Carate Urio

This is a peachy/orange rose, not your typical red rose scent. Very fresh and sparkling old money rose. I get this ice cream fruit sorbet opening and sweet woody drydown. Similar to irresistible and pdm Cassili which are my favourite scent profiles. Golden summer nights at sundawn in a bottle.

Opening smells just like a juicy strawberry fruit popsicle, lovely! After an hour only the rose with a woody base remains. If you love rose as a note, give this a try and see if the powdery way it's balanced with wood here is your taste. For me this is too feminine and there's something about the woody base that I find synthetic/cheap. Does last great though.

Golden, sweet, just-perfectly-ripe pears on a beach somewhere on the Riviera. Luxurious without being tacky. Old money but not powdery but creamy. Carate Urio has in the beginning a “space” or an “air” that reminds me of something metallic. It smells like a light blue almost white summer sky at the beach. What I love the most about Zarko’s perfumes is that they always tell a story and if you cannot relate to that story - the perfume is not for you. Carate Urio is gorgeous but she’s not for me. Can’t wait to try her brother next 🩵 Edit:. Getting to know her better I find her to smell like an old lady which is odd since this perfume is inspired/dedicated to his young daughter Olivia. Zarkoperfume is one of my favorite perfume houses but this perfume is just not it.

I mostly smell pear. Very long lasting though
