cool weather" this doesn't stand a chance, but in my opinion, this fragrance is up there with AS Kilian and other big names (not saying the scent profiles are similar, they absolutely are not). This isn't for freezing cold or boiling temperatures, just predominantly nighttime use. I would prob buy a back-up bottle, especially at its price 9/10

Gourmand for beginners - that's what came to my mind at first. If you want to start experiencing gourmand, sweet fragrances - just try Zara Man Gold! Warm, creamy, seducing scent but still very light and delicate No chance to get a headache and be scared of sweet fragrances for the rest of your life.

I've never thought of buying a Zara fragrance before, but this is rather good, I don't get much of the notes listed if I'm honest, but it's pleasant nonetheless, and lasts rather well. Sweet, dark Pineapple, it's not bad at all.

Perfect copy of Charriol Men by Charriol and Paco Rabanne Excess for men. It's a unique smell I'd say, lasted for couple of hours under room temperature in a humid country like mine.

this is a nice night time scent, very edible foody smell makes people wanna eat you up lol. It does not last very long on me but luckily its cheap so u can spray as much as u want.

This is the best Zara scent so far I've tried. I just wish it was stronger and longer-lasting.

For me its very similar to Twin azzaro, lasts long n its cheap.

Bought it last month quite okie with it and pretty much seductive.Smell like rich chocolate aroma and caramel on the top note.Once it dried down,had a very strong spices scent to me (sort of bitter medicine type of smell) but in a decent way.Projection are moderate and the longevity are about 5 hour on my skin...nothing powerful on its performance,but what you expect from the cheap price of it.Will be my back up fragrance on my wardrobe.Quite a manly perfumes for me and doesn't smell cheap. Scent -8/10 Projection -6/10 Sillage-5/10 Longevity -6/10

I actually love this smell, although it is a bit too softy, sweety, choclity. Very comforting. Actually it smells like a soft milk chocolate filled with some strawberry/praline/pineapple cream. :D Very kind, appealing, but no any harsh masculine edge expect that soft vanilla/leatherish/flowerish/creamy hint.

What praline? what lemon? what cinnamon? all I get here is mellow pineapple "the dominant note to be noticed although wasn't mentioned at the pyramid" and i sense faint strawberry and something woody which I think is the ebony. Good longevity and good sillage. Not bad at all.

It is similar to Paco Rabanne Black XS's opening notes. It's continues monotonous leading of sour sweet praline. Base notes are so slightly, and quickly fade out on my skin. Feel free to try it. It's cheap and suitable for night use. Scent: 5/10 Longevity: 4/10 Sillage: 6/10

I agree with the poster below. It's a sweet dark scent that you can wear at night. I am not sure about longevity at the moment. I think it's around 4-6 hours. Sillage is moderate. Overall it's an ok scent for me. I prefer Zara Man Silver. That's one of my signature scents.

This perfume is very similar to Japon Noir Tom Ford. For this price it's cool!

No idea why but to me it smells like oregano

Empieza de forma muy cítrica, con un claro olor a limón. A medida que pasa el tiempo los olores más dulces empiezan a revelarse, llegando a opacar el ácido. No tiene una duración muy larga, y termina con un olor a canela, ámbar y chocolate con un bajo tono cítrico de fondo. En mi opinión personal este perfume puede ser bueno para estar con tu pareja en una noche de películas.

I got it in a bundle with Zara Silver, one of my most used fragrances, never really liked this one and I went through 2 bottles of Silver before I could finish this one, it had a really harsh note on it that it was hard to get used to. I didn't even knew it was a dupe and so far I haven't liked many PR fragrances, so I won't bother to try the original. Can't recommend this one, as I really struggled to use it, I believe it has strong projection and it stayed on clothes for long.

The opening alone is a reason to not buy this. It is super harsh, giving headaches is it’s speciality. Besides that, the smell is alright, but still not worth buying, even at the low price point. Simply don’t. The market for winter fragrances is so large, the cold seasons are most definitely the best for the fragrance community. Don’t ruin it by wearing this. Save up and buy something that’s actually worth the money, and lasts longer than 1.5hrs.

The ebony wood and lemon don't smell very natural together, yet with the praline and cinnamon, they make something like a pineapple accord. Dark, woody, spicy, sweet - This is the right profile for a clubbing fragrance.

I really dislike this praline note, its reaææy sunthetic and overpowering, literally had to wash of because it was nauseating

It’s really sweet and a little gross to me.

A few things to get out the way here. I have a Zara at my local mall 5 minutes away from where I live, so needless to say I have a lot of Zara bottles at this point in my fragrance collecting hobby. This Zara gold bottle has been repackaged in several different bottles, so worry not if your bottle doesn’t look like this one, they all smell the same. Secondly, I hated this one right out the gate, but my hate turned to a like not long after. Thirdly, reviewers finally got it right in terms of what this smells like, Paco Blacks XS, but there are some few key differences that made me not like it it. With Black XS you’d swear that there’s pineapple in the fragrance, and same with this one, it’s presented in a way for the opening where you think it’s a pineapple bomb. Where this one differs is in the opening with the missing sage, and in the dry down with the different forms of Amber and woody notes. Also, in the mid, the praline comes across nuttier. I’ve actually had this for years but something about it made it a less likeable version of Black XS, however, over time, maybe letting the bottle breathe a little, or wearing in a different season, the bottle works a lot better for me. I’d also like to add that this is one of the rarer times that a Zara cologne lasts long than 4 hours. On a warm summer day, I can get between 5-7 hours out of this. Would I purchase this again? No.. Paco Rabannes Black XS is a touch sweeter and more appealing to my nose, still though, for a new collector looking for an entry level dupe, I wouldn’t discourage them from getting this, but just know that there’s better dupes out there. Which one would be a better dupe? Try Armaf’s Italiano Nero, a far more nose appealing scent and the compliments I’ve pulled from that bottle is insane. I’d give this a 7/10... It’s a slightly above average cologne with above average performance.

You've all read recently that every new masculine fragrance smells or supposedly smells like 1 Million from Paco Rabanne. The most recent accusations of "similarities" of the aforementioned fragrance were in Armani's Ultimate Code (which btw are not true, I own a big bottle and it is actually very, very good and overall better than the original) But this Zara Gold is the blatant, unapologetic copy of 1 Million. Smells exactly the same. Always go with the original, but this is actually so inexpensive that you can get this bottle for the car of for when you're on the go. Longevity and projection are good.

I really really wanted to buy this. It was love at first sniff. But alas the really bad performance, nonexistent sillage, and even worse longevity turned me off in spite of its really low price. It's even on sale with Man Silver that also smells nice. I've seen insights that it smells like Paco Rabanne Black XS but I cannot find it from sellers around me. I guess this scent is just something that's going to elude for a little while longer.

Yes, similar to Black xs, but not the same, Black xs is more creamy/praliné and sweet than this. Azzaro twin is so far, cause twin is more fruity and sweet to my nose. I feel a lot of alcohol in Zara, very sharp scent and I have a headache when I spritz, 0 projection and 1 hour lasting, waste of money, far better the original Black xs...

Extremely similar to Paco Rabanne Black XS, when i was younger i loved this fragrance, so if you don't want to spend a lot of money this is a perfect copy. (Unfortunately i don't find a perfect copy like this one of "La nuit de l'homme")

Tried the new iteration in the glass bottle with the yellow juice. Very sweet but also citrusy at the same time. Smells cheap and synthetic. Wont turn any heads or get any compliments imo. Save your money.

same as the other gold, black XS clone but more pineapplish than praline. not much sillage but last 4-6 hours. Anf forget about Aventus, it doesnt smell like this, no way!

I smell this yesterday.. its nutty sweet probably from the praline note.. its just ok for casual night time wear.. projection n longevity moderate on my skin..

the new bottle design for zara man gold with same decent longevity. This is like an xtra sweet version for Paco Rabanna Black XS because it has more praline.

This is pleasant but not my cup of tea. Got it as a gift for a person I respect and I can sometimes smell it on them so I'm happy.

for me , this is a lot sweeter as the original gold. like haribo candy.
