Zara Sandalwood

Story time, I was gifted this fragrance as a teenager by a friend from school. The notes are so unbalanced, yet so matching between them. I kept the bottle to smell the remaining last drops available. So vivid memories...100% recommend it!

Great bang for your buck... this is probably one of the better cheapie sandalwood scents on the market... citrus/geranium flight over a spicy/woody foundation... an inexpensive indulgence that is both satisfying and persistent.

Smell very similar to Dunhill Edition, I love it!

this is good but still last year Zara released a different sandalwood fragance for men which was better than this one,not listened here but Playa del Carmen for men by Zara,also a brand new release,is FANTASTIC for summer,DONT MISS IT.

as zara vetiver.....is too much citrus and there isn't sandalwood.

A synthetic composition - OK, synthetics are widely used today, some of them are good quality, so "synthetic" does not mean much by itself. However, in this case the composition is unbalanced, some notes are too high and, well, that is what gives the blend its character - every single note feels odd. It works perfectly as a room spray, not kidding. PS: OK, I am wearing it and it feels great - I cannot get sandalwood at all, rather a synthetic woody composition without complexity with a 1970's men cologne vibe. Give it a chance, it might grow on you.

No sandalwood, a sweaty, aromatic release in the style of the mid- to late-90s, gave me a splitting headache and hives. Never had hives from fragrance before. Can't really say anything positive about it. Can't put my finger on it what it reminds me of exactly, but an approximation might be an extremely synthetic cross between the discontinued Moschino Uomo and Safari for Men in its sweatier, pre-reformulation heyday.

I have to strongly disagree with the fellow cypriot below / Master perfumer and wizard of compliment attache, this perfume smells like the person who this guy is trying to describe. Actually , I AM THE FRIEND who he is trying to describe , this guy stole my fragrance and has the audacity to come on here and write reviews with MY FRAGRANCE. You should be embarassed and ashamed of your wrong actions , return it to me.

Pleasant sweet woody/spicy creamy EDT with citrus and muted floral heart and a decent sandalwood accord for the price. To the people below bemoaning the fact there is no sandalwood in the pyramid...what did you expect for your $8.99?? Aged Mysore oil? Your wilful ignorance baffles me. Do some reading about perfumery accords, for god's sake.

This fragrance is called "Sandalwood", if you look at the notes there is no sandalwood. It's a funny perfume.
