Zara Sugar Rose

I had the old package that had an elephant on the box, think it was from 2018. The scent was so sweet with vanilla and sugar, most adorable scent ever. I guess they discontinued that one and make this new formula, which has nothing similar to the one i had at all. Sad.

This is a light rose scent, perfect for applying after bathing or showering. I picked up my bottle in Amsterdam, where I first saw it. Since then I have seen it here in Vancouver. The bottle is pleasing to hold, and sprayer works well. The glass of the bottle has a bit of texture and it is frosted. This light rose scent is sweet and simple. It smells clean, but not in a sharp way. It is soft. Normally I am not into rose scents so this scent must be special. It's the rose scent for the non-rose-lover. The best use I have found is right before bed. I would also use it before work, or on a day when I just want to relax at home. It doesn't last hours and hours, but it's just perfect the way it is.

I have a version of this bought in UK about 3 or 4 years ago. It came in a white box with a small cartoon elephant on the front. The small is just a rounded glass oblong with a pink clip. It was in the children's department. I cannot remember why because the box doesn't list notes but I thought it supposed to have a chocolate note but I probly imagined that 'cos I don't smell one. It's just a sweet musky floral, but it's very good for the price, it's mild but doesn't smell cheap, just nice.
